I visited this place with my friends in Feb of 2021. It was kind of scary yet beautiful. The area was totally deserted with not a single person in sight at all aside from us.The place was unkept and the nature was taking back its claim. It was eerily quiet yet loud at the same time with nature noises of insects, birds, and even the wild monkeys. We didnt see monkeys up close though but we saw a couple of them on the dense canopies.Being there in that state was a better experience in my opinion. It was as natural as it can be.
Relaxing place, where you can just sit and relax. Also you can enjoy playing and feeding with the monkeys. This place has a zipline where you can leave your stress and be free from any troubles that bothers your inner self. The people here were good in accomodating their visitors.
You really feel the nature. Monkeys here are friendly. Still needs some development especially the facilities, but the place is worthy to be visited.
Perfect destination for nature and wildlife-lovers. The wild monkeys really are entertaining.
It was fun to interact with the monkeys..just a tip dont bring too much plastic as they will snatch it. ๐๐๐
Zipline from the top of the mountain for only a few hundred pesos. Itโs about a 30-45 second ride. Great fun and a good hike to get up. Beautiful caves that were said to be a hideout for Japanese soldiers. Depending on what youโre interested in you can also get a guide to show you the monkeys - although they say they are wild they also seemed very trained.
I really loved to see the wild monkeys in the nature. Would recommend to anyone who loves animals.
Facinating
It is a small industry for the people in the area. That being said you should be fit and not suffer from heart problems or back problems if you do forget it. It is a very harderous climb many many steps plus the gradient I would estimate at 50ยฐ to 60ยฐ.
Advisable to be in the area in the afternoon where the families of monkey welcome you, and while treking going up to the cave you will experiencing the breeze air and a beautiful view.Up in the cave aside of the stone formation in the cave wall it self ther are also a bat friends inside the caves. There also have a tourist guide for your convenient who can help you for the history myths and fact of the mountain.
The monkeys are nice to see and feed them bananas. But if you are old and suffer from heart problems I suggest you stay at the bottom and look at the few shops there. The climb up to the cave is horrendous.
Follow the guide instructions, and take some bananas. The guide will take them and use when needed. You can get a monkey on your shoulder. After that there are some caves with bats and in the other direction a zip line to take you back down if you dont want to face the stairs.
Close encounter with bunch of monkeys in their natural habitat. They are on shift. All you have to do is bring some bananas for feeding. In some tourist spots, this is not allowed. In Hindang, it is allowed, provided you have to do it with the local guides around. They happen to be the monkeys trainers as well. The nearby caves are fantastic too.
Nice place to visit. The caves themselves are not that much of an image if you have visited caves in other countries before. The meeting with the wild monkeys is worth the effort. The zipline is really worth it. 120 meters long over the trees. In about 45 seconds you will be down where you will be brought back to the parking with the motorcycle. Zipline cost 200 pesos each and the entrance will cost you 20 pesos.
The ride to getting there on a motorcycle with four people on it, was already the first adventure, not dangerous, but a little uncomfortable. We were there on a Wednesday and were the only ones there. We went up without a guide. That was not a good idea because the monkeys came very close to us. They look cute, but an attempt to touch one would almost go awry. They become aggressive very quickly. The climb on a concrete path and concrete stairs could have been made more natural, but it was still very exhausting at 38 degrees heat. When we arrived at the First Caves, this great effort was quickly forgotten. The view was fantastic and the caves with their little hiding places was a very nice experience. You should also bring enough drinking water. All in all it was another very interesting and nice trip that you should not miss when traveling in this region.
Attractive natures park preserved with wild monkeys animal colony with unfortunate ongoing modern construction work on the site. Apparat from the entrance fee, guide, parking and water supply all in control and not overly expensive you will have a blast with monkeys jumping from the trees
its so refreshingv
We L๐vE Hindang. Wow!kaau dinhi.๐๐๐
Love the monkeys met my cousins
Surprisingly good here.. The caves have hidden locations, the guide can show you. Lots of wildlife, monkey are cool for picture or two. But I enjoyed the view , nature and caves more.It is steep hike, but worth it.
Great experience but walk is a little steep for the less mobile. Best to go early before it get too hot.
GREAT ADVENTURE! VISIT NOW!
Low entrance fee
Cool place for an adventure. Great experience to interact with cute monkeys. Also has kind tour guides.Beautiful and mesmerizing caves. Hopefully their zipline will open this summer.Over-all memorable and worthy trip going there!#chillpill ๐ฟ
There are 3 main caves that are very fascinating, and 5 troops of monkeys all in all (Macaca fascicularis philippinensis). The tour guides are great and informative cuz theyre really knowledgeable when it comes to the monkeys. Infact, theyve given specific names to some of them. The monkeys are safe to mingle with as long as you dont act improper. The place is clean and tourist friendly. The path is quite steep but it adds little bit of challenge. The place can be accessed through motorcycle from the national road.Ps. Dont bring any thing thats valuable.Entance fee: 20php/per head.
It was fun seeing those monkeys and caves. Very mesmerizing.
10kms from inopacan where cuatro islas is located, you can visit a humble but thrilling park ๐บit is thrilling because there are wild group of monkeys in the park. So, before getting in to the park, i suggest to get a tourist guide or much preferably get the monkeys caretaker! His name is loloy! ๐ฆธ๐ผโโ๏ธ He can call the monkeys and take picture with you. He gives his service without any amount in return. But ofcourse, give him any amount you can!Inside the park, you san see various caves and rock formations which is perfect for picture taking! ๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธthey also have a zipline ๐ขlastly, at the entrance gate... there are souvenier shop ๐
Would have been a really nice place to hike and visit and feel the nature if only the trail wasnt made into concrete because it takes the complete feeling of being one with nature off the experience. The concrete trail wasnt artfully made, and even the resting area was made into concrete, its just sad and disappointing. But not to put off its good points, there are lots of silly monkeys there, and theres this huge cave housed by bats where you can go in but be sure to wear closed footwear because the floors filled with bat droppings and it also really stinks.
i love it its a nice place the natural nature
Amazing...
Lots of monkeys and cave full of bats.
Be prepared to enjoy nature and interact with monkeys. You can feed them under the watchful eyes of your guide. You can see caves with stalagmites and stalactites and go inside if you want to. There is a zipline that you can try that will whiz you through the rainforest and on the other end somebody will drive you on a motorcycle back to the entrance/exit of the park. I totally enjoyed this experience and will be back for more to explore the caves further. A headlamp wont hurt if you have one.
