Historic Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo

One of the most beautiful cemeteries we have ever visited. You can tell as you drive through the location that it was designed to have that "park" type of architecture. Full blog post and video on our block site.

The cemetary itself is an absolutely beautiful place to visit. It has lush green grass, tons of foliage, and people-friendly wildlife. However, I gave this place a ONE STAR because of the absolute disrespect for the deceased. Many of the tomb stones were overturned or misplaced, several of the grave markers were starting to sink into the ground or/and the ground around the marker was beginning to grow over the marker. Also, to top it all off there were very distinct tire tracks where someone had blatantly ran over several of the grave stones. The caretaker doesnt seem to care what happens to the grave stones and it was a complete disgrace to see how ill kept the entire cemetary was.

Outside of the place its self 😌 i recently went to pay respect to my love ones when I got stuck in a ice patch that wasnt properly clear not tripping on that but its when I called the office ,and Jan-jin- picks up and say they cant not and will not help, Me and my kids out...where there too see they great grandmother who birthday it was but she told me they can not let me use a shovel the disrespect of them half of my family laying to rest there but there no Courtesy for us idk if its because im black or not but I dont think if I was white i would have had that problem especially after she hung up the phone so said they dont respect the ppl who pays them

Beautiful, historic cemetery. I enjoy taking quiet walks and bike rides thanks to all the natural beauty.

Went to order a headstone, Jennifer was extremely rude! Made me wish I couldve took business elsewhere... On the flipside Will made things smooth and simple.

Great place to walk in nature..our puppies love it.

Beautiful cemetery. Full of Pokestops which is why we go there but there is a lot of awesome scenery throughout and its always heavily populated from people riding the bike trail and lots of other people playing Pokemon Go. I think its pretty cool that something like that can bring others in to really appreciate the beauty of this place.

This cemetary is a beautiful resting place for deceased love ones as well as a monument for those who have contributed to Toledos history and legacy.

Beautiful scenery and is always kept up. Want this to be my final resting place. Everyone I love is here

Full of notable burials. From a Titanic victim to a hall of fame baseball player.

I really like just driving through here. The scenery and the landscaping is really nice. Aside from the morbid thought of death looming over everything. If you can get past that though its actually a very nice looking place.

My grandparents has been here for over 20 years and havent had a single complaint about it!No, seriously - Woodlawn is lovely, and neatly-kept. A very nice cemetery.
