Off I-74, this casual hotel with warm styling is 4 miles from Vander Veer Botanical Park and 2 miles from Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf.Understated rooms come with complimentary Wi-Fi and 42-inch flat-screen TVs, as well as microwaves, minifridges, and tea and coffeemakers. Suites add wet bars, living rooms and walk-in showers. Room service is available.Parking is free. There’s an airy restaurant and a bar. Breakfast is extra. Other amenities include an indoor pool, a fitness center and a 24/7 convenience store, plus a patio with a fire pit.
Nice clean rooms! Has a bar and food on site which is a plus also and the food we had was great!
Rooms we had were very comfortable, loved the indoor pool and hot tub was a great place to chill in the afternoon.Staff super helpful. My only gripe was the lack of black out curtains - the heater/A-C unit is under the window with only a thin curtain over it. Ok if you like waking with the morning light.
Made a mistake with my reservation. Called right away to change it. Had signed up for AAA rate. Apparently, it was non-refundable. They refused to work with me to change it. The deck clerk was sarcastic and patronizing, telling me I should have called for my reservation, and it would have been more understandable! Poor service. Charged my card today for my room that I cannot even use!
Left a wedding ring behind. No one submitted it to lost and found. Shady. Dont forget your stuff, or dont expect it back.
I left a very valuable piece of jewerly on the desk, shame on me. The hotel says it can not be found. I am so dissappointed in the honesty of the staff. If you stay here make sure you dont leave anything behind.
My mother stayed and accidently left her wedding ring of 35 years. Called right when she realized it and no one stayed in that room, only the cleaning lady was in there and guess what.....no ring. Be aware of your belongings and make sure you take everything with you. As well as if you have cleaning service in your room...take caution.
Great Location and as usual for Garden Inns perfect Service and Rooms.I love the Garden Inns for their reasonable Prices and their always Great Comfort.Alot of parking Spaces, friendly Personnel and great Breakfast.Always will be Garden Inns if possible in the location.
This is a nice place. The rooms are decent. The chlorine smell in the pool was intense. I went in once and that was it for me. It is conveniently located to whatever you need in the area.
The bar service was great and the outdoor patio is nice. But the beds are hard as rock and really not a good sleeping experience. Would not recommend.
The breakfast was great, the staff was pleasant and helpful, the cleaning crew was great too. Our room was well kept each time we left for the day..
The walls are paper thin. Very noisy. After changing room twice, getting next to no sleep in the process, we found that the coffee maker in the final room didnt work. The top floor elevator button was also finicky about activating. The stationary bike in the fitness room also didnt work. This location doesnt give a free breakfast. There are much better hotels in the area for what we paid to stay here.
Super clean close to the airport, Jill is phenomenal bartender that put up with my drunk ramblings for like two hours while there on a business trip. Good people good drink.
While the experience at this Hilton Garden in certainly qualified as acceptable for the price, it couldnt go much further. My partner and I booked a King suite specifically because it stated there were bathtubs in all the rooms. Upon checking in, we were surprised to find out that isnt the case, and that the staff didnt even know which King suites still had bathtubs, as most have been switched to shower only.Overall, a very average experience and one I couldnt recommend over another average hotel experience. Props to the staff for assisting us with our request, however.
Easy to fine. Wonderful help. Barbecue chicken strips were more like Jerry but everything else was good.
Super clean, nice stuff, got in late and left early, so the only downside was I didn’t get to enjoy it more. Comfortable bed = a good nights sleep. My ride got there early so I didn’t get to try the breakfast, :-(
Very friendly, helpful and accommodating, staff!I had a double birthday party Friday night for my 14 and 12 year old whos birthdays are just a few days apart, I had to reschedule from last weekend and was able to do so with no problems. The lady at the front desk even helped us with getting a meeting room that was free for the birthday. The lady at check out was very friendly as well. We will be coming back (without the kidsvery soon!!
