Great alternative bar very welcomeing, enjoy the pub quiz on second and last Tuesday of every month. Occasional fun late nights with a djs worth dancing to on the weekend. Cocktails are reasonable, comfortable space and reasonable priced beers. Pool table, table football and pac man. Great for a beer in the week or on weekends can order your take away to eat in if you wish!

The barman with the beard who was on tonight was exceptionally rude. With bad language towards me because I was stood in a doorway. Totally uncalled for. 10 of us left the establishment.

Friendly service. Loved the berry smoothie. Good coffee and had a pleasant lunch. The staff are very willing to adjust the menu to suit the customer, so if you fancy a sandwich rather than a bagel, just ask. Would recommend and well worth a revisit

One of the top 5 bars in Worcester!Always friendly service, cold beers, and good atmosphere.Theres zero toleration for bad behavour of any kind which makes it one of the safest places to go.Its turned into my home away from home.

Average place for a quick drink. Me and my friend couldnt help but notice some toilet smells within the building. Maybe it was because it is an old building though.

Amazing bar. Excellent lagers and ales. Really good atmosphere and ambiance. Lively on a Friday night but service was brilliant and friendly. Gutted I dont live closer, this would be a local if I lived in Worcester.

Great little bar, loads of little rooms, smoking area, good music and pool. Theres also a nice selection of booze.

An oldie but a goodie! Always a great place for a drink with friends. Drinks menu is varied and nice shooters list.

Great bar. Table service only at the moment due to covid but fast service. Had a couple pints of Flagon cider which was nice. Would definitely recommend this pub just beware of the low ceilings if youre tall 🤣

Ann ok experience. Probably a little bit to sober to hit this type of bar. Had a Budapest type bar feel to it. Lots of different rooms and quirky features. Ordered an Espresso Martini, it was OK. I think I could see myself ending up here after a evening out to see me off. Definately wouldnt be against back, but would I remember it? Also, anyone over 6ft tall would struggle.

Hereos was absolutely brilliant with the pool table and the table football and lovely bar staff until we went onto the dance floor and our table was cleared of all of our drinks which were left - with the empty glasses being left on the side of the bar and the full drinks glasses all disappeared. Even though other tables with full drinks were left. When the bar man was questioned, the answer was a disappointing excuse of the fact that we weren’t physically sitting at the table, even though all of our coats and bags were there. We were the only people on the dance floor and he had served at least half of our group at the empty bar.

The feel of this bar is second to none. Nestled in an attic, the whole spot feels like youre sperating from the rest of the world. The music and beer is amazing, the staff is relaxed and clearly enjoys their time there. If youre looking for a bar to relax and grab a few drinks, meet up with some friends, and just enjoy yourselves, this is the spot to go.

Absolutely love the place, so relaxed, nice leather sofas, pool table, smoking area if thats your thing, and the cocktails are superb.

Normally would really highly recommend this place, the bar, the environment and staff are very friendly. I have been here many times and have never had an issues until recently.One night in January I was too loud and hyper because of my adhd down the street and was denied access to the bar by the bouncer , I asked why and he said because I was too drunk, even though their were several people in front of me stumbling to get up the stairs and were allowed in. No worries after me trying to understand and ask why, I said okay and left. I believed it would only be for this one night and agreed with them.However up until recently 7th of March 2020. The same bouncer about 5ft.9 middle aged and bald. Has denied me access to the bar again I asked why and he said because I denied you in January for mouthing off even though I did not. This time I was sober and again I saw very drunk people stumble on and were allowed Access. I tried to apologise to him several times but he continued to ignore me and told me to get lost not even wanting to listen. I said its been a month since that night how long will I have to wait considering Im fine now and was confused why he was holding what it seems sort of grudge towards me. He replied for as long as Im working here( which I can only assume is permanently), I felt this was unfair and was very extreme and feel this case has been treated unfairly. Multiple of my friends came to ask the bouncer why and he said because I was mouthing off to him which was a infact lie as all I was doing was asking why I was not allowed in, secondly apologising and thirdly asking how long this will last and trying to explain him why I was loud and hyper etc.

This was definitely my favourite place in Worcester. The bar is lovely and I really like how the inside is decorated. Quite different and very warming. The music was so good as well and the drinks are nice. Quite the selection.we went there 2 nights in a row.

Gorgeous little bar with lots of character. The bartender recommended some lovely cocktails which I had never tried before. The only negative was having to duck under doorways, however thats normality for me at 67

Always a great atmosphere when we go on a Friday or Saturday night. Fantastically social smoking area, less cliquey than inside.Bar staff are always friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced.Always recommend a Dead Mans Shot or a Cherry Bakewell!

