Fantastic food, we do takeout when we order. Sadly we had a small issue tonight with our order with the wings being boneless rather than boned and the Cheesesteak being made incorrectly. We of course didn’t notice until we got home. But Quin the manager swiftly listened to the the issue, issued a refund and apologized. That’s exactly how you retain a customer for life.Much appreciated.

Im in town for a week and thought I would venture out beyond the restaurants around the mall. One of the people at the shop I was working at recommended Heros so I figured I would give it a shot. Sat at the bar and asked if we could put the Seahawks game on. The bartender quickly changed one of the TVs for me. She was very nice and attentive with a genuine smile. I asked her for a recommendation on beer and she picked a winner. Ordered the wings with the hottest sauce they had (the insane/insanity is not available). They were great and hit the spot. Only complaint is the hours as the game was before halftime when I got the last call. It is strange when I come to the northeastern states. Bars around my neighborhood south of seattle are pretty much open till midnight or later. No biggy I have an early morning so its probably for the better. I will likely be coming back to service this customers equipment and will definitely be back to Heros.

Food was okay drinks were way over priced. Server ordered us boneless when we ordered traditional. No offer to correct or compensate. just ate it and left.

Good food. Nice atmosphere. Always have a great server. Got me in for my sons birthday party on short notice and took 5 star care of us..we had at least 25 in our party. Boneless wings are a favorite. I will be having my next party here for sure 👍

Always enjoy the good food and atmosphere. Visited 6p. on Sunday evening and had our food out within 10 minutes. Delicious steak and cheese on a sub roll.

Cool vibe, good food, good service. There a variety of arcade games which require tokens. Nice bar too. Looks like theres a space to rent for private parries upstairs. The only thing I didnt care for was their mac n cheese....tastes canned to me. The Pizza and appetizers are yummy as are the fish n chips. Will def go back!!

Great food! We ordered pizza, chicken wings, and a salad, and all were quite tasty.The place has slow service right now, so do prepare for your visit to take a while even if the place isnt necessarily packed.Enjoyed our time! Sadly, had to cancel some plans after the visit because we were late.

I had hight hopes for heros being a sports grill/bar.. Im a food buff also a chef and instructor in the culinary world..I cook at work then teach at a school here in Maine once aweek also cook at home... I do enjoy going out to eat often. I ordered takeaway from heros last week what I ordered was a crispy chicken sandwich, onion rings, Cole slaw.. The onions rings where the best thing I ate, the chicken was bland its like they didnt use seasoned flour or anything, the Cole slaw was well basically I was eating cut up cabbage dry.

My food order was not correct and Chicken was like rubber :( fries and beverage were good. I wouldnt suggest a water back ( water was not drinkable, no matter how much lemon I put in it Service was just ok. The atmosphere was great lots of TVs lots of games😊very sports bar like! I would go back for the atmosphere

Had an amazing experience, we went in 12 deep and they didnt blink an eye,all our orders were spot on....all the games were on the tvs,arcade games,just a cool place to get some GREAT FOOD.. Will go again for sure

A family friendly sports bar! The kids won 4 prizes from the claw machines, and the food was classic American comfort food. Watched any number of games on the big screens. Well definitely stop in again.

Best pickle chips Ive ever had. They were so thin and crunchy. Great place to take the kids. Not having wings was a bummer.

Amazing staff and a family owned local business. It’s a great atmosphere and their wings are great. You get popcorn before your meal and you see sports on big screen TVs.

Arrived for curbside pick up and called to let them know I was there. Said they would be right out with my order, waited 10 minutes. Could see all the food lined up, no one came. Called back and the girl who answered was so rude to me. Acted like I was being the biggest inconvenience. My food was ready, I’m sure they were busy, but why aren’t the curbside customer being treated as good as the indoor dining patrons? I tip them, but not this time!

Was good fast service. Feel sad they have to go through these times. Had nacos would liked to have had real cheese and not cheese whiz, added chicken and was not enough for the up charge. Just to give feedback . Good luck!

Heros has always been my go to for Excellent boneless wings. Unfortunately the prices have gone up (expected and acceptedbut the Wing portion has gone way down. The taste is still there but 10 wings used to either last for 2 meals or make me extremely full. Now 10 Wings doesnt fill me up more than a 10 piece at McDonalds.Buffalo Mac n cheese was also good.

Went there to enjoy a nice birthday dinner and watch our NFL team play in their playoff game. The game was on which was great but no volume so we asked if they could turn the volume on so we could hear it. We were told they only turn the volume on for New England Patriots games. Well the Pats were out and our team was playing. As there were many other tables there for the same game. Also, asked to get some chips to take home with the other half of the dip we didn’t eat, it was made out to be an inconvenience and I told the waitress to just forget it. Not to mention they only gave us half the amount of chips we needed to eat the dip in the first place. Rant over. Poor customer service. And I won’t be going there in the future to enjoy any sports games.

