Hisaya Odori Park in Nagoya

Very beautiful and great ambience to relax. Must visit around evening for great experience.

Landmark of Nagoya. They beautified the park very well. Very relaxing and so many spots to sit on and for taking photos. There are also so many shops and stores!

Love the Parisian aspect of the area. Perfect if you just like to go for a nice easy walk, or want an easy meal in the sun.

Nice new park in the heart of the city. Would be nice if it had more cafes

Its a bit of greenery in a large city. Theres a shopping mall below it with easy access to subway trains. Apparently the lawns get used for small events from time to time.

Great place to spend the evening. There are some restuarants and coffee shops around the park area.

The place is so beautiful. Lots of people walk around. Also lots of shops and restos from different countries. Good to visit during weekends and holidays. Youll also see some group of people wearing their kimonos and yukatas. Plus the entrance fee to the sky tower view deck is also cheap (costs around 900 Yen).

Best to hang around at night since you can see all the lights from the tower and very distinct vibes from the shops around.

. this tower reminds me Sapporo tv tower.It was good to take a walk here, not really busy during night.

Overall nice experience. One of the popular landmark of Nagoya. You can visit the Nagoya tower and Oasis in one go. Park is clean, wide green grass area where you can lay around, drinking or just enjoy the view. Variety of cafe and restaurant, also fashion boutique complement the area.

Newly renovated (2021 finishpark in the center of Nagoya. Very good in all seasons. Best in summer for sitting on the grass (yes it is allowed and encouragedand eating and drinking with friends.

This is a really awesome place, with excellent restaurants, cafes and brand stores. At night you can enjoy sight seeing the Mirai Tower for good photo shooting and enjoying the environment.

Very pleasant par where you can take a walk, lie on the lawn, and have a nice meal. Not really a fan of all the international brand stores.

Great place to hangout. Renovated park with a lot of trendy cafes and restaurants. The large water fountain, the empty space and the line of restaurants and bars make me feel that I am on a Thai beach! The trendy transformation of Hisayaodori park definitely deserves a huge applause. I mentioned bars - dont miss The Hub under the tower.

Love this place so much after the renovation!

After renewal it is fully revitalized, with nice shops, cafes and restaurants. The TV tower had a big upgrade with the weather mirror in the front and all the open areas for General purposes there.Great place for a walk and dining for all ages.

Very nice area. They renovated everything about this park. Very clean and beautiful. The stores and restaurants are a little expensive but you can have a nice picnic too in some parts. Great place to walk around while waiting.

A good place to be relax in a busy city. Here there are many restaurants, dinning bars and shopping 🛍 stores with expensive price 😉Also you can easily approach to the subway Higashiyama line through this park.You can enter this park in 24 hours free.but I think stores close after 10 pm except bars and restaurants. There are no smoking area in this park 🚭A smile for your tired day 🙂

Recently renovated and upgraded. New shops and restaurants. The commercial parts are a bit overboard, but the open grass areas are great for events.

It is quite crowded on holidays but it really worth to visit. there are lot of branded shops and cafes to chill.

It has been transformed into a user-friendly space to walk around especially towards the end thats further up from where most restaurants and shops are located.

A nice place but too many people for now

Extremely nice park with plenty of good restaurants and some cool stores. In some of the restaurants its possible to have a sit outside with your dog, which is really good now that the weather is fine. They did an excellent job by renewing it. Well definitely go back there many times.

The redevelopment has built stores, clean ponds, and parks for exercise and play. It is expected to be convenient.

The park was laid out after the devastation of World War II by the mayor of Nagoya, in order to create green space in the middle of the city. It acts as a central park within the downtown area and has over the years been laid out with many trees, water fountains and works of modern art such as sculptures and other installations. The park is around 2 km long and stretches roughly from north to south.Nagoya TV Tower is located in the middle of the park.The park is also the venue of the annual Nagoya Festival, which attracts many visitors.

Best for couple.You will enjoy the romantic theme and music and everything going and you will feel the unforgettable moment.

Got a hotel near here because wanted to be by green space, however the entire park appears to be ripped out right now. Its all closed off. 😭 Very sad about it!!!

Its a nice park for the kids to run around.

Theres not much to do here other than relax from the craziness that can be Sakae. When a festival or other happening is going on in the park, this is usually an extension of it and feels quite crowded.
