Hole In the Wall Cafe Catering And Events - Southern restaurant (US) in Conway, United States
Catered private dinner event. Great venue and atmosphere.
Great food that tastes just like momma use to make.
Fabulous place to eat. Will definitely be back
Cafeteria style restaurant. Everyone is extremely friendly. Traveling from Oregon and we found this place by accident. The fried corn bread and chicken fried steak was the best. Dawn had the pork chop and fried okra. She raved about it. Highly recommend if you are looking for exceptional comfort food.
Went here today for the first time ever to give it a try and I will say personally it was good I give the customer service a high score and the food about a medium the only down side to this was the price. I got a lunch plate and two sides, a pie and a fountain drink and my total came out to be $18.51 Im not really surprised about the price just because everything has gone up but still just for one person it can still be a little pricey. Here is a photo of the meal that I had
Excellent food. Staff are very helpful and attentive.
Great food, cafeteria style
Fantastic Food and Great Service!!
Definitely great service and food 😋 Our team enjoyed it 😎
Good ol soul food! 10/10 would recommend.
It was just ok Ive been there several times and usually very good but the last couple times it was not near the quality it used to be.
Good food, good prices, good service.
Excellent food that has a southern grannys cooking type of savor!
The food was amazing!Especially the desertsHighly Recommend !
The food was delicious! Home cooked, fresh corn cut off the cob, purple hull peas, delicious hash brown casserole. Everything we tasted was amazing! The atmosphere and the extremely friendly staff was the cherry on top! I HIGHLY recommend this place!
Meat was tough , order wrong , replaced with correct order and meat was so thin. Will not come back. Used to be very good, needs to improve standard.
Great meal. Loved the pan fried cornbread.
best home cooking we have had in awhile will return!
Ate here yesterday for lunch with a party of 4. The food was better than I expected and everything tasted delicious! The exterior and even interior setup made me have my doubts, but I would definitely come back here. There was some delays and mix up (had food brought twice to our table that wasnt ours😬), but overall a good experience.
Very good food and the people that work there are extremely friendly.
This place was great, I love the home cooking. It reminds me back when I was young and eating at my grandparents house on the weekends out in the country

Chicken fried steak is great. Never had a bad meal here in over 50 times of dining. Pies are delicious. Never disappointed. Good people also.
Friendly service. Well prepared comfort foods. Economical dining. Some different choices daily.

My cousin had her baby shower here and it was really nice. Had plenty space. Sorry no photos, but The outside literally does look like a hole in the wall but its nice on the inside.
We ate here today, the best fried chicken ever!!Always! Clean & excellent foodBecause of covid, the tables are spaced apart.Cafeteria style and friendly staff.
I travel all over the country looking for local restaurants just like this. Food is great and service is even better. Do yourself a favor and stop in. Wayne from N.C.
Great food! I tried it today for the first time .Grilled pork chop, green beans, purple hull peas and some fried cornbread.👍🙂 Got a piece of Oreo pie for dessert tonight..it’s good too. I’ll definitely be back.
We were passing through going back home to Nacogdoches Texas from Branson. We decided to try this place and we were so happy we did. The food is great and the people are just as wonderful and friendly!!! Wed highly recommend to any and everyone!!! Loved it!!!!
Best food in town, great service, friendly people.
Love this place! The food is great home seasoned. From the vegetables to the meat. Prices are good. Atmosphere is great and relaxing!! Definitely recommend it for Everybody!!
We had a great Christmas party. The food was excellent.
This place is one of my favorite places to eat. Ive never been disappointed. Great food, great service and friendly atmosphere. Their desserts are heavenly.
Had a great time with awesome friends and family for a wedding and reception.
The place was very clean and cool but not cold. The limited buffet was of good variety and very taste. The price was very reasonable. This place would be the go to eaten place if I was still working. I plan on going again anyways on a Wednesday for that days menu, it look like a great feast acoming. The service was excellent!
The food was flavorful (what I was able to getbut they were out of almost everything-at 12 this day. Im not sure if thats how it always is but its cafeteria style service down a line and they fix your plate for you. Service when we sat down was good. Good food-just go EARLY if you want options of different foods.
Been there several times, always got great food and great service. Ive know others that say the same. Price is about $10 a person average. Portions are good size, good old fashioned home cooking.
Found this place by complete accident. It is a cafeteria-style restaurant, they have different menu options everyday, that being said this is some some of the best southern food Ive had. I would come here every day if it wasnt for the fact I live about an hour away but any time Im in town Im definitely stopping here.
Went with a church group. The staff was helpful, and as I am handicapped, they carried my plate to my table. The portions were reasonable. Free beverage refills were offered. Condiments (sugar, salt, creamer pepper etc.were at the other end of the restaurant and not offered tableside by staff.
Hands down, the best comfort food place in Conway! Great selection, always changing menus and friendly service EVERY TIME. gets pretty busy during lunch, with limited hours. Wish they were open for dinner.
A wonderful place to go for some down home southern comfort food!
Enjoyed the veggie plate which was full of tasty southern dishes. Plus, the cornbread that came with was very nice.
Excellent every single time Ive been there, most recently 5/9/18. This is as close to a home cooked meal youll get without it actually being so. From chicken fried steak, to grilled chicken, its fantastic every time. Definitely my favorite place to eat in Conway.
Hand s down, the absolute worst catering experience Ive ever had. I attended a private party that we paid $23 per plate in which we were required a 50 guests minimum. In the business were in, we work late so arrival time varied for each individual. This shouldnt have been a problem since the stipulations for the party were that we were not limited to an end time. As we arrived at 9:30 p.m, the remainder of the food was being removed by the owner and her staff. When we made her aware that we would like to make our $23 plates, she rather reluctantly put the food back, had to go get plates (that were already put up), and gave us about 15 to 20 more minutes to get food. The two main dishes were completely gone, and the sides that were left were scarce. The taste was ok but nothing I would expect for the price. With this being said, we also paid to rent the building. The owner was responsible for set up, decorations, catering and clean up. Not only was there not enough main course entrees to feed our 45 people that showed, she took the remainder of the food with her when she left. I still cant fathom how $1150 wasnt enough money to make sure the portions were adequate. Then to top the cake, the "clean up" portion of the party was left to us, and we even unplugged her Christmas lights for her. Lesson learned. Never again will I spend a dime at The Hole in the Wall nor will I recommend this establishment to any company or individual. Very dissatisfied
Best food other than my moms. Its always fresh and the staff is friendly. Been dining here for years and very consistent. Dont change recipes as soon as you start liking something.
This is a little piece of Heaven for lovers of home cooked meals. The buffet offerings are delicious and varied: chicken fried steaks, chicken parmesian [totally addictive], smothered or fried pork chops, meatloaf, and squash, broccoli & cheese, and hash brown casseroles, mashed potatoes, white or pinto beans, greens, hot water cornbread or yeast bread rolls. Desserts are a must [a bargain at 2 for $5] coconut or chocolate cake, lemon ice box, peanut butter, or strawberry pies, chocolate 4 layer square, stawberry shortcake, etc. We drive 60 miles just to eat here and go home. The owner, Miss Tony, is a treasure!
ALWAYS GOOD! They know their craft. The employees are the epitome of the southern hospitality you read about. The only thing missing is someone to push you out to your car! I wish they were open later. Thank you for that Chicken Parmesean! Your cooks rock.
