Up scale nice rooms great views of the city but dont expect a free breakfast or anything you will pay dearly for anything extra!
Fantastic hotel & just look at the tub that was in my room! The shower had 5 sprayers and was completely magical & relaxing. I was on a work trip & really enjoyed these little extras.
Great hotel. Loved the aesthetic of the place and views were nice. Everything felt clean and hotel provided everything we needed. If needed, hotel will provide a fridge, but its very small. Also no microwave in room. Beautiful bathrooms, loved the lighting. Beautiful lobby area. Pool was good-sized and a beautiful sky window above it. Hot tub wasnt very hot, it was warm when I used it, but people later said it was warmer. Good sized gym area. Wifi is fast. Downside is that the elevators take longer and sometimes you need to wait for 10min. Overall loved it. A two queen bed room easily fitted us a famly of seven.
Elevator are slow you have 4 and only 2 worked. Room service low we had a ice bucket and no glass to drink out of. Roon was not cleaned left room at 8 am and return at 4pm.did not any coffee cups. I guess that you treat you Hilton Honors customers
Arrived October 27-30 and stayed in room 1215. Woke up at 3am on 3Oth to leave for early flight noticed something bit me . When arrived at airport realized covered in bed bug bites which have since then required prednisone and five days later still look like I have Leprosy on my arms . Have made multiple calls but only one manager named cliff can make decisions and cliff is off or not there or not returning calls . I’m not a person to blast people on social media but this is horrible business practice and a public health matter and I hope nobody is in room 1215 right now . It made me leave a star but it would be zero at this point .
Build is old; Room was fine, nothing special; apparently they dont have heat in the rooms until they turn the AC over. That would have been an important note before allowing people to book a room there. They brought me a space heater which did not work properly, so I was cold all night. And they used 1 Ply Toilet Paper at this name brand hotel... it cut me, smh
We had a nice room but the bathroom was gross. There was hair in the shower and on shower curtain and not just a little, it was like someone shaved there entire body in there.
Absolutely wonderful, great location. Walking distance to so many restaurants and activities. Gladly stay here each and every time in downtown Lexington, Ky
Classy Hotel located in heart of downtown Lexington. Uber pick up spot is very convenient. Rooms are updated and spotless. Be sure to check in at the lobby for a parking card.
A worker came in my room at 4:30 am seeming to be very under the influence of some kind of drug asking if we needed room service when we addressed it he became aggressive and left. When we attempted to tell the front desk they said they would take care of it and when we go back to our room. He was pacing up and down the hallway saying swear words under his breath. And stayed by our room for hours. We did not feel safe and the hotel did not take care of it!
The walls are thin so be prepared to hear the people in the next room. The room kinda had an oder to it. Its a very beautiful hotel tho. Everyone was super nice! Its great that its Attached to the arena. The room worked for one nightYou will have to pay for parking, they take your parking pass and just add it onto your room!!
I booked on an "Executive" floor hoping to have the lounge and business center access for some downtime.SURPRISE! There is no longer a lounge or business center on the executive floors. Interesting that the floor plan still shows both.It wasnt until after I checked in and couldnt find them that the front desk told me, "OH. We dont have them anymore. Come to the front desk to get your "coupon amenities ".Wow. Really? Why bother booking on the executive floor if its no different than others?Shame on you Hilton.Hyatt is across the street.
Would not grant our request for an early check-in, so we could get to a concert on time. Purchased 2 Pepsis from the machine on the 7th floor and they were flat. Looked at the date on the bottle and they were well over a year and a half old!! Disgusting!! Accommodations were great and proximity to the concert we attended was excellent. It was very sad seeing homeless people sleeping in Triangle Park, across the street from the hotel.
Hotel room was clean room was good. Only reason I gave it a 3 star is its a older hotel and needs some updates in the pool area and hot tub. Good food and bar area. Great location for walking around town bar hoping and food. Only a 15 min walk to Lexington distillery and brewing company. Its a great tour. Highly recommend the tour. They brew the bourbon barrel ale beer and Town Branch bourbon. Found some Weller at a great price in a local liquor store around the corner from the hotel to. Great view out of our room.
Great place for one night, bathtub in the room, shower head sprays water all over the floor, pool & hot tub (both VERY SMALLdownstairs definitely need an update, OLD hotel. Towels were like sandpaper, Ive never had that experience at a hotel.I tried to call the service desk just for a quick question, but the phone kept ringing, and ringing annnnd ringing.Great location 10/10 beautiful view of the city, but the location doesnt make the hotel for me, comfortability does & for a Hilton it was extremely underwhelming.
Its definitely one of those hotels that you know is pricey, but then again, you see why once you go into your room. Top notch hotel with amazing service. You wont have a problem service wise, room cleanliness, or where its located. Your directly in the center of town. Enjoy your stay, I know I will be coming back.
Such a nice location, close to everywhere downtown!I’m not sure if it’s because of the day I stayed there, but elevator took forever to reach first floor to take me to my room. I waited almost 10 minutes just for the elevator to go to my room which is the 11th floor.
Beautiful views, clean hotel. We stayed for six days and requested room service on the third. Unfortunately, they never came and we had to stop at the front desk to ask for towels and request room service again. It was completed the next day. The shower head in the bathroom sprayed everywhere! I always stay at Hiltons as I am an honors member but this particular hotel was a little underwhelming.
