My first time here today i go and ask for a piña colada and a trifongo de camarones very delicioso the cilantro salsa love it clean place. And my food was fast coming out i was in shock. Prices very good not expensive. Food was hot not cold . I ate everything and normally i dont eaty hole plate this te I did o was surprised but definitely was good good thanks

This place is amazing. There were not joking when they said its one of the best steaks in Texas. Staff very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. They also have great artwork. If I could give it more stars I would. The menue is small so youre not overwhelmed by choices. Will be driving from Dallas to have this place again.

This place is amazing! Elenid is a sweetheart, making sure that everyone is ok. We met Chef Wally who walks around to chat and make sure your every wish is taken care of. The arroz mamposteao was just wonderful! The camarones al Ajillo were cooked to perfection. And then came the cheese flan.To die for! Will be coming back!

You need to go here. I hope this place stays open forever! I am a big foodie from AZ and let me say this place .... I went her twice which is something I never do when I am in a new place (i want to try all the places aroundbut this place is worth going to atleast once a week.

Just came from Puerto Rico , like yesterday and eat here , and gotta say the food is authentic, and the prices are cheap .

This is Authentic Puerto Rican food, delicious flavor, friendly staff, beautiful decoration inside the restaurant, I had the Tostones with Pollo and Yuca Frita, Yummy!

Very good food, the service wasnt the best she forgot what we order like 3 times but overall the food was great so no complaints on that, one of the meals comes with some sauce but she put the sauce on the wrong plate, and when we ask she brought a new one but we got charged for the mistake she made, it was only. 75c but the point its it was her mistake not ours, plus the times she forgot the order :(

The food was so good, but the service was okay.. our waiter had totally forgotten about us and had to ask another waitress for the check to leave.

Absolutely loved our visit to this gem and we will be back. The service is fast, warm and friendly. The dining room is cozy and clean, and filled with interesting paintings to ponder and enjoy. The food is served hot and delicious! I literally felt like I was a guest in the home of a fabulous family. Thanks so much for a beautiful afternoon!

Hierba has a beautifully decorated interior and hosts locally painted artwork that hangs throughout the establishment. This restaurant has a very warm, homelike feeling.We ordered the Empanadas, Porterhouse, and Skirt Steaks. The food quality and taste was excellent.I was very impressed with how attentive our server was and how friendly she was, which certainly added to our dining experience.Overall this was a great restaurant to grab a quick bite at an affordable price. I dont feel like it was a waste of my time and money. A pleasant experience that I wouldnt mind trying again.

Love this place. They have delicious PuertoRican menu, great seasoning. All was delicious but I prefer my food hot, mine was warm, wait time was little longer than other days. The staff is very friendly and respectful, great customer service skills.

Me and my good friend went there for lunch and the food was AAAAHMAZING. I had the stuffed pork chops with shrimps, yellow rice and house salad. It was ALOT of food. We both enjoyed our food and you couldn’t beat the prices. I highly recommend this spot.

Amazing food with no frills and shrills. Made like abuela was in the kitchen. I can taste the love and effort in this plate.The NY strip was very tender and tasty. Forget about those other steak houses! Hierba Fresca is where it is at!

Food was absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and on a timely manner. When got the bill, I was expecting to "break the bank" do to the amount of food we order on my group. Surprisedly, it was really economic. Highly recommend!!

Excellent food with amazing service. This is the perfect spot to bring my clients for a lunch or dinner business meeting. If you go, then, you must definitely ask if Cheff Wally is in the kitchen. Give him a shout-out and let him know how great the food is.

My spouse and I have been here twice in the past month. The food has always been so fresh. I got the mango shrimp with two sides this past visit and it was fantastic! I had to take some leftover home, it was a lot. For the price you get a lot of food. Its worth every penny. And the service is top notch. For a little restaurant,it feels like home. Always a good thing. (The two sides are yellow rice and fried plantain.)

My favorite carribean / Puerto Rican restaurant in the area. I recommend trying the triple meat mofongo. I used to have to drive all the way to Austin to get this good of food, especially mofongo with meat in it.

This was my first visit to a location that I have heard about from other, so expectations we high. I was not disappointed. There was only one server during lunch, but the place was not crowded; just a steady procession of a few people leaving and a few people arriving every 20 minutes. The server was polite, and indulged me while I practiced my Spanish. That is what you mostly hear is conversational Spanish among the guest. The cuisine was every bit as good as I was expecting. Be prepared that the "steak house" does not appear to serve steaks until later in the day. That said, everything I sampled was similar to standard American cuisine with a Puerto Rican twist. Hierba Fresca is not inexpensive, and the flavors and food preparation deliver value. It was a 5 of 5 stars experience due to the courteous server and meal.

This place has the most delicious food ever! The wait wasnt that long either and our waiter was on top of everything. Our night happened to be BYOB and there was someone singing or playing the guitar every once in a while. Definitely will have to go back!

Great. The food is wonderful, the service is excellent and the prices are very good. The outside of the building made us wonder if we should try it but when we stepped through the door, the smell and charm of the inside convinced us that we were in the right place. I plan to go back.

My wife and I have been here twice. First time I would have given it 5 stars. Second time was a few days ago and the experience was not as pleasant. A young girl was our waitress and it seems that either its her first time doing this type of work or she is not really enjoying her job. Its all about the attention and the attitude towards your clients that makes them want to come back. We will give them another chance though because she couldve just been having a bad day. The food is delicious, made us feel like we where back in Puerto Rico. So far the best Puerto Rican food we have had near Fort Hood. The picture is Mofongo but they call it "Pilón" filled with Churrasco or "Skirt Steak" with a side of grilled shrimp and their mojito sauce is pretty good. Overall still a good experience.

Delicious, this is the only word I have to describe it. The food is beautifully made so it is both appetizing to the eye and the palette of your Puerto Rican you should visit and if your not it is an amazing experience to try.

My first time, i ordered "Chicharrones de pollo con tostones" and sweet ice tea, it was good. The hostess was kind, explained the food on the Menu and made some suggestions of what to try. Nice n clean. I told my friend, im going to bring my husband next time.

Good restaurants to try puertorican food. The place is not very fancy but the quality and presentation of the food was really impressive. Not to expensive.
