Great place for the family. Place is well kept.
Perfect destination for a quick getaway! My husband and I got here at 2 in the afternoon but the weather is still perfectly cool.Driving was a bit of a challenge specially if youre not familiar with the area but its definitely worth it!We roamed around the camp but opted out of swimming because we didnt have swimming clothes prepared but were definitely going back. Will post additional photos of food and the actual camp once were able to go back 😁Note: Hibiscus Camps Entrance Fee is just 100php for the entire day
MoreLove the view
Very lovely place. Cold water in the pool. Very refreshing. Quite far but its worth the travel
MoreLocation can only be seen by the swimming pool.
This place is relaxing ❤️I hope to see more flowers soon. I honestly appreciate this beautiful scenery. I honestly pray that itll be close to some kind of cafés in Thailand. I suggest you add some fish pond with cafe serving coffee nearby. Please do search for forest like cafés in Thailand like Tiphawa Café, Juad Café, Very Good Coffee or Bubble in the forest ☺️☺️☺️
MoreOh my, that was wonderful experience. The place is commendable and I have enjoyed my stay fornfew hours. Looking forward to come back again.
MoreBeen here for some time now. Still a good place to unwind 😄
Relaxing place to visit they have own chapel 💒
They call it as “Little Tagaytay”, and probably is. But this place has it’s beauty and uniqueness that could be a start of making a name without comparing it with other places. Such a great journey going here!
MorePlace for family gathering. Nice view. Place to breathe fresh air.I dont know how much the accommodation is but there will be an entrance of 100 per head for whole day all around taking picturesPlace is crowded during weekends and holidays.
MorePerfect place to relax and enjoy with your love ones
Good place to relax and unwind with your loved ones. Its indeed little Baguio of Camarines Sur.
MorePerfect for family or friends. Lots of cottage to choose from. Has pool for all ages. You can definitely appreciate the area if youre a nature lover. The location can be confusing because theres no signage outside the camp.Ps. You cant see the Mayon from here.
MoreThe place was good was water was cold and refreshing. The view was great on some part of the camp. This place was affordable also. Though I would not recommend it if you are planning to travel with a family that include a senior as the stairs can be challenging for them.
MoreGood place to unwind. You can see Pacific Ocean from the camp. Friendly staff. There were guests smoking inside the camp premises which i hate, kaya 4 star lang. Hindi din available ang hibiscus pizza nila, 11:30am pa lang, madami daw naka pila eh.
MoreWe had a great time taking pictures and enjoying the view. The kids went for a swim the pools looked pretty tempting despite the cold weather that day. This is a perfect place to spend the weekend with family and loved ones. The caretaker was accommodating ang gave us a discount😄. This is our second time to visit and we just couldnt get enough of the place.😊
MoreThe whole place is very relaxing. If you feel sad, tired, or depressed..I highly recommend Hibiscus Camp. Enjoy!
MoreGreat place, amazing, very exciting views and very relaxing nature. We visited here May 30, 2019 last year. But we did not enter inside hibiscus coz that time its already 3:30 pm. The closing time of hibiscus if im not mistaken its 5:00 pm. So, we takes pics outside the hibiscus place to be enjoyed ourselves and also to be relaxed and to enjoy the beautiful and amazing views. Up to now, I do not foreget that moments and I want to visit again but we come early for sure to feels the natures in the long time. And the parking is along the road anyway.
MoreQuite crowded and the fee of entrance is quite expensive. Better much to create more pool or have expansion. Yet great place and natures really comes in.
