No. 88號, Minquan Road, Banqiao District, New Taipei City, Taiwan 220, Taipei
Set in a high-rise tower, this plush hotel is a 3-minute walk from Banqiao Station. It's a 14-minute walk from the popular food stalls of the Nanya Night Market and 5 km from the 18th-century Lungshan Temple.Polished rooms provide flat-screen TVs and minifridges, plus Wi-Fi access and city views. Upgraded rooms add free breakfast and access to a members' lounge with a terrace. Suites have separate living areas with coffeemakers and high-end speaker systems.Parking is free. Other amenities include a high-end restaurant, a seafood eatery and a casual lobby bar, as well as a gym and an outdoor pool. Meeting space is available.
Just realized I had written a complaint 9 months ago and had to do it again! Being a Diamond member I feel like dirt here even though I boked 2 rooms for 2 nights using points, no upgrades fine but at least greet/treat Diamond members with a little courtesy. I can understand upgrades are based on availability but trying to make up reason for not able to upgrade me was a bogus and unappreciated. Clean cozy hotel with excellent restaurants for sure but the check-in staff really needs better training. Again this is the 2nd time complaining and hope it gets notice because the training is definitely a problem at this hotel. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL for its service but hotel and amenities are great.
This is one of the four Hilton branches in Taiwan, and its also the affordable one. Located in the busy Banqiao area, its pretty close to MRT/THSR/TRA station, where you can easily access greater Taipei in minutes. Even for a downtown hotel like Sinban, it still has a decent rooftop swimming pool for you to enjoy the skyline view from there. The room itself was spacious and tidy. All of the facilities in the room and the bathroom itself were well-maintained and clean. The bed was large and amazingly comfortable. As for the rooftop swimming pool, its not really large enough to accommodate many swimmers since its been shared between two hotels. Nevertheless, you can still enjoy casual time here on the rooftop, and order a drink at a nearby bar.The breakfast dining experience we believe was somehow the least enjoyable here. Considering its a five-star internationally renowned hotel branch, the food provided here didnt meet the expected standard. The dishes were not diverse enough and many dishes also lacked decent flavors. Moreover, there were only two service personnel around and cant afford to handle numerous customer requests at the same time. Dishes were not replenished in time as well.We were offered a complimentary breakfast and had a comfortable stay here but would really hope that the management can take some further actions on dining service and the food preparation.
Do not fall for Hilton Market Place promotion ads. We call many times to reserve a space for lunch. The phone was busy all the time. We just went to Market Place and they said the phone was busy because they were sold out. They did not care to set a voice message. Total disregard to other peoples time. I expected more from a Hilton site. I get like scammed.
The absolute worst “5 star hotel” experience. I cannot believe we have to wait for more than 50 minutes to check in. We came here to relax. Not to get stressed out.We can always check in online in the US, but not in Taiwan. The staff said there is nothing they can do. The experience here is so much worse. THIS IS RIDICULOUS.
We got a room at 30 floor but the air conditioning was not working. We believe that it is because the floor on top of us is the gym and swimming pool. The reception brought the mechanics to come and check. The mechanic found out that we had set it at 18 degrees Celsius but the air coming out was 26 degrees Celsius. After that, the person sent to our room declined our request to change rooms and we had to call reception. Finally we were given a room at 7 floor and the men who took us here was very nice and thoughtful. This took us around 1 hours of our time making us not able todo anything since it was time for dinner.
Queue insane line for check-in, queue a half hour for a breakfast (!. The management knows max. capacity of hotel, knows the number of guests booked rooms. Is it a big deal to extend time of breakfast time or bring several extra tables? I do not think so. However they prefer to treat visitors this awful and disrespectful, forcing to queue for so long even if you arrive timely.
