Hidden Haven in Belmopan

We quite enjoyed our time here. The hosts were very hospitable and everything was very clean and tidy. The location is good for exploring the San Ignacio and Belmopan areas. I would recommend this place to friends and family that visit the area.

This is a lovely place located in the Cayó district in the Country of Belize. I personally can tell everyone that my family and I had a lovely stay. The pool was very welcoming and the host are very amicable. The rooms were clean and spacious. Definitely recommend it to everyone.

David is a great host, he kindly oriented us on day trips in the area. The cabins are functional, clean and perfect for large groups. The pool is the best. We got tucans every morning around us. The hous is close to ATM and the archeological sites. We recommend the breakfast and the fries. It was perfect all around.

Stayed in cabin few years ago. David and Elaine very friendly. They have added lovely pool, since we have been. Enjoy Jacks shack for beer and good food.

Lovely little place Dave was plesant, very clean, quality towel, loved that they recently installed a salt water pool, great shower pressure. Jack was awesome made us a wonderful meal. We only stayed one night but the place was perfect! Thanks!

The host Elaine and David were very polite and welcoming. The food at Jack shack was amazing. The pool was clean and warm and it was a great change of scenery for me. I will be visiting Hidden Haven again for sure.

Hidden Haven is outstanding! The grounds are beautiful and the people even more. Recently had a stay of several nights in one of the Cabanas while motorcycling through Belize. The stories we heard, and shared, from the family owners and guests were in and of themselves so incredibly interesting I will go back. Everyone treats you like family and Jack’s cooking is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I can’t say enough about them, go stay, it’s definitely a place you’ll never forget!

I was curse out by the managerWe wanted to go take pics by the pool and we end up taking our drinks for the pictures!And the Manager literally curse us outHorrible horrible horrible I do not recommend going here

The name of this establishment definately matches the mood. Its heaven in hiding! Customer service is 100000% amazing. The owner, David is a very humble and welcoming. The cabanas are highly recommended. The pool and ambience is to die for Comfortable, discreet and natural. If you are ever looking for a good time. Hidden Haven is the place!

Its an amazing and quiet get away. I love it.

A quiet cabin retreat in the jungle. A piece of heaven that I would love to keep a secret. A wonderful place to go birding, or a quick jungle hike on the property. It was super easy to relax and lose the day by the salt water pool. Dave, Elaine, and Jack are wonderful host and made my family feel at home.

An awesome retreat but easy to get there. Thanks to Jacks unbelizable food and to a nice saltwater Pool i stayed longer than i intended.It is nice and quiet an the facilities are clean. Surrounded by plants,trees and wildlife it was easy to relaxe.The lodge is close to a lot of sights (caves, ruins, waterfalls). The hosts can hook you up on a tour.

We visited Hidden Haven a few times - we kept returning to Jack’s shack, which offered us great food, beer and company, as well as a fab full English breakfast! A really great place to stay, eat, drink and relax, Hidden Haven would definitely have us visiting this part of Belize again.

Hands down the best quality accommodation I have seen in Belize for the price.. and we have been to many locations in this country! This place is outstanding. You are welcomed with smiles and warm conversation the moment you step out of your car. You get your own, private cabin in the jungle (including wi-fi, air conditioning and a full kitchenamong beautiful shade trees and great landscaping. You get to use the crystal clear salt water pool. You get to hang out in the hammocks on the top floor deck. You get to use the pool table in the community lounge. You get to use the basketball goal. You even get your own personal chef who serves great bar drinks and amazing burgers (among other menu items)! I truly did not expect this level of awesomeness and will most definitely be returning! This is 100% our go to accommodation for the Cayo area. I would actually drive a couple of hours to stay here instead of another location closer to me just to have this level of satisfaction again. Excellent work guys!!

Hosts are fabulous and very helpful. Jack the chef does a super job cooking and bar tending too. Loved the pool great for laps even. Highly recommend the place. It is very convenient to the area attractions.

After a hazardous stay in Hopkins we drove far out and ended up in Hidden Haven. What a relief, the host Dave is so kind and he explains everything about the accommodation and things to do around. This family run business has an excellent location for visiting many ruïns or do the famous ATM tour. We had a rental car and drove around and each time we got back at our lovely bungalow and the fantastic swimmingpool. Jack has his shack here with great food and we would advice you to try his stir-fry wok dish!The bungalows were comfy, good and complete kitchen. WiFi works great. For birders: plenty of birds to be seen on the location of the accommodation. There is even a trail to follow. We spotted a Tucan!This lovely host family made us feel welcomed and at home. We would definitely come back if we had the chance.

Dave and Elaine are absolute gems! Such a quaint place for getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Dave took us around and explained the land! A little mini tour guide! Make sure to add this to your list when visiting Belize and sit outside at night and listen to the jungle! Thank you Dave & Elaine!

Its beautiful lot of trees n nice shades. Very quiet place nice for a family good for readers.

Great place to stay. Stayed in group dorm. Bed was comfortable and the price was excellent. View from back of dorm is wonderful. Make sure and keep an eye on the hummingbirds. They will keep you entertained. Nice English breakfast in the morning. Good start to the day.

Great place, owners live in a house nearby and are always helpful with reccomendations and advice. I ended up staying here longer than expected because I loved it so much! Great place!
