One of the beautiful views from my room at Hillview Hotel. Just across in the short video is the Sunday morning Kigali traffic and the towering brick building is the St. Famille Hotel and chapel, I could hear the melodious singing during the mass from my balcony!

Thats a fabulous hotel within Kigali city. Super tasty food with a nice serene and quiet environment. The rooms are super. Watch out for your bumber though when entering and exiting the driveway.

Our stay was booked for us thru the company we work for. Service was good, room was small but neat and clean. Food at the restaurant was good as well.However we did not enjoy the stay for the following reasons - 1the bathroom has no extraction fan, only a tiny window opening into the passage. Whenever we opened the window for fresh air the staff would push it closed. Due to this the bathroom had a mouldy smell. 2We were on the ground floor, it was very noisy! They busy with construction which started around 7 in the morning. Not nice being woken up to hammers and banging on the wall, especially on a Saturday morning!! 3There was a terrible sewage smell coming from the basement parking leading straight into the room in the evenings/early morning. 4Every evening during dinner there were one or two ladies sitting around trying to get the mens attention. One of the ladies did it to our business colleague, however he ignored her and she eventually turned her attention to another man. This was an uncomfortable thing to experience.We doubt we will return. It is well positioned but there are plenty other hotels in the area.

Clean, new building and friendly staff. Located close to Kigali city, barely a five minute walk to reach the UTC in town. Nice bars and even clubs close by.+ They offer a free shuttle to and from the airport.- For >100 Dollars per night youd expect a larger breakfast. The available items were fabulous, though.
