Nice park to walk and enjoy time with the family.
Great place for an outing, families with children, a walk or a run.6/2022Thompson Creek Trail runs through the park which allows people to walk or run along the path with family, children, friends or petsStill a great park.
This is a nice community park. The shade trees are plenty and the playground is nice for 2-10 +/- year olds
I spent alot of my time studying in between classes at this park or reading a good book. Plenty of shade & room to run. Nice quiet neighborhood, available parking, and really peaceful during the day. The trails are great too. Be careful skating on it, it tends to pick up speed, haha!
Such a cute park! My kids love the playground, especially the little train. Also, a few trails branched out of the park that is definitely worth exploring. This the perfect park to go to for everyone.
This park almost feels like a hidden secret but theres always kids for my sons to hang out with. They love climbing the boulders and running through the train. We also get a nice hike in too!
Great park for little kids, only thing missing is non-baby swings. Trail is nice for walking and theres a hiking path if you want elevation. Lots of shade, a few places to grill, a big area to run around, and several trees that are good for climbing. Plus the huge rocks! So fun! Parking is on the street.
Very nice park with paved and dirt trails.
Pretty park, only a train and a couple swings for kids but lots of grass area, beautiful trees, and trail to walk.
Beautiful Park! Has a lot of grass and trees for shade! The playground has a train playscape great for younger children and toddlers. There is also a rock pile for them to climb, a sand box and swing set! The park is very secluded and quite! Access to hiking trail.
This is such a peaceful place. Thompson Trail and Claremont loop are right by there. We walked the Thompson trail, which is about 3 miles up to the parking lot of the loop. A total 6-mile round trip. We did see a lot of fallen and uprooted trees from the recent winds. But the park is still as peaceful and beautiful as ever. Its clean and well-preserved. If youre looking for a location to de-stress, this is a great one.
Nice park with playground and entrance to a steep hiking trail and an easy walking path alongside the edge of the mountain. A lot of friendly walkers on the pathway. Beautiful scenery.
Day after crazy wind storm !
Great little tree-lined park for weekend gatherings. Nice open area for tossing around a football, playing catch, or having a picnic. Easy access to Thompson Creek Trail.
Went to take Christmas pictures with the family. Sara(Photographertook her time and took some amazing pictures. The park is very nice and their were other people taking pictures.
Beautiful place to walk and hike! Ive been coming here for over 15 years.. The only thing is the bathrooms. They are very dirty and smell like urine at times. Idk if there is a maintenance crew but the bathrooms in Claremont need more attention, very embarrassing.
Great park for kids. They have a train shaped playground, they have plenty of trees for shade, and a nice breeze from the mountains of Mt Baldy. Theres even a hiking/biking trail that runs right next to it. I highly recommend this park.
Nice park, great playground with large rocks to climb! Bathrooms were decent. Lots of shade and tables for picnic. Right along the walking trail. Large field of grass. We parked on Mountain and walked the paved trail to the park, but I believe you can park on the street in front of park; similar walking distance to the playground/bathroom area. We took our dog. Kids took their scooters/skateboards.
Great park lovely scenery great for photo shoots
This place is great for bike rides and walking... The playground is definitely meant for kids 5+. Its a small park but it has trails.
Cute little park. Connects to a nice walking trail. We were there after sundown, so it was pretty dark. Could use a few more lights, but otherwise a lovely place to take an evening stroll
Beautiful park. Very clean and calming. The trees and plentiful grass add a sense of relaxation whenever youre there.
This is a great park. So much fun for the little ones. Love the rocks to climb and playground definitely geared more for little Littles. Connects to Thompson trail so that is also convenient. Lots of shade and grass, great for a relaxing picnic.
Park is great. County leaders are not and anyone who enforces these unconstitutional Mask mandates should resign.Effectively inform the citizens. Evaluate daily. Lean towards liberty when governing.
