Hi Joy Bowl in Bremerton

I went to this place so long ago. And they have the most wonderful clean and vivid lights Ive seen. Its been a while since I gone there.

Super Fun! We went to a birthday party at Hijoy Bowling and it was so much fun! We also came here all summer for the Kids Club Bowling and we had a blast coming all summer! Great customer service!

Fun bowling. Though I swear the pins were rigged. Either that or we were just bad, out of 6 of us we got a total of 2 strikes. So, I dunno. Fun stuff though.

Pricing was a bit much. 2 people for $50 for an hour of bowling. But we had fun!

Always a good time at Hi Joy. Especially the Rock N Bowl! Make sure to reserve ahead, or you wont get a lane. Beer is good and cold. Food is OK. Lanes are nice with updated scoring systems.

You can tell whoever owns this place cares about their customers. Theres a cute little sign on the door that if you take 2 seconds to read will make you feel really good about yourself. This place is a great size. Theres a mini arcade and a cozy bar/restaurant area tucked away from the lanes so theres privacy and a quiet atmosphere if youre looking for it. The bathrooms are very clean! Everyone is friendly. Will definitely be coming back with my family.

I had never been to Hi Joy Bowl before, as I am not a person who likes to bowl, especially when there was smoking allowed inside the facilities.Hi Joy Bowl was clean, had great lighting, there was a small oder of cigarettes (mostly from those going outside to smoke then coming back in), the lanes were well maintained, the balls were wll maintained, the bowling shoes were well bowling shoes, the wait staff was polite and always asking if we needed anything, all the employees were friendly and were able to answer questions as well as offer suggestions on techniques.

Never had a bad time at Hi Joy. Some interesting times, but never bad. Great drinks and atmosphere.

Staff always courteous and friendly. Place always kept neat and clean. Lanes are adequately oiled for open bowlers which are kept clean and free of leftover balls from previous bowlers. Pricing is good. You choose by hour or by number of games bowled. I usually bowl afternoons, so you may get to choose your lanes. Restaurant has good selection for breakfast or lunch, with good prices. Additionally, there is staff available to take orders directly from lanes and deliver as well. I suggest a visit. My experiences there have always been enjoyable. Family friendly too.

Best bloody mary ever. Best servers too. Quality of the food has diminished over last few years but it is not the staffs fault.

Bowling alley with a restaurant and lounge so you can drink and bowl. Nice little gaming corner to. Nicely made drinks good food cool spot for a get together night to catch up with and with some stores around the area its an alright spot if you want to just get out of the house.

Attended a birthday party here. Bowling was fun, food was great. Michelle helped make it a memorable experience.

We love going to the Hi Joy, especially for breakfast. Weve been enjoying meals there for over 40 years. The employees are friendly and the food is consistently delicious!

Greqt place to relax and have a bite. They had a few items not available which were on the menu. The service was pretty great though. Had a very young service and kitchen staff who acted very proffesionally.

Im sure bowling is fun but this review is about the food. I didnt take a pic because I was a bit disappointed that a simple order would cause so much confusion.

would give it more stars but I was not good at bowling, probably something off about the balls. make sure to order the deluxe water off the secret menu (would highly recommend)

My grandpa loves this place for the bowling, and I really dont mind tagging along when he goes, its got a lot of fun stuff in there, an arcade, a restaurant, a bar, plenty of lanes.His hip needs surgery, so its been a little while since weve gone here, but were definitely looking forward to going back once hes better.Edit: I shouldve mentioned this the last time I reviewed it, but the food here is... well, its okay. Its not bad by any means, its all just simple, borderline bland. Every time Ive gone here, I need to put salt and pepper on my food to help get it up to where Id expect the taste to be.

This used to be our favorite place for breakfast. Now it is a dark place with bad lighting and poor service. The last several times have been the same, even if they arent busy the service is still bad. I give up.

I enjoy bowling. Have not gone in over a year. They are open now. Had a lot of fun. But 15 dollars for 2 games and shoes seemed a little high. Plus the 4.50 for a bottle of Coors light? Ugh. No masks though!!!

Every one behind the desk was great! Everything was clean and everyone was nice. I dropped a start because it cost my family of six people $165 to bowl and have lunch and I feel like that isnt quite worth the value ❤ next time well eat first!

