Hideaway Lounge in Shenandoah

We REALLY enjoyed this little bar two years ago. But it’s been taken out and replaced with a sales area. We were so sad. They haven’t taken down the signs and even the front desk didn’t realize it was gone when we checked in.

June 2021 - I dont know why this place still shows open 24 hours. This place does not exist now. It has been taken out of the water park just like the other restaurants at the indoor outdoor Water park here. Im dropping the rating to a one simply because it is poor that all these restaurants are still showing open and theyre not.2019 - The food here is reasonably priced and its also good food. The service is good and the servers and staff are friendly and professional. The setting here is above the water park area with glass windows so its a good view of the outside water park and the inside water park.

Great way to chill out while the kids are enjoying the WaterPark; Menu selection and portion sizes are good; Most evenings activities are taking place (Karaoke, Bingo, Trivia, etc.); Service is consistently pleasant and accommodating.

Love it....the prices are great. Nice view and love the theme nights especially Karaoke....I cant sing but Love 2 sing....🤣🤣🤣🤣Whenever we take our trips 2 MR...we will b visiting HLounge....

Great plàce for family and friends fun vacation. My family we are really enjoying ourselves. The rooms are great an spacious. 3 big an fully equipped bathroom. An the weather was really awesome. Swimming pool are great.

You must walk through the smoking area to get to the non smoking area.

Food tastes good and cheap compared to other places in the resort. Serve a lot of food.

Good food I can watch the kids swim in the pool. And play in the arcade.

Ordered an $11 dollar salad. Portions were small and had to wait over an hour for it to come out. Disappointed...

Staff is always friendly. Drink menu is fun. Appetizers could use a little work, 6 appetizers to pick from and 4 are chicken items=( For the prices though all menu items could use a little work. But great place to watch and wait for the kids to be done in the water park.

Decent finger food fare but has lots of room for better quality food and better selection. Menu is small...my order was delivered quickly and correct by a very good server and she made this review better by 1 star.

Its a great indoor water park with stuff for all ages. The have a cafeteria that sell food and snacks. They are really clean however that being said they will close the pool for cleaning if something happens which is good ,however we came there at 6 and just as we were about to get into the pool they closed it for over an hour which left us would less than an hour pool time and no refund due it to this contamination before they closed.

this trip was designed around my 25th wedding anniversary. Because I knew we had a full kitchen in our unit, I had every intention of cooking for a couple of days. Online you cant tell but this lounge is not really the feel of lounge. There are kids everywhere including in the water park down below this lounge. They have karaoke on Saturday nights but the DJs music is so unorganized it is difficult to find anything especially once you had a couple of drinks. He insists on everyone finding their own song, and doesnt appear to want to help you find anything. The karaoke was over at 9 although the lounge stayed open later. The food here is bar food, no other way to put it. Nothing classy or stylish about that. It tastes ok. Drinks are good.

Drinks were good, food was mediocre, worth going there for trivia night (that was fun).

The food was ok my drink was really good ... they lack in customer service especially my bartender ... it took them 55 minutes just to bring out chicken tenders and fries!! I ask to get it remove for my bill... which they did... Im giving them a 4 because my brother and his girlfriend loved they food and it look really good

Service was very slow. There were so many employees standing around and was kind of unfriendly was expecting more considering the environment and establishment. Food was pretty decent and hot saw they had to come up/down stairs to delivery the food which was inconvenient and seemed like a lot of exercise and extra stress . and its not on a severing tray covered or nothing just out in the open catching cold air as they walk/run food to you. All you smell is pool water which is kind of gross but you get used to it . theres an over priced arcade for kids which is convenient.

We walked in at 5pm. Maybe thats their shift change or something, I dont know, I hope so because the 1 out of 6 employees standing around that acknowldged" us put bev naps down and stared at us to tell him what we wanted. Literally no, "hi," no "what can I get you," nothing. As someone who has worked in the food industry currently for 11 years, this guy is a buzz kill, along with the others who completely ignored us.

They served an excellent breakfast, and the lunch items were pretty good.

