Huge hotel in a great location, really convinent access to the Edgeware road tube station & walking distance to Paddington. Around the hotel are some shops, M&S for example.The room was small but very comfortable. A nice comfy bed, large TV, desk and armchair. We were on the 14th Floor and got a lovely view over to Wembley stadium, I understand the view on the other side is even better.We are room service which was really lovely. Nice big portions, good quality food and delivered in a very nice modern way. Food was hot and delicious.The bathroom was clean. We had a large walk in shower, no bathtub which suited us. The shower head was a bit strange with only mist or single stream settings, but was pleasant none the less. The shower head needs to be descaled, so maintenance could focus on this.Large bottles of toiletries which is good for the environment and for the customer as there was no running out.The bar area was pleasant and cocktails were nice.Breakfast was very busy and there was only one toaster which meant there was a huge queue for toast. They could do table service for toast, or find room for more toasters. But otherwise breakfast was lovely.Staff were helpful, but not always efficient. Multiple times problems came up with other customers (at the bar & at check-inand while the staff were serving us, moved to help with the problem (3/4 staff each time focused on the customer with the issuesleaving us waiting even though we were there first.However overall the we had a good experience at the hotel and would happily return again.

I got to stay in this hotel due to a conference held there. While the conference rooms seem to have been refurbished, the rooms in the West Wing are certainly not! There are false articles on the internet saying that renovations to all rooms have been completed in May. Its simply not true.The room I was assigned was in the West Wing. There was a disgusting smell of mould in the room. Even after leaving and travelling, that smell would still stick to everything in my suitcase!I reported the smell to the reception desk in the morning, as well as the hose of the shower, which was broken and leaking badly (like, 50% of the water). Staff at the reception were nice, they promised to send room service. Needless to say (if you read other reviews, too), nobody came, nothing was done. I went down again in the evening to complain because the room had not even been made during the day. They told me that rooms are generally only cleaned every third day, which seems to me very, very much below standard - and this in a Hilton!Just to add, the hallway was unbelievably dirty and it had the same rubbish lying around there even on Day 3. Its a shame for the rates they ask.

I chose the hotel because it was close to the hop on hop off tour I signed up for. It turned out to be close to everything I needed. My sister actually recommended it and Im glad I listened. Breakfast was delicious and staff were happy to help me find the gluten free options. I also had dinner my first night and it was delicious. Highly recommend.

So disappointed with this hotel there are numerous areas that need work on .Firstly check-in not one seat in the libby area or by check in desk being someone with mobility issues I require seating and none to have .We thought we booked a twin accessible room only to find out twin accessible for some reason isn’t a thing at the Hilton after 3 room changes and 4 hours we got settled into a connecting room which yes we got a reduced rate for , it should of been made clear when booking twin accessible wasn’t happening and we would of gone somewhere else .The hotel isn’t disabled friendly at all , we had a room in the older block which is the furthest away from the lobby I think as you can get .We needed the assistance of staff to take us by wheelchair to the room , beds so hard and uncomfortable I could go on for the money spent and the experience I’m beyond disappointed.Never felt like a valued customer, the hotel is more suited to hosting corporate events. The day we checked out all the Hilton managers from around the world arriving .What they need to do is run training in supporting disabled guest have there accessible rooms overhauled to make them more suitable with proper grab rails and also put a plan in place if emergency.First hotel I’ve stayed in that haven’t been asked would we need assistance in case of an emergency.

Great location and easy to get to by car, car park spaces are quite tight. Room was excellent very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, a lot of choice and all very fresh.

I was there as part of an event, so I cant really tell about your everyday experience (except the rooms that I am focusing on). The service was good, food was okay. Regarding the rooms its a question of luck wether you get a room that had been renovated or one of the old ones (1980ish). My room sadly was facing a concrete wall and on a low level, so it was very noisy. I suggest trying to get a room that is not in the King Tower, as these all are on a lower level.

worst hotel experience ever. dont go there if you want warm/comfy stay. the room temperature was way lower than my expectation, so I felt chilly during my 3 night stay and the reception desk seems not to solve my issue.

The rooms are dated and in urgent need of renovation. The staff are friendly but poorly trained. And, if you forgot your toothbrush or shaver, prepare to be pay FIVE pounds. Yes, this hotel will audaciously charge you for these 10 pence items. Stay away!

A surprise find for us, staying at this huge hotel - 1300 rooms. The newly refurbished rooms are comfortable and tasteful. The staff were all very helpful and caring, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. The stay was a real treat.