When I checked in on Sunday 1/2/22, I was informed that the on-site restaurant would be closed on 1/2/22 & 1/3/22 for dinner. There was no forewarning of this either in an email or on the website. When I came down for breakfast on 1/2/22 I was informed that they were not serving breakfast even though my rate type was "Breakfast Included" again with no forewarning. One of the reasons I picked this hotel was for the on-site restaurant and the cooked to order breakfast. Very disappointed!
This is my spot to stay when I come to the quad cities. Attentive and friendly staff, pool and hot tub, on site bar and restaurant. Big gas station/convenience store right there. Excellent freeway access. In the middle of many good restaurants.
Even though we are GOLD members, no one at the front desk told us about the Food & Beverage Credit. I wasnt aware of it until I did this survey. It should have be mentioned to us when we checked in. HOWEVER, the hotel was very nice, clean and in a great location for our needs. I would definitely recommend it. Just be sure to ask for your credit if youre entitled to one.
I felt that the hotels customer service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful to ensure that my stay was great. Additionally, the care of my room was very good!!! Thank you for a pleasant experience.
Very clean and updated! One of the nicest Hiltons weve stayed at! My husband and I were particularly impressed with the breakfast...best eggs and coffee! Highly recommend!
ProsGreat location in the Quad City. The staff is excellent its a good hotel.Cons1. Gas station in the front parking lot which is convenient. But patrons there keep their basses on their music systems cracked up while pumping gas. Recommend rooms on backside of hotel.2. Never stay in Room 205. Not sure about the other rooms. But if someone is a heavy walker in room 305. It sounds like a herd of buffalos above.3. Also if someone in Room 203 is a heavy snorer. You will hear it.Overall I gave it a four star. The staff and rooms themselves make up for the minor inconveniences.....
I held my wedding here and to say my experience was amazing is an an understatement! The staff was kind and made sure my guests and me were taken good care of. My family enjoyed the beautiful hotel space and the ballroom. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
I had my reception here and honestly I tried so hard to be laid back about everything. Miriam the event planner was AMAZING. So sweet so accommodating just all around fabulous to work with. Unfortunately a majority the staff we dealt with that night was a different story. Not everyone was done eating by the time they started clearing the food and plates, hours before the event even ended they were trying to vacuum and clean the place up, the man at the front desk was incredibly rude to the guests that were checked into the hotel, 15 minutes past when food was supposed to be served my bridesmaid went to check where the server was and found him with his feet kicked up playing on his phone and he stayed there so we all just ended up giving up and serving ourselves, my aunt forgot her iPad in her room then called to check if they could bring it down for her about 2 hours later after being told no one had checked into her room and they now "cant find" her iPad which her find my iPhone app pinged at the hotel. The food was delicious, the bartender was nice, and some of the staff were very kind but honestly I wouldnt hold an event there or suggest people stay there after that experience...
We are staying here for 2 nights and I have to say this place that this place is one of the best places that I have stayed at with my wife. Am happy that they have took us on short notice. The staff is super friendly and awesome to talk to!!! They have alot of items that they offer. We are very grateful to stay at a place like this. Thank you!!!
Im adding a couple of stars because the hotel staff was very helpful and courteous, and the food was excellent. The obnoxiously loud exit door next to my room was annoying, but the fault for that lays more upon the designing architect and engineers than it does on the staff.
This hotel was one of the better we have stayed in except for one. We had a nice room and even though we had a big issue with our mini fridge, one call to the front desk and they had a maintenance man there in five minutes with a new mini fridge in tow. He replaced it and was out all in the space of ten minutes. There breakfast was really great to. We had a choice of eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, cereal, waffles, fruit, and muffins. I really recommend this place and we will be staying here again when we go back.
Held wedding reception there for about 150 people. Very clean and the food was delicious. Servers kept everything well stocked and food was nice and hot. The was very nice and good selection. Nice area for the dj and dance floor.
