Located on the Mack-Cali Business Campus, this contemporary hotel is a 10-mile drive from The Mall at Short Hills and 31 miles' drive from New York City. All rooms offer modern decor and custom-designed beds, plus desks, flat-screen TVs and free WiFi. Executive rooms provide access to the Executive Lounge's free breakfast and evening appetizers.Dining options include a steakhouse restaurant, a lounge and a coffee shop. Other amenities include a fitness center and a seasonal outdoor pool. Business facilities include a business center and 26 meeting rooms.
Just awful. Attended a conference here and it was absolutely freezing cold in the conference areas. We all had to wear jackets during business meetings, but were still extremely cold. The problem was fixed briefly on Tuesday at the end of the day, but on Wednesday morning it was 35 degrees outside and the hotel staff had the air conditioning cranked up again for some stupid reason. I was due to take part in a speech but it was just too cold, this was absolutely preposterous. Additionally, staff were not happy about being asked to fix the problem. This hotel is aging and it shows. Elevators are extremely sketchy - you can actually hear the cables stressing, and the equipment is outdated and deteriorating. The electrical outlets and lights in the room emit constant high pitched whines that are maddening, and you can hear all of the hotels equipment all night long, so it is very hard to sleep here. (Room 548The way the hotel is setup means you have to walk long distances to get from your room to the lobby areas. Shabby rooms, no breakfast, the indoor pool was closed all week, and the in-house restaurant is terrible. A small bottle of water from the front desk? $8. Overall this hotel makes it seem like Hiltons are on par with Best Western, but after this stay I will take Best Western over this place any day.
One of the worst Hilton hotels. The hotel turned off the air conditioning in all the rooms. When I called the front desk, the answer was the temperature is going to be 40f tonight so we shut off the air conditioning in all the rooms so basically the entire hotel did not have air conditioning at all and this is New Jersey where 40f is very common unlike other warmer states like Florida or Texas. By the way the temperature just stayed at 48f throughout the night!Even then it should be the guests preference on how hot or cold they would like the rooms to be. There is a reason we have thermostat in the rooms. The front desk asked me to open the windows and sleep & almost made it sound like I was making unnecessary demand of having air conditioning turned on in the room. I have stayed at other Hiltons before and this is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. I am never staying at this hotel nor will be recommending this place. We had a big event from the company here so I ended up staying here. We will be having lot more events in the area but definitely not at this hotel anymore after this bad experience!!
Beds and linens were spot on. Nice size room. Did not have wine opener at front desk and had to search for ice machine which is on the Hampton inn side on the fourth floor. Pool looked great. Bar was lively . Over nice place, Ill be back. The manager was great with restaurant recommendations!!
We booked a wedding block of rooms for my daughters wedding, after the previous one we had booked over a year ago cancelled our bookings about 6 weeks before the wedding because of lack of A/C. Worked with Jennifer in Sales who couldnt have been more helpful in making the transfer of rooms seamless; our guests did not have to rebook but just received an email with a new confirmation. The hotel was beautiful, rooms were great, and the continental breakfast the next morning was in a private room, well staffed, and more than adequate. Jennifer relieved the stress of this snafu and I am grateful!
Very poor experience. Upon check in, no carts available for luggage. No bell staff. Had to lug a car full to room. Ordered Instacart. Brought half up to room, by the time we returned other half was missing. Talked with front desk about cameras. They stated cameras were only in monitoring front door. I explained that’s where ours delivery was dropped off. She went to back and came out 10 minutes later and said nothing was seen. Rooms were absolutely filthy. No housekeeping service accept a morning round of cleaning up halls full of food. Strong stench. Housekeepers were very pleasant and accommodating when seen one round a day. Staff sleeping at front desk early in the morning. It would only make sense to have one of them make a quick round on the 6 floors overnight to clean hall trash. Gym equipment Broken and very minimal. Could not get home soon enough. If we weren’t here for an event, we would have left immediately upon arrival. Disgusting. We all felt sick in the room and would rather catch fresh air outside in the heat wave. Don’t go to this hotel.
We used the Hilton Parsippany to host our wedding guests. The Hotel was great in setting up a wedding block and working with us to add more rooms even 2 days before the big day! Amanda was great and worked behind the scenes to make sure everything was running smoothly. The restaurants at the hotel were all open. The steakhouse is great and super convenient for a latte night meal. The lobby bar was open and the cocktails are great! All the staff were nice! My guests and myself are very happy with the our weekend experience.
