While on my way from Virginia Beach Virginia to Greensboro North Carolina I encountered a delay in arrival so I made numerous attempts between the hours of 10pm -10am. NO ONE PICKED UP THE PHONE!!! When I arrived I was informed that I would be charged as if I stayed! The FULL PRICE!!! So I asked if there was a way to change my reservation for that day since I arrived at check out he said no there was nothing he could do Hilton would not allow this accommodation. I ended up stranded and had to use my BILL money so that I would not Be sleeping in my car hundreds of miles away. I called Hilton customer Service and was told to call the Hotel which I DID and was RUDELY Told there was nothing they could do. I am a paying customer who has utilized Hilton more than once I EXPECTED BETTER. After this experience I WILL NEVER STAY AT HILTON OR THEIR AFFILIATES.
I did not use the services, so I wont comment them. I use the hotel room mostly to sleep and have breakfast.Beds and pillows were comfortable, I slept well. Not much noise aside from the traditional and annoying AC. Talking about AC, I felt like the whole room was humid. It even smelled humidity. When I got home and unpacked my luggage, my clothes were almost wet, confirming what I felt there.Breakfast was terrible. First, the place is badly designed. You have to cross a hallway to reach the dispensers (bakery, milk products, etc.from the sitting room, and coffee is facing reception (different location). You therefore have to go to the main hall to get your morning coffee... Seriously? Second, I ordered sunny easy eggs and bacon. The eggs came overcooked (yolk fully cookedand potatoes were disgusting (most likely cooked the day before...). It looked to me like the eggs had been ready for a while and stored in the oven. In my opinion, the whole breakfast experienced was bad. I stayed 2 days, and the 2nd day, I didnt even bother having breakfast there, even if it was included with my company negotiated price. This needs to be improved.On a personal note, one of the staff member needed a shower. Nothing to do with the hotel, just this single person. I guess that most employees know about the situation and cannot deal with it in a good manner. Overall, staff members were professional.
This place is a scam. They over charge credit cards. The manager is a crook who promotes unethical behavior. I will never stay at any hotel affiliated with the Hilton name. Always problems. The rooms are not clean and disgusting. Should be a truck stop hotel.
Lifetime Diamond member for years. Stay in approx 150 Hilton properties nationwide every year. My room was clean and as expected although there is a large stain on the wall behind the dresser the TV is on. Looks like someone knocked a soda or coffee off back there. Bed was typical HGI. Not the most comfortable and not the worst, and typical pillows (which I dont care much for). All my outlets in the room except for on the lamps have plastic blocking them....on the INSIDE. Like child guards you have to remove the plate to get to. Unusable. Odd. Didnt have breakfast but Im sure it was standard. Get a room furthest from the road if you can. Can hear some traffic noise. My biggest complaint...the TV channels. Worst Ive ever seen in ANY hotel Ive been to. 21 channels total. Had network and Fox but almost nothing else you want to watch. No good cable stations at all. Nothing. Most other channels on there are ones I never heard of.Updated. At this hotel again and it seems like the TV issue has been addressed. I now have a whole compliment of cable tv channels that were not here on my last stay so happy about that. However, not so happy that the room does not smell so good and it is very damp. Laying in bed and my sheets feel wet. The carpeting feels wet. Just damp. That is a sign of bad air conditioning. So, 2.5 stars now.Couldnt even watch the NHL Conference championship game last night because didnt even have ESPN. I normally complain about hotels having about 7 different ESPN channels taking up too much of its programming line, but this didnt even have one. Pathetic. No TBS, no TNT, no Discovery, no TV Land, no SyFY, no Science channel, no Discovery no Food Network.....nothing. I like having a lot of channels in my hotel room. If you dont watch at all then this is a nice hotel. This was a huge put off for me. Bored stiff while in my room doing computer work. May have to tell my company to put our pilot group back at the other hotel up the road we used to stay at. Staff was very friendlly to me though.
The room was actually lovely until I got home and saw I was charged $100 for spilling juice at 230am that I attempted to clean (McDs juice- so you can imagine). Adele Martin the manager is refusing to refund the funds like people do not accidentally spill things all the time citing "I could have called downstairs to ask for a cleanup" when everyone knows you can barely get a wash cloth at 230am let alone cleaning supplies to your room FOR JUICE. I will continually request my funds back through the HILTON DIAMOND customer service. Unacceptable. I have never had this issue with any Hilton brand I have frequented.