We stayed for three nights while we visited with family in the area. The first night, we discovered the fridge didnt work, and within minutes, they had a replacement. The second night, we had the McStompersons staying above us, who kept waking us up throughout the night, but thats not the hotels fault.I did pay extra for breakfast during our stay and it was worth it. They had a good variety of items on a buffet. The best part: when the malfunctioning fridge was removed, it spilled a good bit of water in the floor. We dried it up and the towels didnt look dirty at all which told us that the floors had been cleaned really well. If the floors were that clean, I can imagine they were as diligent cleaning other areas too.Overall, a good stay, and I will stay again when I come back to visit next year.
We stayed on June 4th and the curtains did not fully close in our room, nor did the AC actually cool the room to an acceptable temperature. Not to mention the night shift, I think her name was Andrea, was very unprofessional, and at one point in the evening when I was trying to call down to see if something could be done about the AC, no one answered. I let it ring a few times before hanging up and trying again, but my calls were not answered so we just dealt with the poor cooling. The only reason this hotel got a second star was because the kind woman who worked first shift, and the lovely breakfast spread that was available.
Quick trip, double queen room was nice, bathroom very clean and spacious. Would have enjoyed Hilton Garden Inn Bettendorf if the amenities (specifically poolwas available during our stay. The pool was closed due to chemical malfunction. Of course we want to be safe, but this was the main reason we booked this hotel with pool on our way through Iowa.
INSPECT your room, look at your pillows under the pillow cases. Feel how hard (firmbed is, might be better off sleeping in parking lot. Breakfast does not have decaff. Staff will just brush you off. But hey, we got 2 free bottles water. Sheets smell very strong of bleach. But bloody pillow under pillow case.
Predominantly satisfied: Some guests were noisy late on Saturday night; Breakfast inclusive availability or some form of voucher system would have been nice. Still, the staff was very helpful when I left an item behind.
Pretty decent hotel, the location has some places to grab a bite or shopping like sushi or some typical fast food/coffee places such as star bucks next to the hotel, Jimmy Johns. The bed was comfortable, the room is up to date.
Staff was great. From the front desk and the guys serving breakfast. The facilities were clean. There is a gas station and Starbucks conveniently located well within walking distance and the hotel itself is located right off the interstate making it very easy to head out wherever your destination may be and/or get back to the hotel.
Well cared for hotel. Pandemic restricts some activities and facility use but staff helpful and courteous. Room service food nicely prepared and delivered within reasonable time. Our trip would have been more enjoyable if the room above us would have had responsible parents. Children allowed to run and jump for over 2 hours. Contacted front desk and mentioned disruption. Was told family had arrived after long journey children working off steam probably. True, and it stopped for awhile, but resumed until 1AM. Started again at 7AM until after 9AM. My spouse is disabled and requires a lot of sleep, this was really a tough trip because of that. Too bad there isnt a " Family Section" to eliminate this stress for those without children in tow. Really should be able to relax too since we paid for a suite.
I really enjoyed my stay , even due to the Covid 19 pandemic. It was very clean, quite, and peaceful. I give it a 4 star. If the pool was a little bigger I would have gave it a 5 star but go check it out. You would enjoy your stay
I did not spend a night at this hotel, but I did stop in to use the ATM. They have it locked in their business center. The front desk manager very quickly let me back even though I was not a guest. The interior of the hotel looked excellent including a meeting Room that was private were a family was enjoying a take out dinner on the main floor and other spaces where people were able to relax. Theres also a pool and a hot tub and it looked like a very nice hotel right in the middle of a neighborhood. I would consider staying there if I did not live here.
Pretty good choice for lodging in the area. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is great at this place, however, it is not complimentary. There is also a Starbucks right next door if you need a good cup of joe in the morning. The only issue Ive had after a few stays here is that I did have a musty smelling room one time but it doesnt seem to be the norm. Id definitely stay here again.
