Such a cool place to take my kids to learn. They provided 2 scavenger hunts to encourage the kids to actually look and learn. Sam was very kind and helpful.

Nice little history museum. We walked through while we waited for the "Hells half mile walking tour" to begin. The tour was great fun and informative. I highly recommend it!

This is an excellent place to spend a couple of hours if you are curious about the history of Bay City. There are a lot of cool pieces and articles describing the interesting and sometimes sordid stories of the lumbering days. You can also look up the history of your home and how it may have changed over time.

Parking is plenty, it was very easy to find from the main roadway. Here to pick up a family member from an art class temporarily held here, everyone was very friendly and helpful in getting me in and leaving safely, with a smile on my face.

Great museum with a very complete history of the Bay City area. There are lots of artifacts from the history of Bay City. There were no people there when we visited, it was great, no crowds, just a place for history buffs.

Bay City has an impressive and rich history. From lumber barons to a waterfront amusement park to more movie theaters than you can imagine, Bay City had and still has it all. Love this town.

This museum gives a detailed history of the area. They have done some excellent research. There is so much to read and learn it would be lovely to make multiple visits. The museum is free, donations are appreciated, but no obligation. There is a nice gift shop with a helpful staff. As much as we enjoyed the museum, it probably would not be interesting for young children.
