A medieval network of vaulted subterranean tunnels, wells & storehouses, accessible by guided tour.
nice poace, we were 1 hour underground and get some quite interesting information about Pilsen city centre - it is worth to visit this place 👍🏻
Werent allowed in cuz we didnt speak czech that well
Awesome!
Ok
+ safety (helmets)+ guided tour+ history+ artisans expositions as a part of the tour+ free beer coupon usable in few Pilsen restaurants with each ticket
Must do a short but interesting place to visit and you get a beer voucher for the restaurant next door. 💥💯👍
Not bad
Must visit and do the whole tour. It is worth it.
Underground is rather modern as for medieval cellars but it was still an interesting trip
Very interesting and a must when visiting tPilsen as this is one of the key historical venues in the city. We really enjoyed the guided tour which are available in Czech, German and English languages.
We loved it :very interesting tour, nice guide who told us a lot about the history of the city, definitely for people interested in history, we really enjoyed it.
Nice experience. The tour isnt very long but the explanation is good.
I had such a wonderful tour guide (in English). He made the tour so amazing and well worth it. Would recommend to everyone!
Quite interesting and definitely worth for the price😊
Here is a time table, especially important for non-cz people
Awesome place. However, the guidance was very boring.
It was very fun, I went her with some of my mate of Erasmus. The tour worth it but mind that there is just one tour in English per day. The guide was kind and gentle, and totally exhaustive in the explanation. At the end of the tour you will got a beer included with you tikect!
Cool thing to do in Pilsen, not amazing but worth the time and money
Interesting excursion to Pilsen underground. Worth seeing if you dont have claustrophobia.
Tour is really great. If you are in Plzen you should visit this place. Tour is also in english.
Don’t do it if you are taller than 1,80. It gets quite annoying. There is nothing special about the underground passages... they have put along the way some random artifacts and old things related to the history of the city.I felt we lost our time going there
Very interesting English tour of Pilsen underground. My guide was funny and enthusiastic. I dont remember his name. Basically a guy wearing glasses. Good job!
Offers interesting tour and a beer voucher for decent prices. Plus you learn a thing or two about Pilsen.A bit of discomfort for high people.
Very very is satisfied ,because was there perfectly and everythink like me! The Undergraund Should everyone to vizit for own please!
- Interesting place that carries a lot of history.- They ask you to download an app; did not find that very useful.- The coupon for drink was really interesting. I told them I did not drink, so they stated that I could have a non-alcoholic beer.- Ticket is cheap and really tells you a lot about Pilsen and the Czech culture as a whole.
Interesting tour. Although some clarity and chronology of the events was missing in what the guide was saying.
Its good for killing time between the first and the second beer. Check the beer museum.
This was a very informative tour of what happened during WWII in the Czech Republic.
Great young guide with very good English and an interesting story about Pilsen history
Nice history lesson, definitely worth visiting!
Well organized with own app as a guide! Ticket includes a mug of a quite good beer in their restaurant. Later we discovered that this restaurant is one of the best in the town. Indeed it was good!
Terribly boring and way too much restaured in a way that doesnt fit the underground...
VERY interesting! Learned a lot about the life in Middle Ages. Guide was nice and knowledgeable. Hard hats are definitely needed, and not only for tall men. Highly recommended! I am not giving a 5 only because wee weren’t able to see the entire route due to “technical difficulties”. It would have also been nice if the free beer could’ve been redeemed right there instead of getting vouchers to nearby pubs. Overall, our highlight of Plzen!
Beautiful place ♥️ a lot.
Good trip experience, especially when the guide is good. For guide to be good, just dont show any prejudice.
good experience, interesting story and artifacts, can also visit beer museum
If you want to know more about the history of Plzen, take the tour for a very different perspective on this city. For tall people: mind your head!
Good but you cant visit without taking the tour.
Only guided tours. English and Czech, depending on the hour. Other languages on headsets available. We expected more from this tour. I had hoped to see more historic/old environment (like the historic underground in the castle of Brussels), but it are clean, well maintained connected cellars. Unfortunately, the guide rushed through the cellars, so we couldt always completely hear the story on the headphone. Still its an amazing grid that people created in that time.
Very interesting museum - English tour was only once the day we visited in May the day before Liberation Day celebration which seemed odd but we toured on our own in the brewery.Really cool displays of how Pilsen came about and how the town grew- free .3l beer at participating restaurants with your ticket
Thought it very interesting, did the tour in English our guide was Josef he was very informative a really good way to spend an hour, if youre doing the brewery tour add this.
Interesting tour, good price and included a free beer as well.
Good way to spend an hour and see part of the undergoing tunnel system of Plzen. It is well preserved and of a good size but the exhibits are boring. Tour guide was entertaining, my tour was in English.
Very interesting tour of the city. Buy online with the museum and brewery tour to save 25 percent. Worth doing for sure.
For a first timer its is good but always visit this place before brewary to actually enjoy or else this would be of no interest post brewary
Nice tour in the underground tunnels of pilzen. The tour is about an hour long, the guide was excellent and the kids enjoyed it very much
I was excited for it, but I have to say that once I got there it was mildly underwhelming. You cannot wander around as you want to and have to keep close to a tour guide. That was truly annoying as the tour guide went at a slow speed and kept saying useless details about the underground. The tour ended up taking an hour and I have to say that this felt like time that couldve been spent better. We also were restricted to which parts of the underground we could go to. At the same time, it was an interesting place to see. The walls shined with history and it was fascinated to think of the significance and and age of these simply looking tunnels. I might visit it if I went to Pilsen again, but I would definitely think twice about it.
Nice little insight about the medival history of Pilsen. Original objects and copies of those are displayed in the tunnels.
Nice little museum, will help you get to know the history of Pilsner!
Very good insight into mediaeval life in Plzen. Interesting tour in underground Plzen, previously used for cooling beer and hiding during sieges.