Would have easily rated this a 5,but na!!! Rooms are beautiful. I got an amazing view from my window. Location fantastic! Lounge service exquisite! Concierge men really helpful and nice! 😉My problem lies with the cleaning of the rooms. They never want to change the sheets, and they dont clean the bathroom properly, if at all they even do. Leave a toilet brush so guests can help themselves to it since the cleaners find it so hard to clean.

The hotel is mediocre at best with the staff generally not being very helpful, however I write this review to give special thanks to Sallyann at concierge who helped me locate my lost laundry despite other staff insisting there was nothing they could do and that no laundry had been stored in the back of concierge. She went above and beyond with the help that she offered which resulted in the finding of my lost belongings! I had previously raised my concerns to staff members who did absolutely nothing to actually help, simply telling me it is an issue for housekeeping. So thank you Sallyann, very grateful for your care and assistance!

Stay away! I am a Hilton Diamond member but I’ve never seen a worse managed Hilton in my life!Long queues at check in with rooms not available or not ready. Staff taking 25 min to check in one person - either poorly trained, or lazy, or both. The Hilton priority lane occupied by 2 males talking to a receptionist for 30 min about something in Arabic, not sure what it was all about but it held the check in process for a very long time.Once I was given a key to the room and got there I saw to my horror the room was not made up - bed sheets all over the place, towels on the floor etc. you get the picture.Back to the reception and given another room. Went up - guess what? The room isn’t made up either!Went down to the reception and given a key to another room. Well, this one was made up but had no shower gel. A roll away bed is left by the room door in the corridors, as well as a vacuum cleaner and some paper bags with rubbish.I have a feeling it’s a refugee camp, not a 4 star Hilton property.I’ll be writing to the hotel GM and Hilton Diamond desk about my experience

We arrived at the hotel as part of the Coldplay concert package. On arrival at reception at 4pm it was extremely busy with long queues and I gathered many others were in the same situation, many complaining loudly.The rooms were not ready to be allocated and many customers in the queue in front were becoming agitated when told that it was not possible to advise when rooms would become available.However we were not bothered by this, we had one small rucksack that the desk staff told us could be left with concierge.The helpful lady on reception gave us a pass for the executive lounge for our inconvenience.We arrived back from the concert around midnight and had drinks in the bar until around 1am.We received an electronic key to the room sent to our phone.This is where the story becomes surreal …….We got to the room and the electronic key glowed near to our allocated room, my partner pushed the door open and I walked in ahead. I was struck by a horrible fusty smell. I voiced this to my partner- to my horror I then saw someone writhing around in the bed.I told my partner we needed to get out. Not understanding he was insisting that we had the right room.The male in the bed started to shout out angrily. We both then retreated hurriedly.We went back to reception who were very helpful and apologetic and allocated us a room on the top floor with great views and a complimentary breakfast.We entered this room, imagine my surprise that the lights were on, the bed was unmade, there were drinks on the table and someone in the toilet.We again returned to reception, wary of trying another room as the whole night was starting to feel like a bizarre twist on the story of Goldilocks and the three bears.Thankfully the assistant on reception went ahead to check the third room had no occupants.The third room was clean with great views over London.The only complaint with it was the bed was rather hard, but by that point it was just a relief not to have an occupant already in it.

Could have been a 5 star experience, the hotel is noice but lacking in some details.Highs: Location, breakfast, and good cancelation policyLows: No guide for available services/facilities. Some towels are stained, however clean.Comparing this hotel with other ones close to its location, I can recommend this one.

The hotel stay was good but the restaurant food downstairs was unpalatable. The location is great, right next to a tube station. Breakfast is included and is delicious. However, the same place where breakfast is served also serves dinner and it almost made me vomit. The fish was not fresh and left a stinky aftertaste. In addition, it tasted rotten and smelled funky. Other dishes also did not justify the price. Way overpriced for the rancid food.

Had a great experience, our room was great. We stayed on floor 23 and there was a great view from our room.Additionally, our experience in the executive lounge was made special by “Vasiles”. Really amazing at his job and provided great customer service.I would really recommend.

Extremely noisy breakfast. Ironically we had the executive lounge, but missed it with some minutes, and went to ground floor. Really messily located locations for bread, warm food, cold food, etc.Hilton IS high standards, but it just got too crowded, when we visited.

This is one of the beautiful hotels to spend some time on any of your personal relaxations or business purposes. The reception is so welcoming and the receptionists are warm people and all other service staff. Big open restaurants by the reception to quench your thirst with different varieties of drinks and fill your belly with the deserts and continental foods.

