Hodori Korean Restaurant - Korean restaurant in Baguio, Philippines
I love their sushi… well served.
The prices are reasonable. Loved the buffet. Tried their ala carte menu and was not disappointed.
Slow refill and there arent much food to choose from for an unlimited dining within the time I was there. The wasabi wasnt tasting like wasabi at all. The kimchi I had was too salty too. I have been dining in the same restaurant, but its the first time I had to experience this.
Not overly impressed, rather angry with myself for going. Very poor service. Staff was managing second to second. They couldnt multitask, or fetch a single Coke. Busy? Half full. There is a Korean Palace at Camp John Hay that is many times better for the same amount.
Their foods are delicious and lots of serving but their staffs arent that accomodating.
What good about this Korean Unli bbq is that the sides are also good. First time to try the bulgogi sauce in a KBBQ. Since people come and go, thats why floors and some parts are a little bit messy.
Great . But The Price Is A Just A LITTLE BIT OFF For Students And Anyone Whos On Budget And The Facility Is Not Quite Pleasant . However Its Just Minor Details The Food Is Great And And The Staff/Customer Service Are Very Accomadating.
Great food. The smell of the place is enough to get your appetite going. The buffet is a little pricey but really worth it. Has a fair share of side dishes. Staff is approachable and helpful.
The best specially w/ side dishes
I am giving it only a star because, though it is perfectly located near the busy street of Session the food is not tasty, it looks korean but doesn’t taste like one. I feel like we are forced to eat because of the price we are about to pay. The quality of the food is below average- It makes you full but not feeling satisfied. I do not recommend the place, go Jin Ho instead located at Upper Session
One of my favorite Resto esp. if Im craving for korean foods. Their Kimchi is the BEST😍
For your Korean/Japanese food cravings..Craving for some rolls..And had Cali Maki Rolls and Kimbab..#nasanKaJJ
One of the best Korean buffet restaurant in Baguio at a right price 👌🏼. Though Im not sure if they change their chef coz now the taste of chapchae, fried chicken and tempura werent the same as 3 years ago but all in all everything is fine. Toilet and tisues are well provided which is necessary.
Samgyupsal, bulgogi, japchae, kimbap, seasoned chicken, kimchi all you can. Shrimp tempura and California Maki, too. Just ask the staff...
tasty side dishes. been there a few times, love the new location. the last one was a ratty old place. consistent service & taste of food
Even if youre alone, it is still okay to go and indulge in their buffet. It will however be best if you go with your friends and enjoy fhe foods together. Sharing the hmmm.... I like this.... while eating 🙂
I really loved it here. The foods are delicious, the aesthetic of the place was okay, but what I really love about this is that it can accommodate a lot of people. The only thing that bothers me a lot is that the ingredients that they are about to use is just sitting there, outside the comfort room where anybody, ANYBODY, can just touch them especially that it is along the way. The price is one thing too but it kinda worth it. Overall, its a good place to eat out.
ramyon is cheap 200 peso good for 2 and with unli side dishes so its really nice
This review is based on our experince when we ate here. The buffet was not that much but if you love samgyupsal maybe you might like this. Eat all you can side dishes and grill all you can meat. Their japchae was no good. Noodles were overcooked and tasteless. The shrimp tempura that we had was bad. The breading too thick and the shrimp was not fresh. You can tell by the taste and the texture. The ramen that we ordered tasted like ordinary noodle soup but with more ingredients. Overall not an authentic korean-tasting food. Cleanliness also was another issue. Washroom was dirty and the cleaning materials were next to the table of dishes.
If you are samgupsal lover you must try this one.It is not just samgyupsal (pork and beefbut has japchae, gimbap, chicken (they offer two flavored chicken), and tempura. Their kimchi is not that spicy but youll definitely enjoy it.
There were alot of side dishes to choose from. Wide selection of meat and seafood. 350 pesos per pax is a good price. But they lack points when it comes to ventilation and the attentiveness of their staff is quite annoying.
Food was amazing, couldnt be better. Very low prices. The place lacks general cleanliness though.
The self-service style is great. A good selection on meat choices and a lot of side dishes to choose from. For 350 a head its a steal! Only setback is the overall cleanliness of the floor which has been mentioned by other reviews.
Cheap, all you can eat korean grill. Focus on the self-served part, the side dishes included are not so great. The ala carte menu is great, however.
The food is good, but their staff that time when we went there were new I guess? cos they seem to be a little lost ( there were only 2 "competent" ones)-orders were super late (took 4 follow-ups)-one server was rude( "nakapila kasi sa kitchen hintayn lng po" [rude tono]---- (well manong mas nauna kmi sa mga yan (kakarating na customers), sila anjan na yung order kmi wala pa, pila ka jan. [didnt say out loud])It was alright though. All in all.Good luck
Awesome food :DI highly recommend this place when you need to feed a large group of people because of the very filling buffet ^u^Want something else than self cooked pork/beef strips wrapped in lettuce? There are many other dishes that are in the menu! Including some Japanese stuff! :DThey also have very tasty water OuOAlthough for the ambience, it is tolerable (exposed ceiling showing vents :Punlike before where it was very homey...
