Hermes Hotel in Kos

What a lovely hotel nice and quiet rooms where Cleaned every day + Clean towels the owners where lovely and very helpful I wasnt very keen on kefalos so unfortunately we wont be returning but I would recommend hermes hotel the views are fantastic we wasin room 204 just returned this morning 1/10/2022 if you have mobility issues there is 76 steps going up to this room 204 worth it for the views 😀 and also fantastic pool breakfast was OK

Fantastic find.. hotel spotless.. large pool and pool bar.. breakfast included and was more than enough. Staff amazing and went up and above to help out.

A nice family run hotel all the staff are absolutely lovely really helpful friendly nothing is to much trouble nice swimming pool with bar rooms are nice with a fantastic sea view air conditioned with fridge but starting to look a little tiered, nice bar in reception very reasonably priced with safe deposits boxes and a nice free breakfast served daily

Just got back yesterday after my friend and I stayed 9 nights at the Hermes Hotel. Having stayed in other hotels in Kefalos previous years, the Hermes Hotel is the best with regards to largest amazing pool and pool bar, the rooms, hotel bar and the breakfast. All staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. The only down side was the road down the hill to the restaurants but we got used to it after a few times. Would definitely recommend this hotel as 5 stars for everything they had to offer. Two very happy guests.

Hotel was cleaned and towels changed every day except Sunday staff very friendly Diane was absolutely lovely beautiful hotel 15mins walk to beach restaurants etc but of a trek up and down hill then 3 lots of steep stairs to clean when at the hotel was a bit much sometimes doing it 4 times a day definitely recommend if you don’t have mobility issues

We have just had a lovely short break here. It’s not a 5* but it is 5 out of 5 for a 3*.Lovely staff, foods been good, decent pool and pool bar/snacks and the room was great too.The location is fab for hills on one side and the beach/front 10 minutes down hill. Plenty of nice restaurants within a short walk to keep you busy over a week.

Lovely hotel, great location, 5-10 min walk from beach, bars restaurants etc. Spotless, lovely pool area, excellent staff. Those with mobility issues may struggle a bit as its on a hill and there are lots of steps around the hotel but you can request ground floor rooms. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend!

It was very clean, swimming pool was excellent,food from pool bar was great value and cooked fresh.The owners / team were very welcoming and could not do enough to make your stay trouble free.Will definitely be returning.

Just the hill walking up and down the busy road but hotel are fab

Lovely owners and team here at the Hermes.About 20 mins from town and it is on a steep hill.Breakfast dissappointing could have had more choice.But overall good.

Spotlessly clean,cleaned rooms everyday clean sheets&towels daily.amazing owners and all the staff are very dedicated ..very welcoming MKS you feel like family...Breakfast was beautiful nothing what some reviews said..we had cereals,toast,fresh eggs,cold meats, cheeses,olives,feta,cheese/broccoli bakes,jams,peppers,yummy big fresh tomatoes (my favourite)...juice machine tea/coffee machine..good start to the day...if you want a English breakfast or omelette etc you have to pay extra which is understandable..I loved breakfast as we had..10/10.

Love this hotel staff are fantastic treat everyone like family Maria behind the bar makes everyone welcome and will do anything for you and Diana and Sebastian are the perfect host nothing is to much for them to help and make you feel like family in every way the rooms are spotless will be returning in September and would highly recommend in the pool bar food and drinks are cheap and spiros is such a gentleman and will make u feel welcome breakfast is continental but plenty to choose from the hill isnt that bad as people make it out to be great hotel well done to the owners and all the staff 👏👏👏

Hermes hotel very friendly they can not do enough for you. The only thing is that the transport is really BAD...To get to different places is awful.it need more buses or Taxis to get people about thank youG Lawson

Quiet hotel.Breakfast could do with upgradeRooms need a TV

Just arrived nice and clean but a bit out of the way.No hot water in the shower it was very cold🥶 not even tepidBut if thats my only complaint then the excellent room and friendly staff more than compensate

For the price you pay its a lovely basic hotel and the owners are lovely, mini fridge in room but no kettle so take your own. Its a short 10 min walk slight downhill to nearest pebble beach , the walk back however is a killer on the calf muscles if out of shape! The steps up to back hotel block near did me in a few times but Im asthmatic and unfit thanks to lockdown lol. The view from rooms is amazing though. Plenty space at pool though we didnt use it as I like to be out and about. Air con is £7 a day extra. Safes are not in your room they are in reception we just used a suitcase and padlock. Daily maid service.

Brilliant Holiday,very welcoming.Room was nice and clean and comfortable.nice bar,food and pool area.Not suitability for any with disabilities or with difficulties climbing steep steps and hills,No taxis.