Over all good experience, location is great and room was fab. Breakfast and executive lounge were excellent. For few services, i had to ask thrice and even personally go the reception. I assume it was due to shortage of staff. Courtesy was there but trainees were on board and concierge caused problems.

This hotel is below any expectations ,they should rank it as a motel or belowIts not cleanI opend the bathroom door and insects were flying all over the room brown color in the tiles smells bad , the cabinet door was broken and it can fall down  no safety measurement was taken.there restaurant has insects in the coffee cups and plates( they are understaffed every where)Breakfast buffet was not fresh as they claim and always they sameNot organized in check In or Out area. queue was there but anyone can cut the line and the staff would ignore it even if they see it.Definitely this hotel didnt go over any inspection for healthy,  saftey nor cleaning

Bell staff were decent. Everyone else was quite rude. I was chased down the hallway for trying to take a glass of coke from the executive lounge...absolute madness. There are much better Hilton options in London that have way better service. Hotel is starting to show age too.

Walking to the hotel from Paddington Station was not bad. The Hotel is located on Edgware which is a very dirty street. I was very surprised about that. That street was my first impression of London and I seriously said to myself where did I take us!! After while we were told about the other side of the hotel which Thankfully was a nice area to have a beer and food truck food. This is a HUGE hotel so if you want something more intimate or smaller this is not it. The hotel is located near a lot of Arab restaurants.Ill start with the pros: I was traveling with my adult son and we booked a two twin bed room. The room had air conditioning and it worked great. The bed was comfortable. The shower was delightful. The location is great for the Tube or Bus. You have 2 tube stations that can take you everywhere. That was seriously the best part about this hotel. Bus station is nearby also. The staff was nice and helpful. I felt safe even when we got to our hotel after midnight.Cons: First off if your flight comes in early, we were at the hotel around 9:00am dont think you will get your room early...3:00p check in and they would not budge. The room was VERY small which I know is not unusual for Europe, but the bathroom had no counter space! They dont give you but two bath towels and calling to ask for more is impossible...no one answers. I dont like getting room service, but ended up getting it once so I could get new towels. The BIGGEST problem we had were gnats flying around our room! 6 or more at a time and when you thought you got them all somehow more came in. ANNOYING!! The breakfast was just OK. After a few days of it we went out for breakfast. We were on the second floor so we took the stairs mostly because the elevator near us took a long time to come up. Would I stay here again....NO! Again the best thing about our stay was being so close to the tubes, but I would definitely find a better hotel.

Great hotel! The room was clean and modern, with decent size and amenities. The executive lounge was amazing as they have both afternoon tea(3-5pmand evening drinks(6-8pm). Drink selection was good and food was good as well.Love the breakfast here as well. All fresh and high standard of cooking.

I stayed for 5 nights here on business trip. I spent a lot of time waiting in a line (both check in and out). There were all seats (not so many availablealways taken so I had to stand all the time I was at Reception.My room was clean and well prepared and equipped to my needs-fast complimentary WiFi and sufficient number of easily accessible plugs. Hotel meeting room was standard with water always available, hotel staff always helpful to give a hand or advice. Number of elevators adequate but often busy. Breakfasts were OK, staff helpful and good choice of food available. Some food less tasty though (hummus, boiled eggs).Hotel is large and quite busy, some nights pretty noisy (people drinking too much over their limitbut nothing I could not live with. It is located close to the tube (station is just across the streetand train (Paddington Station is just 10 minutes" walk).The only real issue I had was during my check out and it was with missing company name on my invoice. I was told it could not be fixed once check out was completed. But I noted that issue when I was given the invoice....Staff were polite and professional but not able to resolve it.To sum up - To be fair, 3 stars (it is Hilton so the expectation is highplus half star for staff. Busy hotel in the center of London with an opportunity for improvement in Reception area.+ Helpful staff+ Location+ Room - clean, fast WiFi connection- Busy but not enough seats at Reception area- Slow check in/out process- Reception staff not able to fix the issue with my invoice (missing my companys name).

I had crutches and no one helped me with luggage or anything. The reception was very slow (not all desks were openso i had to stand waiting for a long time. When they opened other desks they took random people that just arrived. We were told on the phone that an extra bed could be added and had troubles when we arrived. The manager helped us and we found a solution to this inconvenience. The breakfast and tea time in the executive lounge was delicious and there was a lot of choice.