Awesome stay! Thanks for the birthday cake ❤️
Poor check-in service and extremely long waiting time
Booked a twin high floor room but with muddy water. Felt like the water was full of SOIL when brushing our teeth. Reported and changed a room, got a lower level room from 22 to 21F, still the plug in the bathtub was malfunctioning. At this moment we’re all EXHAUSTED, if we got a room with lowered floor level again, what is the meaning of HIGH FLOOR??Even so, still feel grateful to those mechanics who fixed the bathtub problem. I don’t think this issue was solved perfectly, but I believe there’s a room for them to make amendment.Perhaps worth a visit next time when they don’t have occasional maintenance or construction problem.
I gave all-five-stars in the 2000 review. However, in 2022 things changes a lot.The hotel provided mouthwash in the room, but it was just past tense. Hilton Honors Elite members used to have priority queue on checking-in, and dedicated seats for breakfast, these no longer exists.
Nice hotel with high cp value. The swimming pool is beautiful but a little small and crowded in summer. Bed and food are qualified as a 5 star hotel. Hope to visit it soon.
Excellent customer service! Convenient location, clean facility, and tasty meals.
The rooms are spacious , quiet and clean environment. Whenever I need service was quickly responded.
Room werent cleaned and ready at check-in time. Even by 10 PM the rooms had not been cleaned or ready for check-in.
A property with 400 keys wouldn’t allow a gold member ask for late checkout. As a former employee, this five star is for you to remember what SALT means.
Absolute wonderful stay. Staff was completely accomodating. The place was pristine and the amenities were definitely worth it. It was disappointing that we werent informed that the breakfast buffet was changed to ordering from a much more limited menu due to covid but the room service was delicious. Location is very convenient to the bus stop and metro. 10/10 would stay again.
Best hotel in Taipei with affordable rate. Staff response was too friendly. Gym was too good. Well located to metro station. Room was clean and good.
It was an interesting layout of this hotel. It pretty much connected together with another hotel. The staff was very attentive. He saw us looking for the wedding banquet hall and came over to offer assistance and personally walked us there. (We had to walk out of the hotel lobby to get to the Convention/ banquet hall.Standard wedding banquet food with pretty good service.
One of my favorite hotels in Taipei. If you are a Hilton honors member you get access to the executive lounge like no other. The happy hour has a full dinner with wine and cocktails. The service is the best in Taipei. A 30 meter unheated pool is on the roof great for lap swimminis The rooms are large and clean with extra care for to the pandemic. Banqiao has a fun night market. There are three shopping malls in a 5 min walking distance. There is also a bus station and high speed train station with a 5 min walk. The only drawback is the cost. Check out their specials.
Great hotel with all the amenities. Love their exec lounge happy hour, very tasty food. Highly recommend it!
Very well located hotel near Banchiao station. Though one may consider stay on the ground to get to the hotel. The route getting by footbridge is not well planned, and you end up need to get in from the ground floor any way
Stayed Feb 12 -13.Hotel room cleanliness 5 starsFitness center 2 stars (yoga mat terrible dirty)swimming pool 3 stars, (no beverage services)receptionists 5 starsBuffet market flavor 3 stars
Although I have been a member for years, this is my first time stay in Hilton in Taiwan. The hotel is quite new and also clean. They put the sticker on the door and make sure the room is cleaned before you arrive.Staffs are very kind and friendly. they also offer free drink and welcome message for us.Hotel location is very convenient and the MRT /train station is just in 5 min walking. There are several shopping malls nearby and lots of nice restaurants to enjoy. This is a great hotel for either business or family stay.
Hotel location is great, being in the middle of several large department stores. Underground parking with plenty of parking spaces. Checking process was little slow and there was no waiting area for my family to wait at while i was inline to check in. Swimming pool is nice at the top of the building, however it is open door therefore it gets cold in winter and during rain.
Poor parking system(still using tokenand building design, and poor arrangement of footfalls! Elevator also waiting too long, e.g from B2 to 1F took us 25 minutes just from point a to b... think that how much of our time on this.Services in general is very good, no complaints. Instead, I feel sorry for them, they need to deal with lots of complaints, none of them can make those decision, only management team can change.