So nice to take the kids to walk and play
Great park with relatively clean restrooms, green grass and a good mix of shade and sunny area. There is also a playground and natural rock hills for kids to play and climb. Im not sure of kids are allowed on the playground at this time. There are orange nettings at playground openings that have been ripped down and I did not observe any children playing on it when I visited. This park can be accessed via the adjoining neighborhood or via the Thompson Creek Trail.
I pass this as we walk the Thompson Trail starting at Towne Avenue. Its a green area, with trees, open area, playground, picnic benches and restrooms.(Childrens play area is taped off due to the pandemicDidnt stop the kids from playing tag and running around the park. Good for them!
Google tells me I was here, and I suppose I was--before and after my hike up Sycamore. I can say its a nice park, and families always seem to be enjoying themselves. Clean bathrooms, working drinking fountains, lots of shade.
Playground is designed for 2-5-year-olds but the whole park is lovely with climbing trees and picnic spots. Right next to paved Thompson Creek Trail, plus a bathroom with running water.
Beautiful place to walk or read a book. The squirrels are very adorable.
Theres a lot of people here biking, hiking, running and walking.
I love this park so much.... its kind of in its own little corner.... The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. There are three trails, and you gotta go to the end of the park to find em. Theres one to your left, right and then one big trail towards the north/east side of the park. Great for picnics and just hangin out getting some shade under the beautiful trees. :Oh and theres a little swing set for babies and a little jungle gym for the kids.
Great place for a family afternoon. Beautiful shaded areas, bbq pits & tables. Toddler playground was a great surprise, My 2 1/2 year old had a BLAST! Everything is geared towards the littles ❤ Very clean & well maintained, quiet & peaceful.
Such a cute place. My friend took me here and i was amazed at how much park there was. Just park your car and take yourself on a beautifully scenic stroll through this place. I recommend going at least once.
I like this park. It is a hidden gem. there is one small playground area that is shaped like a train. They also have rocks near the playground area that are good for climbing up and down. There is a large bike path and walking trail huge green areas to play whatever games you want in a good spot for a picnic but there arent any picnic tables theres also a hiking area I wish there were more playground equipment
Beautiful park with lots of willow trees and a great playground for kids. However the no dogs allowed rule needs to be better enforced as my kids had to keep trying to avoid dog poop in the grass and while we had his birthday party there people kept allowing their dogs to run freely or if on a leash get too close to our table of food. Otherwise Id give this park 5 stars.
The park has a lot of grass area with shade and a cute newish looking park. The trail off of it is paved and really nice to walk in the morning
The trails are killer but well worth it!!!
Love bringing my boys here for a picnic and walk. The scenery is beautiful and clean. There’s plenty of water fountains and it has 3 levels dogs, children, and adults.
Loved it. 10.7 miles and mostly shaded. We will be going back for sure.♠️.
Beautiful park with large grass area and bark playground. Bike trail (2 milesruns through the park.
Amazing park, lovely views and a great place to bring children!!
Loved the peace and quiet of this little sweet spot. Nothing better than a good run in this park
Nice trail to walk. Lots of shady trees.
Its a good park for toddlers and big kids. Theres a lot of grass to play on. Its a good park to go to on a hot day due to all of the shade. It backs onto the trail so could take kids for a walk to see the horses.
Great place to start a flat no incline walk. Park itself has nice kids playground and picnic areas. Restroom available. As for the trail... The surface on it can be hard for doggie paws, but theres also a dirt path along the wash that is more friendly to paw pads. Some of trail is shaded, mostly not. Connected to mountainous trails and the Claremont loop. Fancy houses and picturesque wildlife along the way.
Awesome set up. The play train is the main attraction, then two mounds of boulders to climb on, two infant swings, and an area with sand. The huge grassy area would be great for Frisbee or kicking a ball around. Great park that many people dont know about.
Best park in the area for little kids. The bigger kids will enjoy climbing on rocks and playing soccer on the large grass area. The park is connected to Thompson Creek Trail which is a paved trail that you can walk or ride bikes on.
Fantastic quite and well maintained neighborhood park. List of space for children and adults to run around.
Quiet well maintained park with large flat grass field and great train themed play structure for kids.
