Excellent indian and hakka food..Chai tea is amazing
Great food at a good price for the dinning experience. The paneer combo and lamb rogan josh was money well spent.
MoreA simple place with excellent food. Service with a smile. And not overly expensive. Worth the time and the effort to visit if youre driving beyond the lighthouse.
MoreAlways delicious food! Maybe the best in TT
I had the chicken tikka masala and basmati rice. It was very delicious and well priced. Would visit again.
MoreSuperb food and an extensive menu. Those who are looking for a break from typical Trini chinese food should try Himchulis.Definitely going back to try the other dishes!
MoreNic food. Biryani very good taste
Excellent food! Customer service is friendly and helpful! Had their Thai shrimp in green curry and their chicken in green curry....definitely value for money and a wonderful surprise....call ahead to save some time because Indian and Thai arent really the definition of fast food, but its totally worth it. Bought some shrimp wontons for coworkers and they loved it. It was quite a favorite. Will definitely be back soon to try other menu items....
MoreOk ok taste but good menu
Food is still great, small dine in area to have lunch
Food was absolutely delicious!!
Good variety of delicious dishes at a reasonable price.
Depending on where you are seated it may be more comfortable than other places. The food was good. The parking area was small though.
MoreLittle bit dissatisfied from the taste I had 3 to four years ago. It used to be moist . Now it was very dry and it looked like the rice was stale
MoreThe food is super tasty and doesnt take long to be prepared.
Excellent service and food..particularly loved the Thai and Indian options
Great green Thai curry, and the coconut barfi is simply to die for. Service a little cool in my opinion but cant complain about da food!!!!
MoreBeen going every Restaurant week for the past 3 years. Never a disappointment.
As part of restaurant week 2021, today I ordered the special for seven people. Last year, I ordered the same special at least five times during restaurant week (and loved itso I was thrilled to be back. This year, regrettably, the food was totally not up to par. The nan was heavy with oil, and a bit stiff. The chicken seriously lacked flavor and tasted bland. The channa had a good consistency, but was flavorless. The dhal seem to be missing flavor also. I’m not sure but maybe they forgot to add salt, and other spices. Adding pepper sauce, and some salt was able to improve the meal for the four of us, but still nowhere near the quality of last year. The vegetable soup tasted the same as last year and so too were the vegetable wontons (great). The sweets were also good. However the actual food was incredibly disappointing compared to the quality from last year. There was a distinct lack of flavor, spice, and, overall tastiness.
MoreGreat food great service can complain ,its just sad the in house dining is not available with covid because they had a nice setting
MoreI tried to not be favourable and judged them on mutiple visits, dining in and even take out. I hoped to get something bad to say but i cant, there service is amazing, food, price, dessert, options, takeout, time to prepare food and even dining facilities. I continue to dine here and i am a dedicated customer.Yes my opinion wouldnt be others but my opinion was formed from multiple visits and trying a variety of foods that they offer.
MoreWhat I like about this outlet is the excellent food and yet a simple looking establishment. The food is world class.
MoreFood flavour is excellent....i am a green curry thai fan.... the chicken green curry however it is more like a vegetable green curry as it seriously lacks chicken!
MoreExtremely tasty food. Authentic and great quality.
O gosh. I love going to this restaurant. Its inconspicuous, cozy, soft ambience. My wife cant get enough. We go here when we want to celebrate. Himchuli is truly nice🙂
MoreDelicious food great customer service and most importantly value for your money
Great food!!!!Good variety on the menu.Short preparation time.Very casual settings, but food definitely worth a regular spot in your eat out rotation.
MoreExcellent food. I tried things Id never heard of and enjoyed every bite of them. The place is a bit small so call ahead if you intend to dine in with a sizeable group.
MoreGood service. Good food. Reasonably priced. Would be nice if the vegetarian combo i tried could include more than two items though.
MoreFood is always fresh and prices are good. Service can be a little slow for dine in but the staff is very pleasant.
MoreHumble restaurant, take away available. A lot of food options for each type of food catered (Thai, Hakka, Indian, Nepali). More Vegetarian options than most places. Food is tasty and affordable. Parking can be a little iffy if its busy.