Horrible experience, the mattress was very uncomfortable near the head board, gave us a headache, there is no one to help at the guest service counter we just wanted milk sachets for tea coffee service and we were told to wait for 1.30 hours to get it from the breakfast service later, as no housekeeping staff, so what happens if there is an emergency??? Overall it’s way tooo expensive with horrible guest service!Disappointed!

Great hotel located at the heart of downtown London, only 20 minutes walk to Oxford Street! Theres also a Mark and Spencer just right across from the hotel! I stayed at the Tower building, which is new and clean! Absolutely loved my view as well. The room was on a tinier side on a North American standard, but good enough and have everything youll need, including a cattle.

As a Hilton Diamond member, we had an overnight stay in the Hilton London Metropole. This hotel was very busy: the public areas were consistently bustling with both conference participants and hotel guests.We had a 2nd floor room in the East Wing which is recently renovated. Much as the room looked really good, but the furnishing seemed to be rushed and incomplete. For example, in the extended living room area, there was a table with a living room lamp but with no chairs. Perhaps a settee or an armchair would nicely filled up this space and provide more seating spaces. Sleep quality and shower pressure was good though.Because of the crowds, the front desk were evidently struggling to cope with the crowds. We also encountered a front desk staff melting down in front of a gentleman who was trying to check in. The staff just walked off from his desk, leaving the poor guest stunned. The replacement front desk staff was competent and she quickly processed the check-in for the guest including ourselves who were 2nd in line.In general, an OK stay with nice hardware. But with the costs paid (not cheap at all), we were glad to have just an overnight here as the hotel was simply too busy and it was simply not conducive for a relaxing, holiday stay.

rooms are very dated, and very dusty for some reason. cannot open the window had to leave the AC running whole day/night. The control panel for the AC is from another dimension, you need a civil engineering degree to operate it. Lobby is always always packed with guests checkin/ checkout. only good thing is the location.

Very bad billing system, there was multiple payments posted on my credit card and they were very random numbers (not matching the room ratenon of the staff including the duty manager were able to justify the payments posted on my card since the numbers and not matching the room rate. However, I’m still charged the room rate x 2 and they are claiming that I will be refunded and I’m still not sure if I should trust there billing system or not.Service was poor, and you will have to stay more than 5 min on the line to order water only !

Im very disappointed how Hilton standards dropped in this Hotel.First, at the check-in a long queue with limited staff. One of the staff moved from one desk to another, few customers in the line left due to long waiting seconds during check-in. They provided me with one key card for each room. I requested more the answer showed how the standard is low and no anticipation of how summer will be busy the hotel. NO CARD AVAILABLE tomorrow. When the customer checks out we may provide you with extra.One of the rooms my kids arrived, the toilet unclean tissue paper in the bath room; the trash was not cleaned and when I complained to the receptionist, she said, sorry its different department, I cant do anything. From professional Im expecting to hear we will look into it and the duty manager will contact you.I think there is mismanagement in this Hotel there is no customer service is surprised why Hilton accepted this standard unless the owner is untouchable.My massage to Hilton if they realy care, Its doesnt mean the Hotel is full that they are doing will its full because no other option when the London hotels is full.To be honest, the check-in staff done there best during check-in, unfortunately, my booking nonrefundable other wise moves to another hotel will be the best option for me, Im disappointed with this first impressions, its my first time her most probably the last unless I see improvements Im my days here I will update this review as we go, final thoughts we deserve the best service for the amount we pay.

I stayed there for 4 nights with my family. We have 3 rooms booked.Location is excellent. Room size is bit small. Breakfast is average.Cleanliness is poor. Towels were having foul smell. The housekeeping changes the towel twice but the whole Lott is the same.Staff is friendly & helpful.Not recommend. There are more better options in same price range.

The hotel is okay.The furniture and condition in general looks quite old. When I came, I have to stay for 30 minutes in a line to check-in(However, it has good location, nice staff and good breakfast.

Room was small, but clean and with amazing view over the city.Also, we were told that there is no swimming pool, so if you going for leisure facilities, most probably you will be disappointed.Breakfast was very nice. Various, fresh and delicious. Location also very good, it is easy to access many sights. Thank you for a nice experience!

The hotel is located very close to underground stations including Paddington and hence it is easy to travel from and to the hotel. The rooms were good, well maintained and functional. The phone in my room was not working and amenities provided could be improved.