We had so so much fun at Hideaway loud! It was a great family experience! The food there was fairly pricey but that goes with the territory I guess. Definitely had to hide going on the waterslide but the only big issue I had with the lounge was the hot tub was 18 and older and I couldn’t go in. I understand they’re trying to keep kids in loud teens out of the hot tub but I still found it frustrating because I wanted to go in and relax. Other than that it was enjoyable for our family.

It was cool water park could be a little better For the amount of money

If I can give negative star I would. The first dish came out after 45 mins. Still had to wait for other two dishes. We asked the manager and she was not that apologetic. The waitress was not trained well and every time someones food came out they had to ask the customers if it was theirs. The manager did not charge us for last two dishes but the chicken fingers were saturated in oil... even if it came out normal time we would not have ate it. The waitress was not that apologetic either. I would not go back there even if they would give us free food.

Service is ok best thing I can say about this restaurant. The wait for your food is ridiculous and the good was tasteless

Fun place with plenty of things to do, average food, they need to hire more wait staff they are always thin.

This here Restaurant is located in McGaheysville, Virginia at the 1200 Adventure Dr, Massanutten Resort.

Avoid this place if you can, food is average at best. Service is also average, would recommend it to anyone unless you are dying for some food.

Food is really good but you are at a resort so expect resort prices. When we were here the last time service was really slow but weve been here before when the service wasnt an issue. Nice beer selection wine and cocktails.

Atmosphere is very family oriented with waterpark view and arcade next door, so you dont need to worry about your kids making noise. Service was poor.

I would put zero if I could. Ate here today and my daughters hot dog bun was molded! Manager came out and said sorry. I asked for a free meal next time ,his reply was no . Not eating here again

I was a little unsure after reading some reviews if we should try this place or not. Well we did and I completely regret it. Very understaffed. Our waitress only checked on us when she brought our food. The burger was tasteless. Mixed drink tasted like there was no alcohol in it, and the cup they served it in was a broken plastic cup that had been glued back together. Would never go back!

Tables were a little dirty, service was pretty slow and the food was was mostly bread ...very little substance...the trivia night is fun though

Its nice for where it is. Very small and fills up very quickly especially on karaoke night and for bingo !

Way too crowded. Took 10 minutes to get a drink, then after I got it, they said their credit card machines were down.

Good view of swimming area. Need more variety of food and better selection of chicken strips, they are overcooked and have no flavor.

Emanuel was a wonderful waiter and the karaoke was a lot of fun

Food is okay at best. The kitchen is on a other floor so food can take an elongated period of time to arrive. Service can be good to awful. However, there are not a lot of options in the area. Prices arent bad. Id pay more for better quality food and service.

Asked to be seated, then for someone to take our order. We split a burger and side salad (told we could replace the fries with a side salad, but charged 2.95 to do so without being told we would be charged). Side salad was basically wilted lettuce with some brown pieces and two old slices of cucumber and two cherry tomatoes. Son’s mini burger was pink inside (be sure to check). Anticipated poor food having read some reviews. At the end I asked for the bill after I said we were done. Oh well, had massanutten money to use before we left so otherwise would have chosen elsewhere

Grossly understaffed on New Years Eve. Disgusting margaritas with a candy like sweet and sour mix that is worse than anything at a grocery store. Had 5 meals ordered, only one arrived.

Service safe at front counter were unprofessional & unprepared for Thanksgiving crowd. Should have let everyone make reservations not just a selected few.The food was fair at best.

If I could give a 0, I would. Horrible place that took FOREVER to get the food out. Shouldve ordered, gone to play for an hour, and THEN come back for food.

Horrible first time here and just horrible. Overcooked food flies in the my wifes drink. Burnt fries burnt burgers just burnt ashes to ashes. I had the Pit sandwich it was dry and not cooked in a pit. Chicken nachos where horrible soggy and nasty the chicken was out of a can.Waiter was good.

Simply horrible! No one greeted us upon arrival. After waiting at the front of the restaurant for a few minutes we thought we were suppose to seat ourselves, so we did. 5 employee were working, checking on the two other tables of people, deliberately ignoring us as they walked by. Finally, after the bar tender also ignored us, we decided to get up and leave. Still, not a single one of the 5 workers said a word. Dont bother with this place. If there services is that bad, I am afriad of what happens in the kitchen.