Guest rooms on xecutive floors offer access to the Lounge, which basically takes care of all your dining and beverage needs.
Nice location. It’s very close to MRT station and train station. The room is great and clean, also I love the brand-Crabtree & Evelyn, they use for shampoo, shower gel and those kind of stuffs. Most staffs have excellent service, I could definitely live here again if I visit Banciao.
We arrived in Taipei at around 9:30am. We didn’t expect to check in as we were 4.5 hours early for check in. We wanted to drop off our luggage and head out to the city. We were surprised that a room was ready for us, where we found a sweet personalized note. We also had access to the lounge, which had some great snacks for us. Great experience all around!
Nice and cozy hotel as one of my TOP choice across a wide range of choices in Taipei.Especially for Hilton member, this hotel and staff provides excellent service for an extraordinary experience for your trip.Love the place, worth the price for sure!
We cannot say enough positive things about this hotel and their fantastic staff. Not only are the amenities top notch, but the hospitality is first class. The staff at this hotel goes above and beyond to make your stay and experience beyond comfortable. We stayed here in July (10 daysand November (12 days- both for adoption trips. For both of our stays, we were upgraded to rooms with access to the Executive Lounge. For our November trip, we stayed in a premium suite, which gave us more than enough room for us and our new son.The gentlemen that work the conseigre are so good at their job. Their restaurant recommendations were spot on! They helped us order pizza and gave us things to do around the the city. Not only were they helpful, but they were so kind to us. They made a special effort to make a relationship with our newly adopted son. Our son hugged them before we left. The staff at the front desk are more than accommodating. They helped us book our room and were so friendly and kind to our son. They also took special interest in building a relationship with him too!The Executive Lounge has a wonderful array of breakfast options. Their nightly happy hour has awesome snack and drink options. What makes the lounge so great is the staff in there. (Are you seeing a theme here? The staff!!Their kindness, attentiveness, and generosity are first class. When they found out it was our son’s birthday, the cook and all the staff come out with special cupcake and sang to him. They offered him freshly squeezed watermelon juice daily and even provided some kid-friendly amenities for him to take back to the hotel. They made us feel special. On our way back home, we were not able to get on our flight due to some visa issues. We came back to the Hilton and were taken care of. We knew we could go back there to feel safe and supported. They helped us rebook a flight and offered us a spare room to rest while we got it all figured out. The staff from the lounge found out we were back and he made a special trip down to come say hello and make sure we were okay. Our rooms were clean and beautiful. The beds are super comfortable. The rooftop pool is amazing and the view is spectacular.Every single person that we came in contact with was positive and kind. Every bell hop, house cleaning staff, front desk employee, executive lounge employee, and consergie was friendly and accommodating. Spending 12 days in a foreign country can be intimating - but the Hilton Taipei Sinban made us feel at home. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the wonderful stay and experience.
Good point!!!All staff members were so kind and friendly.Although I booked 2 king size bed rooms for my family (wife and 3 kids), the hotel helped to upgrade to sweet room where both rooms were close each other. Rooms were so clean and enjoyed taking bath before shower. One thing I want to highlight is the hotel always missed out 1 set of amenity, towels, complementary bottle of water every day even though 3 people (my wife and 2 kidsstayed at a room.
Great hotel and great service in a nice area of New Taipei. Although the gym could use another couple treadmills, Ill give them a pass as everything is clean and top-notch. The Executive Lounge has a nice breakfast and happy hour drinks and foods.
One of the many advantages of the Hilton Sinban Hotel in Taipei is its location. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the subway, train station and THSR station called Banqiao. The numerous malls with all their food courts, restaurants and shops around are located near.At the entrance, polite staff always opens the door and welcomes you. Feeling as if you are returning home. The ground floor of the hotel is a spacious reception, bar, communication area and lobby. Everything looks very dignified and majestic.Review of grayramen blog
Stayed for 2 nights and it has been a great experience. The hotel location is very convenient, within walking distance to the Banqiao Station connecting to the MRT, Railway, High Speed Train and buses. Right behind is the Zhongshan Road, the center point for shopping, eating out, and entertainment, across the park is the Mega City. The roof top swimming pool is amazing, the gym opens 24 hours. Breakfast buffet is sumptuous! Room is very clean, the lighting can be switched to different scenarios, the toilet closet is separated from the bath. Room as a whole is a bit narrow but still spacious enough. The staff is excellent, very accommodating and helpful. Will definitely return if coming to Taipei.
