Not the best place though the price was suitable.The staff are friendly and happy to help.

Not the most luxurious place to stay but it’s cheap and clean so it’s a great for a short term stay. I’ve stayed there a couple of times now and I had a great nights sleep and a nice hot shower so both times I had a good experience.

Dont go. Dangerous. Ring police for their advice first. Room full of smoke. Smoker sitting at our front doir with chais at our frint room full of cigerette buts. Staff would not refund. Checked out. Went ekse where. You have been warned.

Customers beware of cancellation fees and charges...Careful booking here in the Covid-19 climate. I booked through wotif.com and it took me 3 hours (2hrs of which I was on hold with wotif-comto cancel a booking due to no fault of our own but due to travel restrictions - you will be charged - wotif.com blames the Motel for their fees and the Motel blames wotif.com. As the consumer, were caught in the middle. My advice is to book directly and keep the middle agent out of it - otherwise the consumer gets stuck in the middle of the madness!!

Clean & well presented rooms.Good to have a kitchenette in the room.

My parents booked to stay here! The owner was rude and abusive using the most obscene language. Absolutely appalling.

My grandparents visited this motel recently only to be abused by the owner as the air con wasn’t working in their room. The owner abused my 80 year grandparents which is absolutely appalling. Do not recommend staying here unless you wanna be abused by the owner

Very friendly staff reasonable price. Good location we got good suggestions on breakfast pleaces,lookouts. We enjoyed the stay.

My reservation was cancelled after booking and a refund was difficult to obtain requiring me to seek one direct from booking company which wouldn’t allow cancellation less than 24hr prior to arrival - despite it being the HOTEL cancelling! The staff I dealt with were rude and unwilling to assist in any way.

Arrived after a long drive.Reception staff where rude, told us they werent dog friendly which is fair however the rooms wouldnt have been worse off, the beds are musty the air-conditioning has mould in the fan part, dust on the fans. We just wanted to find somewhere else to stay and needed to sit down and find another place. Was told we needed to leave asap. A bit of understanding would have gone better. The cleaning staff where the only redeeming experience

Whilst the beds had clean linen & the shower was hot, that was the end of the good points! Aircon was only in back bedroom. The noise from the occupants upstairs was INSANE. We got no sleep at all!! The dining table could not be sat at due to the leg falling off, as it was propped up against the wall. The bathroom towel rail fell off several times. The bathroom was terribly unclean. I honestly walked in the room & just cried!! Had we been able to source accomodation elsewhere at such short notice, we would have. Its very apparent the owners are hell bent on cutting costs & doing their on D.I.Y renos, which is very sub-standard.Do yourself a favour & definately do not stay here. Reception staff were very friendly, but unfortunately the owners have already done the damage.

A good place to rest ones head swimming pool, big screen TVs. A good budget motel.

The staff there are just great, so friendly and helpful. The beds were so comfortable, and the rooms were smallish for a family room but really clean and the shower pressure was fantastic. The pool was great after a long drive. Other than the occasional car, only heard when the door was open, the room were really quite.

Great to get a room at the last minute due to a cancellation. Comfy bed but several flies in the room and window hard to open.Friendly staff.

We had trouble finding a motel in Ballina because of the road construction, so this was a last minute booking. When we drove to our room, there were the cleaning mops sitting on a red wall nearby, the fridge had a laminated notice and all around the notice it was unclean, as was the floor beside the fridge. The walls had marks where children had been drawing, the beside table had a red stain, the wardrobe doors were all missing paintwork and the shower floor was very slippery, behind the curtains was dirty and the view from the window in the bedroom revealed some dead plants. The beds were OK and the water was hot. At the bottom of the swimming pool was a car drivers P plate. When I told management that the place wasnt very nice, my daughter heard the comment that we were ungrateful.

Absolutely terrible.No hot water for which they blamed the council.I was given a bucket to put water from the kettle into to shower with.Beds are as hard as a brick. Blankets are old and shabby. Poor really poor. Not okay

Where to start? Ummmmm, okay, first, I never ever say bad things about businesses as I believe they have the right to earn money and develop their businesses if they are fair to their customers. My partner and I checked in at 5pm, after a long journey, we wanted to take a shower and hot water was out. I got cold because of taking cold shower in a cold night and after complaining to the manager, he started to blame everyone but himself. Water taps are leaking, beds have bugs (Im scratching all over my body now), sofas are dirty with brown stains on them. All in all it was a nightmare come true for us. Be so careful, these people are rude, liar and provide the worst service ever. Stay out of this place !!!

Clean tidy nice rooms with good feel to them bbqs and pool are good and Chinese restaurant is next door or short walk to pizza seafood takeaway ect its best price for neat modern comfort in ballina. Parking is good and a few minuets drive to shopping centers or a little more to beaches

Smelt of bleach. Fridge stank of fish. Kitchen tap dripped and rgere was no bath mat. Otherwise, place was ok. 4wd people on either side parked at angle & hemmed my car in for no reason!

It more than half the price of Lennox heads 10. Minutes up the road. Yes it is an old style country style motel. The name sounds uninviting. But it was actually quite comfortable. The bed and pillows were new. A fridge sink and microwave in the room. . Good value for money

Great location walk to everything the room was very clean and comfortable it had everything TV air con small bar fridge coffee making facilities hair dryer very well set out very comfortable bed nice friendly staff and a nice cooling pool to cool off in after a long drive

booked through a 3rd party website, however when we went to check in the motel demanded more money. Was promised an upgraded room for the ordeal but it was clearly an ordinary room, the rooms themselves being sub par. I would only recomend if you were rushed for time and needed somewhere to stay for the night.

Nice clean fresh room, comfortable beds and chairs, I like the added shaving cream, shower gel, hand cream and hand wash dispensers.Shops, RSL Club and river all very close

This is no fake post or comment. My name is Marcus and I have stayed at this motel with family while looking for a house . The owners and cleaning managers have helped us through a hard time and are now friends. Motel there Rooms are better then any other motel or inn at Ballina areas. And the service is amazing . In a way Im sad to leave but have made friends for life . Ty guys .

Convenient location. Basic amenities. A little run down, but the staff were friendly and welcoming. Beds were very firm and I woke up with quite a sore back. I would recommend staying here as a cheap alternative on a road trip. If youre looking for longer accommodation in Ballina, I would stay elsewhere.

Excellent. Friendly staff and welcoming. Motel very clean with all amenities, in my top 5 cleanest motels. Double room with excellent amenities. Close to CBD. Great value. Will stay here again.

Not the cleanest hotel!!Teaspoon dirty from previous use.Broken glass in tray where glasses and cups kept.Lots of toast crumbs on bench top.Moved the jug and toaster from on top the microwave and it was dirty underneath.Cover on top the double bed dirty and needed washing.Smelled like stale sweat!!

Comfortable, clean, helpful friendly staff, pool, air-conditioning, close to restaurants, quiet, free Wi-Fi and television, pay tv, comfortable for a quick stay over whilst travelling.

I know soo keen to the gym and now I am going through my email address in the morn so will be all set for tomorrow at least a few weeks ago I was just about to go for a surf now then just see the break and find the best way to go for a surf and now I know you too well

Good stay, all the amenities youd want and a close walk to town for dinner.

The location was very well placed to the city centre ans had comfortable sleep with free WiFi as a bonus