Sadly the space is limited now as compared to before but the food is still delicious. I recommend their omurice as it is very tasty and delicious.I once tried their seafood ramen and the serving was really big. Not sure though if they still have it.Staff is really friendly.
Good food, reasonable price, just the place doesnt really look good. The location is very convenient. Center of the town.
Good food at very reasonable prices! place gets too toasty at certain times of the day though especially when the place gets packed.
Hindi pa kami nakakaorder may free food na 😊 staff is very attentive and moves efficiently, never missing a table. Food is good and non-buffet meals are too much for one person. Now wonder theyre always full
Servings are big, great for small group of friends. Place come of cramped though
The place was good but it only served sushi as its japanese course in the buffet.
The dood is abundant. Only that the tempura is order basis and it only arrives when we are nearly done. The kitchen or tge dish washing area is not pleasant to see.
The food is good, especially their kimchi and beef. The staff are really attentive. My only problem is the cleanliness of the plates and utensils. Some might also experience an issue with the ventilation of the restaurant.
This place provides you with an introduction of what Korean and Japanese cuisines are. After dining here, you now have an idea what flavor are you looking for in a Korean or a Japanese dish, or at least youd already guess what condiments make the dish your taste or how to eat it. The picture on their menu though are far different from what they actually serve. All their meals are reasonably priced, especially if your go for the buffet.
Buffet ❤ You can enjoy variety of food here. From chicken, beef, pork, seafood and vegetables. You can really eat all you can here. The side dishes are really delicious.
Unli samgyeopsal, self service, i mean, youre the one who will get the things you want to cook from their table,Good for groups
Affordable buffet here in Baguio City. The side dishes really taste good. Choices of meats are wide. Authentic taste of korean food.
Its an average korean/Japanese restaurant...I think theyve changed name from Hodori Japanese Restaurant to just Hodori that offers korean cuisine (sarcasm)as they failed to provide sashimi or sushi. Ive tried their ala carte and eat-all-you-can. Dont expect to have authentic Japanese dishes on both. I was given hope of eating fish when they said California tuna rolls were available. To my dismay, the rolls were filled with canned tuna:( To make matters worse, I havent received a single smile or greeting from any of the staffs...not even a single "thank you"...haha charot...arte lng gnun...haha so 3 stars...
Staffs were accommodating and serve quickly. Food is good and servings are big. Ideal for group. The buffet option is cheap but really, you get to eat all you can
The food is great but the place is too small. Also poor ventilation.
Food is good for the price. Need to improve on the hygiene of comfort rooms and kitchen.
Self-service unlimited!Meats are very delicious!Staff is friendly and smiling :)Totally worth it.Looking forward to next time when i visit Baguio. Will eat here right away!😂There is an Asian dude, i dont know if hes the owner, but he looks cool :)
Good food, unlimited side dishes. Management needs to add waitstaff though, takes a while to place an order and get service while dining.
Good food, side dish is unlimited... so only from it you are already going to be full. But my problem now with Hodori is the cleanlines of how they handle the food
The place can be tricky to find as it is located on the 5th floor, there is an elevator. The food is great, with an eat-all-you can rate at Php350 which is affordable considering the choices to fill your plate and cook with in the pan. The place is packed with people when we went. Considering this, their crew are still on point, at first. We were having fun cooking, when we were notified to turn off our stove, we had to wait long before the gas was fixed. We were ignored for a while, the issue was resolved after 30 mins or so. Still with this experience, Id eat here again.
Worst Korean restaurant Ive ever been.. Ang gulo gulo... Not organized... Ang tagal dumating ng orders.. Yung mga plato hindi ko alam kung malinis o marumi kasi basa! Buffet is not presentable. Some waitresses arent accomodating at nakasimangot! Having a lot of guests/customers is not a valid reason for bad service! If you cant handle large number of customers then you should have made a smaller restaurant! Not worth the money!!!Great job to one waiter and one waitress who smiles while talking with customers and makes sure that our orders were delivered...
Unli food. Healthy veggies. Korean Oppa feels. On top of a good staff and strategic location.
Very affordable food. The food that youll cook tasted fresh and the ones they prepare for you tastes good too. They have buffet and ala carte orders. Toilet needs improvement tho.
besides the oh so "sulit" yummy food you ordered they give you sides! you can even ask for them to refill those sides!! (you must try their marbled potatos! heavenly [and free])