Had a pleasant stay. Room is nice and clean. Facilities are comprehensive. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Rooftop pool is a bit disappointing as it’s way too crowded and not so clean. Hotel is conveniently located near train station. The area is pretty local and quiet at night. You can walk for around 1 km ish to the super local night market street.
People at the hotel are really great.Breakfast service is also excellent.Room is spacious with two separate sinks. No actual closet. A hanger at the entrance of the room. The location is good. Close to banqiao station.
Good hotel and one of the only Hilton hotel in Taiwan besides the DoubleTree. Friendly and very helpful staff. Good diamond recognition. Theres a lounge with good breakfast and dinner offerings. Rooms are well sized with comfortable bed. Good WiFi and room temperature control. Too bad that the pool is always so cold. Location is good, close to Banqiao station with connection to the MRT and High speed train.
Amazing beautiful hi-tech Hilton is back. One of the nicest Hilton I have been to.Great location with so many things/facilities around.Rooms are designed so thoughtfully, thank you for that and amazing toilet, perfect lighting and great ambience.Tried their breakfast buffet on 4th floor, variety of choices, could have been more internationally oriented for those international travelers who are not much into chinese/local food.Gym has good view along with swimming pool and whirlpool. Gym can be a lot better provided there is so much space for more basic equipments for compound movements like a squat rack with Olympia bar and chest press bench or something or some machines for this movement.Love this hotel otherwise. Enjoy your stay.
Quite excellent experience. For reference I have stayed at all the hotels in Taipei of the 3 largest international chains, as a top status elite member in all the chains.Hiltons top elite status is relatively easy to obtain compared to others. Yet Ive been impressed with their elite benefits. This was just a brief overnight stay. Elite benefits included upgrade to a suite room, lounge access, breakfast. The hotel has a very nice outdoor infinity pool with evening bar. A decent gym facility.Staff are friendly and professional.Location is convenient, just across from Banqiao main station which has MRT, HSR, and regular rail.
If you want a hotel that feels very new with the best customer service, I have ever experienced then stay at the Hilton Taipei Sinban. From the moment you walk in they treat you like you are very important and want to help you with anything you may need. It is close to the airport (TPEand worth the stay. We will be staying at this hotel again when we come back.
I had a bad experience in this Hotel and so far didn’t experience anything like that in any 5-star hotels. I got a bad service from the MOD who checked us in, no surprise to have the rest of their staff with bad services as well except the bellboys/girls.Guess that’s the management issues of this hotel, that’s why the staff are all trained to behave in the same way.Furthermore the hotel is so smelly in the lifts apparently, due to a sewerage issue. For the executive lounge service I have been to lounges with more guests and lesser staff but much better service. They served mojito without mint and lime, told me they don’t have enough ingredients.
We are so far two nights in to our five nights stay and so far this hotel has been great. The staff at the executive lounge are so nice and caring. We brought our twin girls not yet two years old and they have helped us a lot. Besides that, a nice pool (not heated thoughclean and spacious rooms, great breakfast (both in the lounge and on 3rd floor). Only thing you could wish for is a proper gym. 4.5 stars out of 5!UPDATE!After the full stay and checking out. I again like to give a big hug to the people in the executive lounge. The kindness and helpfulness they gave us. Especially taking so good care of the children.