MoreWhy go North when you can experience a little taste of Baguio here in the South just an hour drive away from Naga City? I have once featured the Ocampo Deer Farm and Strawberry Farm here on this blog way back in 2015 and I can pretty much say that the Partido area seemed to have really claimed the title of “Little Baguio of Camarines Sur” with this new tourist destination located right at the top of the Consocep mountain.Just recently, photos at Hibiscus Camp has been left and right in different social media. As far as I know, it is a private owned place. According to my aunt, who happens to know the owner told me that it was really a private owned place until someone posted about it on social media and how to get there. Since then, many people have been visiting the place and mostly, came from far places so they didn’t have much choice but to open it to the public. With just that one post, you were able to see how powerful social media influences us to the bandwagon effect as well as how suddenly millennials are engaged to vanity and turning it like some kind of competition too (it is a sad state to think that this is the reality tho like who was the first to discover the place and who has the most beautiful photo taken). The place became the new tourist destination in Camarines Sur as well as place for photoshoot. But looking at the positive light, millennials became tourism promoters and advocates themselves for every post counts as a promotion especially those who posted guides on how to get there. The Hibiscus Camp is owned by Dra. Dada Briones-Llaguno. According to my aunt, the owner loves Gumamela flowers which has the scientific name “hibiscus rosa sinensis” thus, giving the place the name “Hibiscus”. She built the place for relaxation and enjoy the beautiful scenery. It being a tourist destination was never part of the plan but due to the influx of tourists visiting every day, made it their new business. They now ask an entrance fee of P20/head for maintenance. However, there are still no fixed rate for those who wanted overnight stay and rent the entire place for occasions/photoshoots but they are open for that possibility as well. There is also a plan for making a coffee shop camping round and resort, a swimming pool is also in the works. So I got those information from my aunt who happen to visit the place with her friends a day earlier and knows the owner. I visited the place the day after their visit with my GETS Travel family; making it our company excursion. We rented a van for convenience but I will be posting here as well how to get there by commuting through public transportation based on what was taught to me on how to get there if on budget trip. How to get there by bus: (From Naga)1. Take the bus from Naga to Lagonoy. Then drop by Hanawan Ocampo. (Costs P35-45 for bus fare)2. You look for those who offers habal-habal service. (Price would depend to the driver how much they will charge you but as much as possible, tawadan niyo kung kaya. Diskarte niyo na yan.)Some tricycles can also be rented to get take you there (not sure but some say it costs P500/head for 1 way trip). This place is so beautiful and I hope that people visiting here would be responsible tourists. Uphold the principles of ecotourism: “Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but foot print. Kill nothing but time.” Remember that it was once a private owned place and it being shared to us now was something to be grateful for. As it open its doors to us, let us not abuse it. I do hope that there will be a sustainable tourism management as well as it becomes a new tourist attraction here in Camarines Sur.
MoreA great place if you love fresh-water swimming; the staff and manager are very accommodating. They usually allow guests during the daytime only; overnights can be accommodated on case-to-case basis.
MoreA new attraction in my hometown. Ive recently visited the place for the first time last April 2019 together with my family as a treat after celebrating fiesta, then Im in shock maybe because its summer time and theres a lot of people want for a refreshment. Anyway, the place is nice it also has a garden full of flowers and other spot for picture taking. However, since it still improving it would be better if they build much bigger pool to accommodate large number of tourist will visit. 😉
MoreEye catching scenic spot and a good place for vacation especially with your friends and familiy
MoreI really like the setting and the arrangement of the place. They have a pool, huts for family picnics and the place is cool since it is situated in a high altitude. The design of the place is really well thought of - the windows, the furnitures. Artists will be very much happy to be in this place.
MoreIm afraid I need to change my review here, since we were shocked how the place developed really good unlike before. Great sceneries, great views, refreshing place, excellent for vacation, tour, getaways and family bondings. The cottages were good. The facilities were good and convenient, the comfort rooms were clean. Just expect when the outing time is near, just expect that there will be a lane when going to the c.r. Whats also good in this place is, its not really pricey, its just affordable. Well its going to be a bit pricey for those who dont have private vehicles since they are still going to rent a jeep just to go up here. To add up more, there is still an area above the hibiscus camp where you can find the 2 U-shaped pool, and you can find a spacious park where you can also have your picnics.Overall its fantastic! Keep it up Hibiscus Camp!
MoreGreat liesure place. Awesome view of surrounding places looking down from Mt.Isarog. Main activity will be swimming and a full day fun for selfie addicts. Entrance fee P100.