Met guests there for breakfast. The fruit was spoiled and made me sick. Need to check freshness of fruits and storing in the kitchen. Surprised that the Hilton would not have superior quality food.
The staff are very friendly and eager to help, from the valet to the front desk to the housekeepers. I recently did some work in their parking garage and cut myself on my equipment. The front desk had some antiseptic and bandaids ready, so I didnt skip a beat. The Hilton is convenient to a LOT of the downtown area.
This hotel has its ups and downs. Except for the elevators, they don’t do much up or down. Rooms look modern and recently updated as well as most of the hotel itself, plus the staff is friendly. Parking is connected, although others aren’t joking about the spots being incredibly small - and garage clearance is only 6’6 in case you were wondering. Not a deal breaker but can be an issue for certain vehicles. Leave the hummer at home (which you would anyway with gas prices). And let me tell you, people aren’t joking about these elevators, they are slow. So slow that I could write this review while waiting for one, and still have time. At least it brings you together with the other guests to have a chat and agree that the waiting is the worst. Anyway, still waiting for an elevator, may still be waiting here when you check in - see you on the 15th floor, bring food as were getting hungry. (Hotel is great, I’m sure they will fix the elevators soon)
This is a nice hotel in downtown Lexington, walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Nice staff, walls are a little thin tho, was kept up by the couple next to us having a bang session from 1-2am and then 5-6am.Good for them tho.The hotel bar has good gin and tonics
I am a Hilton Diamond member with over 50 stays this year, but this is the first hotel where I have ever gotten stuck in the elevator, and then had three out of the four elevators nonfunctional for the duration of our stay. With a convention of thousands of people only having one elevator was a great hassle. My wife had to wait over 20 minutes just to get our three kids and the stroller down stairs. The service of the staff was great, but the elevator were a big problem.
My husband and I arrived from Huntsville, Al, for the Called convention. We were very frustrated with the slow service of the elevator. The one (1elevator which serviced the entire hotel lack efficiency. We orded room service and put our tray in the hallway, two days later it was still there, we eventually called down to front desk to have it picked up.We were excited to unwind in the whroolpool, but when we stepped into the pool the water was just warm and the pool could use a good cleaning! We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the location!
Nothing works in this hotel. The AC unit was set to 60F in our room and it DID NOT cool. Only 1 out of 4 elevators in the hotel was working during 4 days of a conference with over 6,000 attendees. The elevator was never fixed. The fan that was brought to our room was also broken down. This hotel is the worst Hilton that I have stayed at.
I dont tend to be very picky with hotel rooms. I stay in a lot of properties and am a Hilton Diamond member. Check in was smooth, staff were accommodating and friendly. The room was musty smelling but I didnt complain. Its a nice size room and the hotel doesnt look outdated. The onsite restaurant has a good breakfast, and the hotel is connected by sky bridge to the rest of downtown including the arena and convention center. The first thing I noticed that was unacceptable was that two of the four elevators were obviously out of commission (although for a couple days there was no signage indicating this, those two were just never seen in operation). Keep in mind this is a large hotel with seventeen floors, and a large convention is in progress in town. There were long waits for the elevator at almost any time of the day. One of the two "operating" elevators was unreliable. It would on some trips sort of bounce around but never stop at any of the floors requested and eventually just open up again at the ground floor. Then later it would work normally. Until it finally didnt come back down. The occupants were able to get off on the 17th floor and then come back down by the stairs. After that experience, management placarded this elevator and the other two wed never seen operate as out of order. This left one working elevator, which itself had issues (it often had a pretty substantial difference in floor height when the doors were open). To their credit, staff did during peak times take groups in the freight elevator. But these are old elevators, and something should have been done earlier to avoid getting down to one operating elevator car. In addition, the wifi network didnt work in the room. After connecting one device to it once, I never again got it to work, and I have a background in IT so I know it wasnt my devices or operator error. Like I say, I stay in a lot of Hilton properties and usually the complementary wifi is great. During this entire stay I had to use my hot spot. Not exactly business or work friendly! To make matters worse, this property has no business center. Front desk was kind enough to print a document for me, but there was usually a line there and they are busy. What kind of downtown, business district hotel gets rid of the business center?
Great location , lots of areas near by to visit within walking distance such as restaurants and bars , the Hotel is very well maintained , awesome staff on hand at all times , bar is excellent to relax and enjoy even the staff there is great , rooms very clean and comfortable as always . We always have a great stay here and highly recommend .
Stayed for a wedding, location is very close to almost everything you need, plenty of night life and things to see. There are plenty of homeless in the area which obviously dont reflect on the hotel at all, but be cognizant of it.There was an odd smell in the lobby I mentioned it, and others picked up on it as well, I mentioned it to the staff and it was kind of brushed off.Either way, the room was clean, the air conditioning was set at about 64 and it was probably about 70 in the room, comfortable but not as cold as the thermostat was set, the others I was with had about a 50% some were nice and cold, the others the same as me.Overall with the location and the amenities, such as breakfast, a great bar staff, and a coffee shop all in the hotel it was a nice stay. Pool and hot tub were clean, inside for both. I would stay again!
Location, location, location! Best area for entertainment, restaurants and more.Accommodations are above average and so are the rooms.Front desk staff I would rate 2 1/2 stars as majority of the stays here, they barely smile or greet us upon arrival.1 dirty microwave by the bar restaurant in lobby area.Pool is nice but indoors. Gym is okay.
