This unpretentious hotel is 2 miles from the Art Deco Historic District, and a mile from both Miami Beach Botanical Garden and art exhibits at The Bass.Straightforward rooms offer complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minifridges, plus safes and Keurigs. Suites add separate living areas.Amenities include a 24-hour convenience shop, a gym and a restaurant, plus a lounge and a bar. Breakfast, bike rentals and valet parking are available.
Rooms are OK, bedrooms are comfortable. Window in the room was cracked. The one thing I cannot get past is the smell. Hotel reeks of bleach and baby oil. It literally will encapsulate you once you walk in. Everyone at the front desk though, super friendly and personable. They are awesome. If you park here you actually have to park at the Ace hotel.
Carolina, the front desk agent, was really nice and friendly. She was the highlight of my stay. She went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The hotel itself is located on collins Ave and 30th street, just one block away from the beach. However, South Beach is a little far to go by foot. The building is old and the rooms are small. The hotel doesnt have its own parking garage. They share it with the AC hotel which is one block away. Parking is expensive, $35 per night. Breakfast was disappointing. The continental buffet was one of the poorest I have seen at a Hilton property. If it wasnt for the hotel staff, I would not go back to that property.
It was a nice place to stay. The carpets in our room were in need of replacing but it was for one night. Overall it was clean and tidy. The man at the front desk was helpful and friendly. Sorry I didn’t take any photos. It was just a quick overnight while we moved our son into the area. Centrally located. It would’ve been nice to know that there wasn’t any onsite parking but they have an agreement with Marriott for valet services.
I enjoyed my stay, I felt welcomed by the staff so that was great. Jose checked me in and he was really nice, and so was the woman who checked me out. I wasnt able to catch her name.I enjoyed being so close to the beach. However, I felt disconnected from the happenings of the Art Deco area. Overall, I had everything I needed. Thank you for a great experience.
This was the worst Hilton Ive stayed at ever. Parking is ridiculous. The lady who checked us in was super nice and helpful. The room was dingy. Carpet was dirty and turned my socks black on the bottom. Duvet cover was not white and looked dirty next to the white sheets. A/C didnt work great. The toilet ran all night. The wallpaper was peeling in several places and just overall looked very worn and in need of a refresh. Breakfast was ridiculously expensive for just fruit and coffee and the whole time were eating the cleaning staff was literally yelling back and forth to each other at the top of their lungs and during the day maintenance staff in the halls were loud and yelling too. It was such an uncomfortable stay that we left early and didnt stay the second night we had planned.
Don’t stay here right now. Rooms stink of mold. They will move you if pressured. I am a Life Time Diamond. The hotel is not staffed to even provide the promised amenities like a restaurant and bar. Front desk is amazing but limited by management and owners.
Don’t stay at this Hilton we were very disappointed. Website offered shuttle to the ship and was told they never offered a shuttle. Rooms were NOT to any other Hilton standards by no means!!!
The 4* was due to great service and the location. Me and friends stayed here and the room was to small for us, but overall it was good. There is a bar inside and the front desk always greeted us when we entered the building. The beach is less than 100 feet away which is the prime reason we choose the location. I would definitely recommend the hotel!
This is not Hilton standard. My husband is Diamond status and we get $20 credit per day. We grab few pantry chips and made sure they understand that these goes towards our credit, few days later we got our bill and was charged for it 🙄 my husband have to waste over an hour dispute in the phone for these charges! such a turn off when front office staff do not understand how the process goes they even mentioned everytime yes we will credit it to your account. If you are staying in this hotel and you have heavy luggages or in a wheelchair run away! this place has no easy access to accomodate you. They have a door at the side with manual elevator for wheelchair and we were pressing buttons and no one is answering. We have to carry heavy luggage through stairs. We will not stay on this location ever again. In a positive note the rooms are clean though its small they maintained it nicely. Parking is a delema but considering its south beach this issue is pretty normal. We travel for business almost every week we know Hiltons standard ubfunfortunately this is not one of them.
Beware! Hotel full of drunk people, side door, which is the only for to get in rolling suitcases is shut down with no doorbell, this is a red flag for accessibility. Handicap people stay away. Parking is charged for diamond members and the rooms are miniatures.
While the staff was friendly and their customer service was excellent, our coffee maker didnt work. Theres no closet, no hangers, no place to hang beach towels to dry. Our last night, the AC broke at 11pm and we were given another room...1 king bed for 3 of us. I wouldnt stay here again.
My wife and I stayed here and was to receive two $10 food credits per day, when I checked out I was charged for the breakfast we ate and not one of the credits were deducted. The room seemed clean and was comfortable but the building had a smell, like a spray being used to hide an odor, I suppose the building has been flooded by hurricanes though. If you stay look over your receipt. carefully to make sure you don’t get charged for things that are supposed to be free or credited. I finally got a refund so I modified this review.
The staff at the hotel is amazing. They were kind and very attentive to our needs. Jose went above and beyond to help me with something I left in my room. He reached out to me to confirm that it was found and help coordinate me getting it back. This hotel is well ran.
Pros: Great location, walking distance to beach. Friendly helpful staff.Cons: Small rooms. Our cruise room was bigger. There is a wheelchair ramp entrance that was closed for some unknown reason🤷♀️. Everyone had to lug heavy suitcases up stairs to the entrance. Such an easy fix. Why ?