Brand new hotel with very nice design, spacious room, and very hospitable staff. I was impressed the first time I stepped in this hotel with the staff. The customer service they showed is a outstanding. I stayed in many Hilton hotel and its group chains around the world but none of them is as impressive as this one. You’ll never left without anyone approaching you to offer their help or just simply greeting you with a warm smile from the point you stepped in until you stepped out of the hotel area. If other Hilton branch could do the same customer service will be amazing. The room ambiance makes you feel like you feel like staying in the proper 5 stars hotel. You can change the lighting theme in the room according to your need and preferences. An automatic window curtain also gives an expensive feels of the room. Not to mention the Nespresso machine provided with selected capsules to give you a nice coffee to start your day if you have no time for breakfast in the morning.Breakfast buffet has a wide option from local dishes until western style breakfast. Pool is located in the roof top so you can enjoy the view from the top while swimming. If you’re not into exploring the hotel and can’t wait to explore the area around, there are mall and metro station nearby where you can have some local dishes in the restaurant like Din Tai Fung.Overall experience, I’d really like to come back to this hotel on my next visit to Taipei.
A hotel worth going back again and again. This hotel has well train staffs ,they were kin to help, and were professional and responsible.Mr.Kevin Lin was exceptionally helpful to us.We would definitely recommend this hotel to those who are visiting Taipei.
My husband asked the staff here for a little birthday gift to surprise me in our room and it was very impressive! Thank you so much for your service! We will definitely back again!
Nice pool! Nice Executive Lounge to enjoy inside as well as outside. Albert at the Executive Lounge was super attentive and make sure we were comfortable. Awesome service! Beds are very comfortable and larger than I expected. The higher floor views are awesome! Love it! Delicious breakfast! Very good little surprises they attended that make us want to comeback soon. Best hotel around our whole Taiwan tour trip. We ended staying a few more nights here.
New Hilton thats occupying half (?of Cesar Park Hotel which made for awkward confusion once we realized we were in the wrong hotel. The entire staff from front desk Market Flavor manager hostesses were amazingly friendly and accommodating. As Diamond Members, we were upgraded to a 29th floor room with a beautiful view of the city below and mountains in the distant. Too bad it rained all but the last day of our five nights stay over New Years weekend+, so we didnt get the full "wow" factor.Hilton did a good job with modernizing the furnishings and wall/glass treatment (odd choice of ceramic sculpture over the coffee/tea counter, though). Choice of Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries were complete miss for us, as the scent was overwhelmingly nauseating. Good thing we had packed some nicer toiletries from an IHG hotel.Executive Lounge access was also a miss for us, as food choices were catered towards omnivores. Having a whole food, plant based diet lifestyle kept us away. We did enjoy the teas, though, and the service staff were attentive.I have to give a shout-out to Adele, a Market Flavor manager. After two days of salads, fruits, and congee, I got fed up and expressed my frustration of the lack of healthy, vegan options. Poor Adele got quite an earful. She apologized, then had two veggie dishes made especially for us and the remaining breakfasts, thereafter. Thanks for your kind and professional manner in accommodating us, Adele!
Very comfortable hotel room with nice simple decoration and warm greeting. The executive lounge is nice and relaxing. The roof pool enables us to enjoy the scene but the water is cool (not heating pool). The gym is quite small and simple. No sauna facility. The breakfast is very nice, which provides a variety of choices. The hotel is easy to approach and convenient. A place which I will like to come back.
We had an enjoyable stay in the hotel. It is practically brand new as it was opened a month ago. The rooms are well appointed. I like the nice touches like the smart toilet seat and the electric window shade. The decors of the lobby and hallways are contemporary. The general ambience feels more like a Conran Hotel, a higher end version in the Hilton chain. The services are good. The breakfast buffet has a great variety of food. The rooftop swimming pool on the 32nd floor has an amazing view and setting. The water in the pool givea the illusion of flowing off the building. I should mention that the location of the hotel is very convenient as it is a few minutes walk from the Banqiao transportation hub.
My family and I had a nice experience in Market Flavor! There werent many kinds of dish to choose but each was with high quality. I love the steak, seafood, soup and dessert.