MoreThis place is a hidden gem. The view is really superb. This is place is good for family outings, not crowded but you have to bring everything as there are few stores around
MoreThe place is actually good. There are three swimming pools available, toddler, average pool and the last one was quite deep. Measuring of 5.2feet. We enjoyed the experience and the scenery is stunning! The cottages were cute but it was quite crowded.
MoreI really liked the picturesque view and the relaxing view of the Hibiscus Garden, with also the cooling waters to seim at. Definitley recommend to those who just wannna ignore the troubles of the modern world and just enjoy the beauty of nature
MoreNice place to unwind. An hour or so away from Naga City, and about two from Legazpi City. The only downside is they do not yet allow an overnight stay as per my last visit (as of Feb. 2019).
MoreNice to be surrounded by nature. Many little hours for resting areas if there as a group. 3 small pools to splash in the water and a beautiful collection of flowers all around. Nice little kitchen on the area that serves good food too.
MoreWorthwhile experience. Just brace yourself for a rollercoaster-like ride up. But good thing the road is already cemented.Entrance is 100 for adults.Once there, you can have a view of the greeneries below. Peefect for those who want to escape the stresses of the city.Plus they also offer accommodation worth 5k per night good for 15 pax.
MoreThe road to the camp is worth mentioning, as it winds along the foot of Mt Isarog and gives wide view of the Pacific Ocean and all the hills towards the province of Albay. Now the place itself, with its crampy three-tiered infinity pool was something to behold especially at dusk. Soak in the water and soak in the cool air, and the calm view.Park parallel on the crowded street, as this gets lots of visitors, at your own risk.
MoreVisit with your family Please! it’s really worth going there! plan to spend whole day, it’s really great, usually it’s crowded but if you can make it by 8am you can chose the cottage!Entry Fee: 100php for adultsKids: 50phpand there’s a discounted entry fee for senior citizens! For cottage:standard: 500phpordinary: 300phpThis place is indeed wonderful!and don’t ever forget to visit the water falls nearby they are really splendid i attached some images Please check on those!Entry fee is 15php only! Please do visit it! i bet you will appreciate it a lot ✌🏻😊
MoreNot your ordinary out of town getaway bakasyunistas.Who would have thought that you can enjoy the view of Mt. Mayon in an overlooking swimming pool? Thats right, you heard it right. Im amazed by the beauty of this place. Enchanting 😍
MoreThe place is OK. There are three pools and some cottages, overlooking the valley. It has an amazing view of the landscape below the mountain where you can take selfies and dramatic photos... You can also camp there overnight using tents but there are very little space.
MoreNice place for unwinding. Hibiscus is also known as the “Little Baguio”. Very relaxing view from the top with the birds-eye view of the different municipalities like Ocampo, Pili, Tigaon, Sagñay and also the City of Naga. This includes also the beautiful view of Mt. Mayon and Mt. Asog.
MoreNice place, Nice view but dont go during holidays, too crowded but no available cottage. 100 pesos entance fee is not worth it esp if you will just go for sight seeing and picture taking.
MoreThe place needs more toilet rooms, especially for men. Theres only one room for men. The que was quite long when we were there. The place is picturesque.
MoreIts fun, nice place to relax, and perfect destination to experience a nice sunsets/sunrise.
MoreStunning view although the place is not that huge.
great place to relax. awsome view of mt isarog and Mayon volcano on a clear sky. they serve yummy suman with latik and brewed coffee at a very affordable price. it has new swimming pools!
MoreThe view outside here is better for me because I don’t like artificial building that much , but if you like to go high place with friends and family, going there is also funJust a bit far from town
MoreGreat place for soul-searching, and an easy escape from the city. Feast your eyes on ALL-GREEN sights and fresh breeze. Lots of photo ops. Not crowded, very easy to access, great place to just stop and enjoy the view for hours.
MoreRaining most of the time here. You can find here different species of hibicus. Several chillspot for the guest with overlooking view of the municipality of Pili, Ocampo, Tigaon and Goa. In addition, the damage in every head is 20 pesos think of it, if its fair enough (it is all on to you).