The room was cleaned daily and coffee and tea were available all day. Our granddaughters participated in the Junior Olympics, and it was only 20 or so minutes away from North Carolina A and T University where the event was held.
We were in Greensboro NC for the AAU Jr. Olympics. My daughter was competing. Thank goodness we only needed the room for Thursday Night. We were charged 350. for a room that normally costs 161. They jacked up the price just because of the event. I feel really bad for the families that had to stay multiple nights. SHAME ON YOU FOR YOUR GREED!
I’ve been here for a week now and I’ve been pleasantly surprised of the service I’ve received! The rooms are really clean and nice. I’ve eaten at the bar most night and William who is one of the chefs has been most helpful in making sure that I receive exactly what I want when ordering. He was very engaged with customer service and that goes a long way nowadays. Kudos to William and the rest of the staff for making my visit as enjoyable as possible!
Awesome! The staff was great, and so kind. Breakfast was good! The rooms were clean. Other than the pool being a bit cold 😁 we had a wonderful stay.
Great location; horrific customer service due to live children were asked to swit ch room on a Saturday. k no prob but when asked if animal free when offered a different room that reeked of dog which we love but are allergic, frmale manager was asked to disinfect refused then offered refund to card w/in 3 to 7 business days.Rude as all #1Discriminating connotation #2Family at pool with multiple beer cans #3Very itrational and condescending #4I will never go back to this location #5Ignorant and aware of todays current climate #6Now i made no complaints but 2 children making noise around or about midnight is not enough to be any of these concernsTake stink/unclean room or leavePAI location can trust will never have my support when it came to the manager
It was warmer in my room than outside. Why do hotels control the air conditioning at night??? I could not lower the temperature down from 70 degrees. In a room that I paid $250 for!! I called the front desk but got no answer and I was dismissed when I mentioned it at check out. I am a gold diamond Resorts member and Hilton rewards member but nothing was done. done at the hotel. Very poor customer service.
I visited this hotel while in town for a graduation. Upon arrival I was pleasantly greeted by the receptionist. The check in process was quick and efficient. The room was spotless and well stocked with all essentials needed to make your stay comfortable. Throughout the premises you can find Lysol stations to decrease the spread of germs. They also allow pets at this hotel, but you would never know because it is thoroughly cleaned daily. They also have pet clean up stations outside to keep the exterior clean as well. This hotel has a bar and food. The cook Robert is phenomenal. Not only is he a dynamic cook, but hes so personable and is eager to make sure all guests are well taken care of. The breakfast staff was also friendly. There is lots of food options to choose from. My son had the opportunity to swim in the pool. He loved every second! Overall, this property lives up to the Hilton standard. Its very clean, friendly staff, and loads of comfort. I highly recommend and will definitely return.
These people are the best. We had a situation where we had booked 3 room for 4 nights, and unfortunately 2 parties ran into some health issues and could not travel. This was after the last day we could cancel the rooms, but I called and explained the situation, and they first offered to just charge us for 1 night and refund the rest. Then later they email me and informed that due to the situation they would go ahead and refund the whole amount. Im so great full for their fantastic service and will definitely return to this hotel in the future.Again, thank you for this great service.
Wonderful Hilton. Your front desk staff made our day by accommodating us sooner than what we thought we needed. Check in was a breeze and not complicated. She was friendly and personable. The hotel itself is clean, up to date and has a relaxing atmosphere. A fireplace and a seating area greets you as you walk in. For weary travelers, this is the best. So cozy! Very modern and clean. Ice cold cucumber lemon water and coffee in the front reception area is always available, and appreciated. The rooms were clean and the hallways are kept up. If youre looking for a place to stay, look no further in Greensboro. Our place to stay from now on when in town. Didnt get a chance to use the pool, but it looked very inviting.
Breakfast was very good one day and incredible the next. The hospitality staff were gracious and friendly. The pool heater was being repaired but the chilly pool remained open. It seemed much cleaner than nice hotels Ive stayed at in the past, for obvious reasons, very notable.Would highly recommend to everyone, this place passes the vibe check for sure.
