Hillbilly's Tralee in Tra Li

We love hillbillies food so we have tried it near Crumlin hospital and ennis and fermoy and now tralee and always the same results yummy food at a reasonable price

We ate there this evening lovely food friendly service will be back again.

Ordered my food over phone operator was very rude and gave me a sarcastic answer when I asked how long my meal wouldtake.

Very slow with phone in order for collection.

Very disappointed. Ordered online which I found to be very easy and received a text to say ETA was 60mins which was fair enough. 65mins in and I rang the restaurant to be told it was on its way, again fair enough. It clearly wasnt on its way as it was another 20mins before it arrived.Food was only lukewarm and the chips were soggy, also we were missing 1 chip, 1 gravy and 1 drink. I rang in relation to what was missing as was told the driver would be straight up with them, he did come back with them but not until 45mins later and the drink was still missing. Overall the chicken was average and the experience was very disappointing.

Fantastic! Best Chicken I have ever tasted..very friendly staff and I have to say everything about the place was fantastic. If I could leave a 100 star review I would !

Ordering online was a pain. The up-selling at every step of the ordering process got annoying.Arriving at the Tralee outlet to collect my order didnt give a better experience either. Only one young lady dealing with customers so my food was sitting quite some time before I received it.Meh, wont be bothering again.

Was is yesterday with my dad and had 2 burgers and chips,they were fabulous probably the best Ive ever tasted well done to the staff 👏

Will not let you eat inside if you are unvaccinated, they are discriminatory and a discrace.

They had an offer on the window, which I wanted. Left waiting at the counter for 5 minutes until the guy was good and ready to take my order. There was noone in front of me by the way. Then told that the offer was gone, even though they still have signs up. A queue had formed so we left without eating. Shambles of a place with rude staff. Seemed kind of dirty too, so we dodged a bullet I think. Went to Lana instead and had a lovely meal.

Absolutely top class take away. The chicken tastes better than KFC and they do a great range of finger licking foods . Really helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Staff are so rude. I showed I was exempt from wearing a mask and was told they wouldnt serve me. The funny part is they had a glass covering them they all had masks on but proceeded to take cash from people without gloves. Also the tables outside were filthy. No sense at all. I wouldnt give them any business. Absolutely ridiculous.

Ordered a takeaway on Sunday evening using the app....omg fantastic service...food was ready within time given...staff so friendly and all wearing masks when I went to collect order...the food, omg was delicious...really large portions..will definitely be my go to place when in tralee....

2 X chicken burgers and chips with the smallest garlic dip ever seen.How can you get chicken burgers to taste so bad... frozen disgusting chips in either burnt or cheap cooking oil .. Toilets closed for use.. Shocking set up ..

I get hillbilly every once in a while, chips n garlic are k but chicken tenders horrible i dunno what the fella in the reviews saying its lovely anywaysss once I had ordered chips n garlic with my mum and before they came it took about 2 hours a lady came to the door with the chips it was like garlic soup with chips 🍟 my mam sent it back they came back with the same chips ....another thing the bathrooms are disgusting 😒 😑 omg 😲 horrid like change those conditions please 🙄 🙏 😒 😑

My partner nd I went in too have a bite too eat. Ordered 2 snack boxes. They were lovely. Sstaff were nice.

I know times have changed, but i didnt realise they are that bad that a bowl of tap water is not available. To obtain a bowl of water after spending €16 on lunch including tenders for the dog, it was going to cost another €1.50 for a cup of mineral water. I dont think the dog knows the difference, because they dont use tap water! I wonder what they use for washing up?

Top notch, best chicken you can get in Tralee in my opinion, my go to is the 5 tender meal, garlic dip and gravy, good garlic dip (9.70eis a serious plus and staff are always dead on

Hillbillys Tralee has become a favourite of mine in Tralee. You can have a ifive piece chicken tender meal for under a tenner. Tasty sauces, good size chips, proper paper straws (slim, not like the ones in Mc Donaldscomfortable seating and friendly staff.

Shocking response from a manager when asked to make an order to a customers specification. Either the business model is flawed that they can only "drop" 32 pieces of chicken at a time or there was more panic about having to follow HACCP. Either which, the customer means nothing in this place and I think the cashier had more managerial guile than the other in charge. If I have to take any positivity from this, at least the hard working cashier and serving staff actually know how to deal with the customers. They should be running the establishment. If the owner would like to chat about it this I would gladly oblige

Myself and my aunts went to Tralee yesterday and went to eat at hillbillies. We were in awe of the young lady who served us. Her name is Erica and we have never seen such a hard worker. Erica was so engaging with every customer and had a constant smile on her face. This young lady would encourage us to come back and eat at this establishment. What a beautiful, pleasant and amazing worker this young lady is. Thanks Erica you’re a delightful young lady . Lisa , Anna , Agnes x

Best place for fried chicken, good value meal options but remember to order sauces as not included as standard

As a Southern American, this is not what fried chicken is at all, but if you need a cheap meal with some nice chips - its alright. Also meal deal with milkshake included is pretty nice.

only reason this exists because KFC is nowhere to be seen, full of rowdy kids awful environment but decent food for takeaway

Today I got new sample of the breast in the bun in a bap and its just melts in your mouth the manager who was so nice asked me for feed back guys Id highly recommend just unreal so tasty and like homemade and way healthier and I hope they will put this straight on the menu

Good food but lack of concentration, ordered ice cream in a meal never got it, walked up to the tills asked for my ice cream and left waiting for 10 minutes.

really nice staff, was served by one girl with a british accent, she was very nice and polite and speedy with her order, hands down to her. The place is always clean when i go in and there is always a staff member cleaning the tables on the floor. All staff i’ve dealt with currently have been the nicest bunch of people i’ve dealt with. definitely worth the five stars and would recommend them to anyone. great food also 🤙🏻

After a long day at work I decided to get a takeaway and chilling for the evening, instead of cooking when I came home, got a taxi straight away home and to find that the food was cold, I know the say its fast food but is also fast cold, #neveragain

Ordered food for take away today , only to come home and find out most of my order was not in the bag yet I was charged full price. This has happened on more than one occasion. Not even returning to shop to get money back. Disgraceful at this point. Shouldnt happen ever. Very annoying.

Really good chicken, chips are ok but their gravy makes everything delicious! Prices arent bad but the staff could do with cheering up and being more polite.

Hillbilly’s is such a great place to eat. The chicken is the most delicious around. It is very child friendly. We will miss the chicken for the next week while it is closed for renovations.

The food here is delicious and the service is fast. Its an annual trip to hillybillys after the rose of tralee is crowned! I love it here! Definitely worth a trip