My go to place.. A great rock bar on Friar Street over looking the Alma Houses. The birthplace of the The Curlywurly Club.. 😂 Long story, but they serve Curlywurlys... great range if beer, really friendly, you feel at home in a suit or Jeans.

Nice hidden rock/indie bar in the centre of Worcester.Normally 2 security blokes standing outside, really friendly, just walk up the stairs. Brilliant range of beers and extra strength cocktails. Always pay this place a visit when Im around here! *****

Great place for a Saturday night! 2 rooms,the front one is more for some casual chatting and hanging out while the music is usually some type rock however the back room is where the party is on! On Saturdays usually there is a combo of DJs playing all different sorts of stuff but great music nonetheless! Also,theres an area between the 2 rooms where there is a pool table and a football one as well.

Had a really good fun night here. Loads of novelty shots to do. Erdinger is on gas here which is much better than bottle. I remember there was low ceilings and narrow staircases, which, of course, is unavoidable in old buildings like this. Friendly staff too. Im from a small town where leaving your phone unguarded on the table isnt thought of as risky but one of the barman kindly warned me against this.

Expect 3.80-4.50 ish for pints. They had lager Ive never heard of, which was a great experience. Was kind of hard to find the pub, but when we did. It was tidy and the staff were friendly. Pool was a blast, 50p per game. Had to duck a lot due to low doorways, so I can imagine some people could hit their heads :D. Will be visiting again.

A high four stars (nothing is perfect). Great selection of unique beers. Personalised wallpaper in the ladies toilets. Sublime cocktails. WARNING: Be aware of low flying beams.

An outstanding bar full of heroic blokes with big arms, pony tails and unorthodox tattoos. My favorite was Norman, a 40 year old man from Aberdeen. He was able to shoulder press a live gorilla outside the bogs, much to the delight of all the other punters. Well worth a visit and definitely good value for the £37 entry fee.

Little basic awesome bar. Long on "friendly", short on fake smile "customer service". I do not mean theyre mean. I mean theyre good. Havent been to this bar in years, and its evolved a bit, but its kept its aim squarely on good beer, good music, good bar. Go. Play fußball or Donkey Kong or Pool. Get drunk. Enjoy.

Probably the best alternative venue in Worcester, great crowd of patrons friendly bar staff & awesome manager! Good deals on drinks, brilliant atmosphere, music, pool table games & dj on certain nights, unfortunately no disabled access but ask & Im sure people will get u upstairs!! 5+ stars!!! Outside smoking area, so come on have a great night out.!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Friendly staff and a real dive bar feel. Pool table and arcade games are great when it’s quiet enough to play! Gets very busy at weekends. The garden at the back is very nice, although the lights are wired in AC instead of DC which makes them flicker - disconcerting after a couple of pints! Would be nice for the beers to change round occasionally, but good to see a bit of local beer in the fridge.

Having grown up in Worcester and always known Heroes to have been in the city, it will always have a special place in my heart. Have been drinking here as long as I can remember, ha, and will continue to do so.Fab setting, great drinks selection and cocktails with a pool table to boot. A very chilled and layed back atmosphere/attitude. Enjoy heroes for what it is and dont piss them off. Nice one guys

What a great bar good beers and selection of spirits. A great cocktail list along with shots. The staff are great. Has a pool table and a football table, lovely setting for a bar little seated in coves and Sofas to sit on. Also has a seated area outside, they have live music and DJs at the weekends. Its a mine field for tall people must remember to duck in places!! Very much one of Worcesters best bars

Will never think of any other place as my local. Great vibe, great staff, good selection of drinks and always a good soundtrack (would extend that to great if Jake is behind the bar/in control of the playlist!).Everyone is friendly and cheerful, and never had a bad experience (despite the odd pleb who somehow managed to drag their drunken ass up the stairs). 5/5 and hands down the best bar in Worcester m/

Heroes bar is very nice and offers some very different lagers to drink. Have to go up a flight of stairs to get there so non accessible to disabled people. Other than that heroes bar offers a good atmosphere with a rather large smoking area, a pool table and, table football​.

Lovely staff and great drinks selection including cocktails. Very comfortable and one of the best atmospheres in town! Happy hour between 5-7:30pm and live music/DJs in back room. Whats not to love?

We were served wednesday the 31st of May by a bartender who wouldnt disclose his name, a bearded man with tattoos and a "plug" in his ear. He was externally rude to our party of five, using curse words and using discrimutive terms towards the female members of our group. Wonderful bar but horrendous staff member. We wont be rushing back to this venue in Worcester anytime soon.

Good selection of drinks and excellent music! A little on the small side (Im 6ft 3in and struggled to stand up in some places!but this was always my go-to bar when out in Worcester.