Ive been going to the Hi Joy Cafe for the last 13 years. It has remained the same for all those years. New carpets and bouth upholstery, a lot of the waitress are the same. A lot of regulars are the same. The waitress are friendly and knows the names of the regulars. The only draw back is the noise level occasionally, it seems that a lot of people are always greeting everyone and bring them up to date on their lives. I wear hearing aids, so I just turn them off, and the noise level goes down.

Went there for breakfast. Food was good. Service was fast. Staff was friendly. Restaurant was clean. Its kinda small so it does fill up fast.

Long time staff make you feel right at home. Food arrives quickly. I got breakfast and my husband got lunch. Both our meals were cooked well and had great flavor.

Hi prices, have to come Monday... Only day theres a reasonable deal. Unfortunately with Bremerton Lanes being closed its got a monopoly unless you wanna drive to Silverdale ( which is even worse price wise ).Not much to do here other than bowl, the arcade is full of ticket games, nothing else. They have a diner attached but prices are unreasonable. Chose not to order food based on this.

Had a nice late morning breakfast at Hijoy Bowl with my mom. We ate in the lounge so she could play the pull tab games. The food was pretty good, and the bartender was friendly, and attentive. It was fun.

Use to take my kids here often and go with the wife for brunch. I have to say I have never been sorry for dining here. The cook is amazing and makes the best chicken fried steak in port orchard.

Im rating and reviewing the restaurant, not the gaming. The restaurant is 1st rate food and service-wise. It subtracted one star for the atmosphere, as I certainly wouldnt take a girl that I wanted to impress there. But back to the food... The bacon reaches a perfection seldom seen in the real world. Evenly crisp yet not brittle. In no way are there any soft fatty sections: All meat! Their eggs are generally excellent, Ive yet to be disappointed with the consistency. The hash browns are textbook examples of The great American Potato. Crispy on the outside, moist inside. The toast doesnt disappoint either. Melts in your mouth leaving soft notes of real butter playing after you swallow. Drinks are cold and wet...And bottomless. Lets do lunch sometime.

Hi Joy has been around forever and I have never had a bad experience with them. Staff are very direct and get their job done, but could be more personable (nobody has ever been rude, they just ask what needs to be asked and perform what needs to be performed). The range of bowling shoes they provide are well maintained and cleaned, as are their bowling balls and lanes. Prices are reasonable for casual games, and there is usually a lane open. The location contains an arcade with a few standard machines, and most are usually running when we visit. Overall the location is quiet and could use some cheer and modernization, but it is never unpleasant.

Had fun bowling but a lot of troubles with a few of the best games inside the arcade. Would like for once to see ALL the games in working order at the same time/visit. Other wise it was fun. The staff was pleasant and nice to us.

Weve had breakfast here a couple times now. Always fast ticket times, perfectly cooked eggs, customizations to menu items not a problem at all. Nice smaller quieter setting when pancake house is packed. Very attentive wait staff. Id say overall enjoyment seems to be better than experiences at their competitors places.

I took my grandchildren and their parents bowling for the first time and we had a blast! It was a little pricey but thats expected with eight people. I discovered we could choose a price-per-game, or timed games; we chose the latter.The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, explaining how this new-fangled electronic scoring system worked. They had light-weight balls behind the counter so we did not have to search the whole facility to find them. At one point all our balls got stuck in the system. We know stuff like this happens sometimes. They cleared the problem quickly then added an additional 10 minutes to our playing time!In addition to bumpers for the little ones, they had a "launcher" so the three-year-old could play. I really appreciate the little extras so everyone could bowl.Everyone got hooked on bowling. We will definitely be back!

The food was very good, but the service was not. Our waitress did not check on us until she brought the check, there were people running in and out of the kitchen and one guy even grabbed a piece of bacon and started eating! I was very disappointed. They used to have great service, but not anymore.

Picked up an order in the Restaurant. The food was horrid, burnt powdered mashed potatoes. No real care in the kitchen. I did think the staff was quite pleasant though. Attention to detail. This place has some potential and not with just the bowlers or the 60+ crowd.

Great Restaurant food served in the bar bar staff is great people, Food Is good as it Gets. Prices very reasonable if you walk out hungry its your fault!Many Leagues, day and night. Place is always jumping!My home away from home!

My granddaughters had her birthday there, the kids had a blast not a big area for partys but they do stay with you to make sure it go smooth.

I came here with my husband and our three very small children as we LOVED our experience here at this bowling alley. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the facility is clean and priced fairly. There are automatic bumpers that come up for the children and they have easy-to-use electronic controls. If we lived here, we would come all the time.
