Hidden Sanctuary Hotel and Resort in Baliuag

Great Location but attitude of staffs are terrible. Filthy cottage area and broken facilities. Owner must improve this for this coming 2023 for a better class B resort. Right now I do not agree if this is C. It might be a D. Photos are attached. 1 star out of 5 is my current rating unless it will be improved next year.

Large venue . Good for family outing

The service with sir arvic is good and very responsive.. but the room is not good theres no hanger for the clothes and the aircon is leaking in the wall & floor..

I think, the customer service is not good enough. Since we stayed in the hotel, we were there for 2days and one night. The receptionist on our first day is not polite at all. They should have welcomed everyone properly. I dont like her aura. Second, The room is clean but as you go outside, it stinks. The windows and the lobby are not really clean. I dont know if theyre cleaning it everyday. I like that the resort is very spacious but they shouldve maintained it. I hope, they improve their customers sevice and their facilities.

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY POOR! THE OLD MAN WITH A READING GLASS WHO IS PUTTING THE STAMPS ON YOUR ARM AS MARKER IS RUDE AND ARROGANT AS IF HE OWNS THE PLACE ALONG WITH THE 2 OTHERS ON DUTY WITH HIM THAT DAY. THE GUY WITH A ROUND EYES AND CURLY HAIR WITH ACNE MARKS ON HIS FACE (SORRY FOR THE WORDSTHEY ARE YELLING ALSO WHEN YOU JUST WANT TO EXPLAIN YOUR SENTIMENTS WHICH IS INAPPROPRIATE AS WE CUSTOMER OF COURSE WANTS A GOOD APPROACH, HE JUST APOLOGISE WHEN WE TOLD THEM THAT WE WILL TALK TO THE MANGAGEMENT LATER. THE MANAGEMENT SHOULD RETRAIN THEM ABOUT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HOW TO HANDLE CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS.IF I WERE YOU GUYS, IN MY HONEST OPINION, GO TO SOME OTHER PLACE INSTEAD OF RUINING YOUR DAY SPENDING IN THIS PLACE

The place is clean, but smell coming from a piggery nearby is terrible.

It was ok. Rooms got so many mosquitos. Difficult to request anything either they dont have it or they dont know.

HORRIBLE. The pool has too much chlorine, The cabanas are so dirty arent there cleaning staffs? The bathroom is really dirty too. I havent check the hotel yet.. But the waves was fun. And why does the whole place stink? We need some cleaning staffs right now... and this place needs to be fixed. 1 Star.

It exceeded my expectations for the Philippines. Only thing that could have made it more enjoyable would have been warm water for the shower. The people were very friendly, the breakfast was always very good

Very unclean murky water with floating leaves. Also, broken restroom doors with no "tabos" with lack of water flowing leading to unsanitary, bad smelling restrooms. Also, lack of showers. It is also very dark during night swimming making emergencies "hidden". Along with that, there are no lifeguards. It was still very fun though. Fun but stressful.

Great spot if youre just looking for somewhere to chill in a pool. The entance fee is just P120 per head.Ive seen 2 big pools, not tiled, with water proof paints so dont expect too much. My gf and my friends said the other pools water felt itchy on the skin so probably it is not maintained well. But the other pool is just fine. The restrooms are a bit old and some parts are dusty but not filthy looking.We enjoyed staying there eating at the cottage and chilling while drinking. Not sure if you have to pay corkages when bringing in liquors but you we bought beer from the resort as they sell them there.So if you just want a place where you can hang out with your friends and have some pool chilling, this resort is good for you.

Hidden Sanctuary is overall GREAT! The personnels are professional and friendly. Youll really see that they know what theyre doing. They will provide your needs and answer queries directly. The room is spacious and the comfort room is clean. Air-conditioning is satisfactory. They have a separate pool for those who are renting rooms which is clean and well-kept. Rates are very reasonable and worth it.Areas of improvement:Food services are not available.No stores for swimming stuff.

Very Accomodating Staff, social distancing and health protocols are strictly implemented by the staff. So rest assured you are safe during your stay.

The place is nice and cozy, though there are some restrictions due to the pandemic.

Good Place to Visit. Accomodating people will welcome you. With some Restrictions when it comes to Health Protocols. The area is calm good for Non Swimmers and Kids :-Stores and goods were accessible. Accomodations are well kept and with complete ameneties. It was a perfect place to to escape from the Metro :-Rates are afforadable and negotiable.

If you are staying in the hotel with private pool, it is not too bad but staying in their Gazebo, sorry it is a No No for me. On the whole, it is quite pleasant

There is a lot to do here, unfortunately, we went at the time of pandemic so we were limited with just 1 small pool. Even so, the facilities are bang for the buck, really calming ambiance, and accomodating staff. If there is one thing that id like for the resort to improve is their bathrooms. It is not a good bathroom even for the standards of cheap motels. It would also be lovely if there was a cafeteria or a pub or any entertainment places open at the time but since it was the pandemic, its all closed. However, even with all its short commings, we cane here to relax and it satisfied our vacation cravings. It has its own charm that some expensive resorts can never get.