MoreHumble seating and ambiance. The food doesnt seem fully authentic, BUT it certainly is delicious. Not the truest Indian/Thia experience but the enjoyment is to be had nonetheless.
MoreVery unexpected I must say. I was plesently wowed by the quality of food at this establishment. Great price point also. A must try!!!!
MoreSetting was nice. Romantically lit. Food tasted good. There is a bit of a wait time. Recommended if you want to try Hakka, Thai, Indian.
MoreI like their food. You can get traditional Indian and thai style food.
Great food. Affordable price. Everything tasted amazing.
Professional service, nice ambiance and good food.
Doesnt look like much at first but they have good service. Then they brought the food this is where they really shine it was a out of this world with flavors and spices that were just. PERFECT!!!
MoreThe atmosphere is very cozy. The food is delicious and there are a wide array of vegetarian delicacies to choose from. The food is also provided in a timely manner.
MoreToday is the first time I had eaten traditional Indian food in Trinidad. My wife is Indian and she knows I love Indian food and we heard about this restaurant from someone and we said we’d tried their food as we have eaten Indian cuisine in St Kitts and Nevis, St Marteen and in the Bahamas and I must admit that the food here was remarkably delicious. Definitely will see us again when I come back to Trinidad on vacation.
MoreMostly 4 stars because of tasty food and security cameras.Prices are just above what youd expect. Service is reasonable. Combo menu not included in dining menu, you have to ask.
MoreGreat food. Service is excellent. Price is good. Parking is not the best at their current location.
MoreA simple but delightful family restaurant. Reasonably priced, and small, for an intimate sort of ambience. Very easy to find as well. Their masala chai tea is to die for. Would definitely recommend for a casual dinner among a small group of friends.
MoreThis place is by no means fancy and clearly not the establishment you go to for a romantic dinner. There is limited parking and the location is less than ideal.Having said all that, the food is excellent! The service is friendly and you dont have to wait too long for your order given the type of food they serve. They cater and you can view their menu online and order in advance. It is a great place for a work lunch. I recommend you try them out.
MoreGreat food. Made to order. Opened till late. Cash/credit/debit accepted. Dine in/take away/call in orders. Very clean. Big menu. Varied items. (Vegan option available)
MoreFriendly service, cozy ambience and superb flavours, all at an extremely reasonable price point, ensure a dining experience that is both enjoyable and satisfying.
MoreFood prepared differently to Trinidads traditional indian spices; chillies, coconut milk, sweet and spicy. Caters for vegetarians also, having choices from appetizers to desserts for every taste bud. A range of sweet desserts makes your mouth water! A quaint dining experience I recommend anyone loving food from a different part of the world, right here in El Socorro, Trinidad.
MoreAmazing Indian Food!Food wise, I think this is one of the top 3 Indian restaurants in Trinidad. The Lamb Biryani here is even better than most of the more expensive restaurants. The paneer here is really good quality unlike the generic frozen paneer that you get at most places. The desserts here are really good especially the Rasmalai and Jelebi. Though the kulfi was one of the worst that I’ve tasted. The restaurant itself is unimpressive, decor is underwhelming. I don’t particularly like the smell of the restaurant, “cheap soap” is the only way I can describe it. The parking lot is sloped forward which makes it tricky to reverse onto the road when it’s busy.Because of the slope, there is a step up to enter the store and step down immediately after, makes it difficult to enter sometimes if cars are parked close to the door. The mat inside the restaurant upon step down is a studded rubber mat which makes you feel unbalanced.Though the restaurant itself is lacking, the food is worthy of a 5 star review.Biryani, masala and dessert they’re all very well made. The taste has been inconsistent over the last 3 months but it’s always good and I can’t say that I didn’t get my money’s worth.
MoreExcellent authentic Indian, Nepalise, Thai and Hakka food! Taste is delicious. Deserts are very tasty and different to the everyday common stuff. This has to be the best tasting authentic food I have had.
MoreLovely people, nice and casual dining with 5 star meals. Flavour town! Some of the best and rich dishes. Always go and always love it more and more!