We had a great experience here. The staff is helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious. We were traveling with our three college aged children.The hotel is right by a tube station which was very convenient.We ate at both the restaurant and the bakery and were very satisfied with the price and quality.Housekeeping was terrific as well.Great experience!

Arrived late Friday evening and I was able to check in instantly, the front desk were pleasent and gave us an upgrade for free which was nice. Check in slowed slightly by the face that there were no room cars holders behind the desk so we had to wait for these to be retrieved. Room itself was ample size and presented well with great views towards west London. We did find a couple stray hairs on the toilet but other than that it was clean. Only other downside was the bed is very hard which is obviously personal preference but didnt allow me to have the best nights sleep. Used express checkout on the way out so no delays with check out.

Average Hilton. Air conditioning doesn’t really work too well, at least in the room I had. Lots of tour groups blocking up the restaurant for breakfast on a Sunday morning so had to go elsewhere. Would stay again as convenient location

Great location, but rooms are poorly planned. Several small details that one would expect from any hotel are deliberately missing. Storage spaces in our room is abysmal. There is one towel bar and no hooks in the bathroom. No shower caps and no wash cloths. Closet has no shelves, just hangers. Ive had an easier time at budget hotels and b&bs. In addition the room was not properly cleaned. There was a candy wrapper in one corner and a used pillow cover in another. Very disappointing. All previous Hilton stays have been far superior to this one.

The main lobby and bar area is nice having been recently renovated. The hotel room itself was really poor. I think it depends which wing you stay in, but my room at £220 per night was tired and worn. I can overlook that, but what I can’t overlook was that it had the worst bed I’ve slept on in any hotel (inc other Hilton’s/ travel lodges / premier inn). Rock hard and in desperate need of replacement. Won’t stay again.

After getting stuck in London on Saturday we had to book last minute, we arrived at the hotel around 23:30 and it was very busy, Frank in reception was full of beans, very welcoming extremely helpful, we did have to wait for our room so when we popped back to reception there was another gentleman who was less then helpful and quite dismissive, luckily Frank came back and resolved the issue very swiftly. I hope someone from management reads this review and makes Frank aware of the impact his energy had on my day! So much so I have taken the time to write this review.Frank you are a ray of sunshine and you brought a smile to our faces.

Attended a wedding here, lovely hall, staff were really helpful, hotel suite was nice. The only problem was the distance we had to walk from the east wing where the suite was, to the west wing, where the halls were. It would have been much better if the rooms were closer. In addition. There were no bathrooms on the third floor near the Kensington suite. This was really inconvenient

Excellent size room, clean and decorated well. Very helpful staff members throughout the stay. Melissa or Michelle was the Tyburn kitchen in the morning during breakfast was super friendly and helpful. Really went above and beyond to make sure we was comfortable and had everything we need for our baby. Good gluten free options, however, the bread you cannot toast as the crumbs from regular bread contaminate the GF Bread. I wish more companies knew this. There cannot be any contamination of regular wheat/ malt or barley based items With gluten free items. They should provide toasting bags or have a separate toaster behind the counter to prevent this. Same with sausages, my son loves a cooked breakfast however couldn’t enjoy one as sausages were not gluten free. It’s so readily available now days everywhere and does not cost more then regular sausages.

Filthy, terrible service , too busy, rooms are upgraded post renovation but got water dripping from ceiling. A lady manager moved me to another room & trying to convince me that there is no smoking smell in the room .. security can’t speak English & has no idea that there is no business Center 🙄.Concierge was helpful for a change & good 15£ Aperol spritz in the lobby . And good executive lounge

Not recommended. Understaffed. Front Desk has no clue about anything. Errors in the bill and the rate. I ask for help with the with digital room key, they had no idea. The deactivate your key when they run into issues with payment instead of contacting you. Bed is uncomfortable. You can barely reach anyone by room phone. Housekeeping makes you feel they are doin you a favor for cleaning your room. If you are luck with a room in the Tower, you will have a nice view of London. Overall, its bad experience for such a brand and such a price. If you can, try finding another hotel.

The hotel is beautiful. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable. The location is great as well. This was a good choice for me. I have no complaints whatsoever.

Wonderful hotel. The staff is very polite, we were with a child and the room was really big for a London hotel. We were given a lovely clean room and a very good breakfast. After checking out, we left our luggage without any problems and in general a good atmosphere in the hotel

Room 502Love the location, clean rooms, very lovely friendly staff. Only negative is there wasnt anything to eat late at night. Very nice park/plaza across the street, great place to have your coffee in the morning and a smoke.