Been here 2x now, everything was fine. I love their private pools and their dining room, we were served politely and nicely. The service here was very good and amazing. Though the kiddie pool was very kiddie and weird, we had a good time! I also love nature and the look of the hotel and pools and also in the morning, it was relaxing and we went on a morning walk. Recommended for the people who want to swim and walk around it.

The wave pool is nice, decent view.Staff are accommodating,Its good to visit here at early summer without too much heat in order to full enjoy it.

1. Bathroom not clean grimmy and heater doesn’t work.2. Awful smell of piggery waste nearby very hazardous to guest especially to children .3. Cottages are dirty not well maintained .4. The only positive thing in this resort is the staff that I commend and very concerned on their health because of the foul smell of livestock waste all day long .5. I will extremely caution families with children to avoid this resort the looks are deceiving if you even care about the well being of kids.6 . Never did I experience disappointment in all the hotels and resorts I have been to in my life and this is my first ever review since the internet was invented 😩

We stayed at the Superior family room good for 4, enjoyed an accommodation good for four, bathroom was nice especially the shower with its unique handhels fine shower and car wash body shower, was clean, with free toiletries but the floor was flooding maybe coz of the floor level not leaning to the drainer. I tried the kiddie pool and it was cool, the.lingayen gulf was okay but they didnt turn on the waves, a few.people using them and the karaoke, too. Other pool was not available. Be careful witj the bridge due to uneven level of metal and wood flooring. They have no canteen in the hotel but has a menu that can serve guests. Resort users can use the grill, sink, and have cottages if they rent. Good for family fun, affordable resort and nice hotel. There is a poultry and carabao lake nearby but we werent able to smell at all. Hotel staff are good. Recommendations: the facilities need upkeep and maintenance such as repainting. It is also good to have a kind of a zoo as they got space for that.

Staff are friendly and very helpful. We stayed in Standard room overnight. Room needs deep cleaning, toilet was not clean, sheets need to be replaced, water heater not working. Pool is clean and nice. However, when we went back after midnight, there were people next to the pool playing very loud music. I have to call reception twice to do something about it.

Had a blast!Celebrated an after wedding swimming with our relatives!Had a business court basketball hoop! 🏀Could have placed it on its own safe space rather than in the middle of the intersection on the back parking lot.

Good accomodations and clean place but they not gonna activate the wave pool until they dont have much people. But I like the place but clean the pool every day or have a pool cleaner roaming around the pool.

Hotel room 204: refrigerator not working, tv remote not working, bathroom floor pools of stagnant water, was not served with bathroom amenities, hotel staff served coffee in sachet and did not bring cups with hot water when requested.Hotel pool is clean, bed sheets smells clean, staff could improve with hospitality and enthusiasm to receive and attend to guests

I dont know if I just have a high standards, but they should know what real cleanliness are. The bathroom... I dont know how to define it. You cant take a bath here properly. I will never recommend it.

We were check in for 2 days and the costumer service was nice and polite, the breakfast. its ok it wasnt great but not bad the pool was clean nice and cool overall it was a great stay.

The staffs are very accommodating and approachable... the designs and total appearance of the resort are nice and very entertaining. It is good that we have this kind of resort here in bulacan area most especially in marilao ,the price is very reasonable !

The place os nice. The day we book in is not that crowded. We were able to enjoy every pool specialy the wave pool. The accomodotion is nice. The place is clean. At night the pool is realy cold wich we enjoyed because its realy hot in the morning and afternoon. Its a total experince for my family. Thanks hidden. Keep it up

Its holy week and my family decided to book in hidden we are a group of 10 with 4 kids and we can dfntly say that the accomodation services are very nice and satsfying. Will defntly recomend for staycation or for relaxation 😀 keep it up guys.

It was excelent service. I book im hodden beavuse i have some busisness to do in bukacan. I was able to relax while doing my work and theres no any problem encounter. The hotel service is very nice nd accomodating and at night i was able to use the private pool. It was a plesure experience.

Honest review. Im still checked in here and will check out tomorrow. <br/>To be honest the customer service is amazing. The private pool is clean and not crowded. The room im in with my family is ok but the AC feels like its not working properly. They provided fan as for my request but still, its warm inside since it is also SUMMER now. <br/>In the resort, since my cousins wants to use the pools ive rented a large nipa hut. Its spacious but OMG... there is a lot of flies when we arrived. The pool is ok, i cant say much since its for public so i cant complain.<br/>Honestly, ive got disappointed with the room that i booked because of AC. Theres no descent restaurant inside as well. The price is pricey for the room thats what i am feeling right now.

The place is ok, the room ok but the sliding door to the pool was broken, they havent fixed it since last year. I think the rooms need to be renovated.otherwise the hidden sanctuary is a perfect get away to have a family or friends reunion. ❤

Best Hotel and Resort weve been so far. The crystal clear water and whole ambiance were great. We will surely come back again.

I was so disappointed with them! I got some skin reaction because of too much chlorine on the water. .Theres a phlegm floating on it. U cant even open your eyes cause of high chlorinated! Disgusting!

Place was good enough if you want a quick escape from stress.Need to improve their service. Accommodation was good.Entrance fees and rates were good.Ice Wave was one of their highlight.It was fun and icy experience here.