First time in kos . The hermes hotel was great staff so friendly .Rooms were spotless just needed little bits but we managed .will definitely be going again the owners Diane Sebastian and son Nic what lovely people

Its clean, effective orderly system for breakfast, friendly staff who are mostly helpful. Dont forget to say kalimera in the morning it is Greece after all 😁🇬🇷👍

Fabulous, we have been coming here for years and have always had the warmest welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for Diane and Sebastion. If you want somewhere to chill ou for a week or two this is definitely the place. Highly recommended.

Rooms are basic but clean, pay for what you get. The staff in the hotel are absolutely lovely, pool and bar area spot on. Enjoyed our holiday in kefalos and our stay at hermes.

Beautiful place to stay cant thank them enough went out of thier way to help me. Clean and tidy lovely rooms and wonderful pool with plentiful sun loungers. Cheap prices for food and drink

Lovely place to stay very friendly staff room was nice and clean. Steps are a bit of a problem for some people. Great pool and snack bar. Plenty of sunbeds. Would definitely go back.

Basic room but very clean. A few add ons!!! Pay to hire a kettle, pay for safe which is not in room, to keep room is dear at 25€ and breakfast poor but offer menu to purchase from. Staff helpfull and friendly. Good spot with open views.

Really friendly atmosphere the views were amazing, ,,we up high so even better the drive way and stairs a bit steep for some so just take it easy..I found it quite manageable

Diana, Sebastian and their staff are very welcoming and work hard to make your stay enjoyable. Rooms are very clean. Have stayed 3 times before and standards have remained high on each occassion. New format to breakfast this time is a big improvement with a full continental breakfast as inclusive but still able to order fruit or cooked breakfasts as extra.Will be back.

Lovely hotel with lovely staff and views. The pool is great as is the food. Stayed here in June of 2019 and was not disappointed. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was incredible. Highly recommend the lamb and the buffet. Only downside is not many young people such as me and my friends when we were staying there but many would see that as a bonus. 10/10 would reccomend

A beautiful situated hotel/apartment. Staff very friendly rooms very clean and comfortable. Unable to bring your own food and drink so have buy from the hotel or eat out, but little difference in price anyway. It’s Greece and it’s a 3star hotel. Lots of stairs and hills but as far as the staff and the rooms go.....excellent

My daughter got married on the 27th Aug, Diana,Sebastian and staff did us proud. We had a wonderful time. And we will be back again next year.

Very clean Hotel lovley staff always willing to help. You are in Greece so basic, people complain about breakfast but this is a 3 star toast and fruit juice tea or coffee is what you would have at home. Lovley views of the bay and village is just a short walk up the hill.

Very clean, staff and owners very friendly. Bit expensive to hire air conditioning. Impossible to keep water etc chilled as electric goes off if you leave room!!! Quite a hike uphill from main part of Kefalos and beaches.

Staying here right now, you get what you pay for. The hotel staff are amazing and friendly people cant fault anything, clean rooms, stunning views. Only thing i could say negative is no kettle in the rooms but you can hire one for a small charge. Will definitely be booking again.

We spent a lovely week at the HermesSebastian and Diane were great hostsThe hotel is clean and very friendlyAll the staff are happy to help make your stay a pleasant one Spiro the barman /waiter/go to guy deserbes a mention what a great guyComments about breakfast are not trueAcooked breakfast is available at a small charge the meals in the evening are basic but very tastyYes it is on a hill but you dont have to be s mountaineer to climb it a visit to Kefalos town at the top is well worth the walk up the hill 76 steps a walk along the road which can be busy and then 26 steps to the top we spent a lot of nights sitting in the Diporto bar watching people watchingOnly one complaint the water is heated by solar power and we found only hot water in the evening but not a major problem as we hired a kettle need a cup of tea first thing!!!!Overall a great stay and would certainly stay again as for a lot of the negative comments may i suggest that you pay more and stay in the bigger hotels near Kos but if you like small and friendly the Hermes is the place to be .

We booked bed and breakfast here. The breakfast choice was toast or nothing as they had run out of cereal. If you wanted anything other than that you had to pay extra. Not what I expected having booked bed and breakfast.We are vegetarian and there was just the one option for dinner.....stuffed peppers and tomatoes. So glad we hadnt booked half board.No hot water for a shower in the morning as it is heated by solar panels and the sun doesnt get warm until 9am at least in October when we went A back up system would be a good idea. The excuse we were given for all this was that its the end of the season. Not good enoughWe enjoyed Los but not the hotel. Gave it one star because the room was clean and the staff pleasant.

The people were lovely breakfast wasnt too good but you could pay for extra,s the Greek yogurt, fruit and honey was very nice rooms were clean maybe lacking storage space but otherwise ok

I loved this place! We had a brilliant time here and Id love to come back soon. Diana, Sebastian and staff cant do enough for you and make you feel so welcome. I didnt want to go home.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are well sized and cleaned regularly. The food is tasty, however the continental breakfast could have conssited of a bit more rather than just toast and cereal. Great trip, would visit here again.