We ordered fried pickles for an appetizer. The waitress brought our meals out and I said what about the pickles and she said " oh yeah." No Im sorry or anything. I said forget them now. She never asked what dressing I wanted for my salad she just brought me ranch. She never came back to the table to see if I needed another drink. The steak tips were good but the service was terrible.

Food is great, tastes fantastic and is of solid quality, but the prices are outrageous. An order of 10 wings and a salad with 2 beers at a sports bar should never cost over $30 before tip. It seems like prices go up every few months. Obsecene. Used to go 3+ times a week to eat, now I probably wont be back for a long time again. For the same money you and your significant other will spend for a beer and two entrees at heros, spend the extra $5 and go to Timber to get your moneys worth.

Nice little bar/restaurant/entertainment spot. My chicken fingers were a little dry, but the fries were great. My husband also really enjoyed his wings and fried mushrooms.

One of our favorite places to eat when in Bangor. Food is great, service has always been fantastic and they have an excellent selection of local beers. Our daughter loves playing all the arcade games they have setup as well. Would definitely recommend.

Went with my family. We ordered a lot of food. Staff was friendly and quick. We went the night of the Leonard Skynyrd concert. Very impressed with the speed.

We stopped in for a cold IPA and had the Buffalo loaded fries for an appetizer.. Huge portion, enough to share.. Some of the best fries we have tasted.. A good selection of beer made from local breweries.. Definitely going to go back and try something different..

First time going was seated right away. There service and food were great. I like that they run daily specials we were there Sunday kids eat free. I just gave a 4 cause we noticed a error on our bill that needed correcting (so check your bill).

Good food, fun for the kids, they can play arcade games while waiting. Very loud, but its a bar and we are a loud family so it wasnt so bad. Not super clean, but I cant say it was dirty, maybe just dated. Waitress was quite slack, it was busy and she spent 15 or so minutes talking to a table of friends of hers so we were all quite thirsty with no drinks. We had to track her down to get refills. Well go back again, its a relaxed atmosphere and my teens liked it.

Great place to gather, family or friends night out. Best sweet chilli wings in town. Good menu, typical pub food but quality and value are excellent. Fun activities for children. Drink offerings are excellent. Dining and entertainment areas are well maintained. Staff are pleasant and attentive. Broadcast of pretty much any games/sport you could want is widely available. We will definitely return and highly recommend this establishment for families and adult groups.

Weve eaten here a few times now and love the food. Its pub food and sandwiches hard to mess that up. Service is kinda slow but very friendly and they give you free popcorn while you wait. They also have THE BEST chicken wings around. Pay attention to your salt shakers. We noticed ours was full of gnats. I dont know how the bussers or servers missed that.

Cant recommend Heros highly enough! Burger was cooked EXACTLY how I ordered it and was DELICIOUS! Our waitress was attentive and friendly and offered many suggestions. She really was a treasure! Crowd was upbeat and enthusiastic without being so loud we couldnt have a conversation. HIGHLY recommended!!!

They have a decent menu to suit different desires. Its a great place for families and friends to go for gatherings as they have room to hold parties. The service can be a bit slow sometimes when they are busy as I dont think they have enough waitstaff for the busiest nights. Video games for kids keep them entertained while parents socialize.

Great local spot, although a bit expensive. As of now its $13 for 10 wings! But their specials make it worth it. Lots of beer choices and generally good service. A good number of cycled arcade games as well. Recommended!

Weve only been a handful of times, but whether out with a group of friends or with our young kids, its a great place. Everything weve had on the menu was excellent (lots of comfort food!and our picky kids even loved it! Drinks are decent, servers are friendly and its a fun atmosphere. The kids enjoy the arcade games too. Definitely recommend!

Nice environment and plenty of TVs as well as a few arcades. I dont know what he is trying to achieve here, whether it be a family friendly restaurant or a hardcore sports vsr. The facility accommodates both however it walks the line as to what it truly is thus presenting the customer with the dilemma of whether its kid friendly family fun, or 5 oclock Friday afternoon bar time. The food is very good especially the sweet chili wings. I havent tried the pizza but Ive heard it is excellent. I didnt eat or drink at the bar (which is adjacent to the dining room all in an open air style buildingso I cannot give you my opinion as the whether or not the drinks are good or the service is good. He did do pretty decent job decorating the place as there isnt any empty areas on the walls. There isnt a whole lot of unique sports memorabilia, but then again this is Bangor Maine, and we are two states away from any professional sports franchise and the local sports scene is an absolute joke and the college sports here hasnt had anything to root for since 42-1-2. He did put a decent effort into creating an environment for anyone and everyone, but falls short on who to directly cater to. Overall one of the best of its kind in the area well done.