SKIP THIS PLACE!! NEGATIVE!! POORLY MANAGED!! may rules shower before swimming... but group of guest dive in without taking shower iam peetaining to a group with almost 20 pax up... and the management didnt even stopped then doing it.. we checked in at their hotel to have private pool atleast... BUT sad to say dirt from outside just dump into the pool wearing same clothes from outside... i dont suggest or recommend this resort.. find another place...

I visited here two times:1st Night Swimming, the experience was good we stay in the hotel, there were few people and we enjoyed our stay. There was a time that we smell foul odor, there were I think piggery in the area and it lasted almost 10 minutes.2nd: Day tour, the experience was pretty bad, disorganized and crowded. It was not managed properly. We had some argument with our cottage because no one is there to assist us.I would recommend going here on non peak season or go on night swimming.

SKIP this place and go somewhere else. It is poorly managed with staffs that would rather play on their phones or have a chat with their co-workers than assist you with your needs. HSHR has two wave pools. During our stay, one wave pool was dry/waterless while the other was not working. We tried to plea for the waves to be turned on because we were a group that booked four rooms and had kids that would appreciate the waves but they reasoned out of the minimum 100 guests needed before they could switch on the waves. No one told us about this policy nor gave us a discount on the full price we paid for the hotel including the entrance fees upon arrival. The hotel was also poorly maintainned. No WiFi. Rooms have no AC remote and you have to call the lobby every time you need the AC temperature adjusted. Also, the dirty curtains are not thick enough to block the daylight so be ready to be disturbed from sleep when the sun rises. One of the beds squeals with the slightest movement and another one has a gum stuck on its headboard that no one cared to remove. Breakfast comes with a sachet of coffee but no room has an electric kettle so all of us had to go to the lobby where there is one for the entire hotel to use. Elevator was also not working so be prepared to use the stairs all the time. The place is near a farm so expect some foul smell from a pigerry from time to time. We are a group of professionals and frequent travelers so our stay would definitely be our first and last. I cannot recommended this resort or hotel to anyone so I suggest you find another that could give better value to your money and time.

Resorts atmosphere does not really live up to the name hidden sanctuary. The landscaping was meh, more paved roads than actual greenery, and the pools outside were mostly odd shaped ones that you cant do laps in.They do have a long special pool exclusive inside their hotel facilities, which was nice. The hotel rooms were also elegant too, complete with amenities.One other downside, they keep a couple of monkeys in cages. And sometimes the smell of a neighboring pig farm wafts into the resort area. Not nice.

great for summer night party with friends. Live band was great but only one huge swimming pool for adults. needs additional pools and facilities for guest.

Wave Pool Party was lit. Ice blocks and foam will be thrown into the pool while everyone gets swayed by the waves with matching party anthems. I think everyone enjoyed it. They have two big wave pools, a kiddie pool, and another private pool for their hotel guests.However, this place needs to improve on their maintenance. Pool water was already murky when we arrived for a night swim. The place can also get too crowdy on holidays. They just keep on accepting people even if the cabanas, huts, and rooms are already fully occupied. Hence, some people were displaced in the resort. Some even resorted to makingvtheir cars their cabanas nalang. Kinda inconvenient. I dont think im going to this resort again.

This is resort is horibble and I will never go back again even if it is for free. The area smells like pig poops.it is a sanctuary of flies and mosquitos. the hotel services are sucks and no amenities provided.the pools are saksakan Ng dumi.

Me, my husband and my son were here last February 2016.. They said the only room left was a room at the 2nd floor with 2 single beds and that we can check in at 3pm because they apparently need to clean it so I asked them what time is our checkout time since the real check in time is 12pm., they said we really need to checkout at 10am the next day. Since our 3yo sons wish is to go to a beach resort so he can play with sand and it was holiday that time, we decided to get the room. Afterall, i was looking at their website checking their rooms and amenities and it looked good. i got interested because they highlighted that they have a spot where there is sand, they have 2 wave pools and their rooms have refrigerator, water heater, with free breakfast etc. But to our dissappointment, the room has no refrigerator, the aircondition has no remote! If you want to adjust the temperature you will have to go to the front desk and they will adjust it for you by going to your room and using the remote control that they wont let you borrow for some reason! There are no towels and you have to go again to the front desk to request for one. There is a telephone inside the room but they said they do not have a front desk number so you really really have to go down everytime you need them!!! The kiddie pool was dirty! if youre hungry, you have to go out of the resort because they do not have a restaurant or even a small store inside. The part where there is sand was closed says the sign (do not enter), only 1 wave pool was working, the other was under maintenance.,Oh and the best part was that the water Heater was not working!!!!! And When we woke up the next day we found out that we need to go down again to the front desk to get the free breakfast! Breakfast was 1 cold rice 1/2 longganisa 1 cold egg in a styro and instant coffee! Wow! And they call it a hotel!! I will never ever recommend this resort especially their hotel! I forgot to provide my review after our experience but i saw that this resort was featured in a tv show and the reviews and their experiences is like the direct opposite of the reality!!!!
