Hermaness National Nature Reserve car park - Car Park in Shetland, United Kingdom
Most puffins Ive ever seen
Very picturesque..
Cracking views and start to a long nature park and walk beautiful......
If you like wild ,wind swept places this is for you.
Amazing views of the huge gannet colony. Well worth the walk and puffins close by too
Absolutely awesome views when you get to the top, its about 40 minute walk from the car park but WELL WORTH IT.
Around 1h walk to the coast. Empty route in the winter. Nice!
Good afternoon out
Well worth the walk.. suspect that in bonxie breeding season this would be a 5*
Fabulous location. And Muckle Flugga too, the most northerly point in the UK.
Brilliant place we had a slight breeze and warm weather. The Gannets and their babies where superb. If you are intending to walk up you do need stout boots and prepare for some ruff terrain. Some up hill and down, but the views a amazing, well worth it.
Beautiful
Camped here for two nghts in April, got to see puffin, skua, gannet along with many others. Main path is great but thats about it in terms of walking paths, there is a rough path to the northernmost tip of the UK and thats it i would have liked a coastal path around the headland to see more of the cliffs.
Amazing and outstanding area of natural beauty, fantastic walks and breathtaking cliffs, definitely worth a visit.. Highly recommended.
Was really fine and windy and cold and... snowy... Feb is the best!!!
Amazing hiking, impressive cliffs and lots of birds. 100% worthwhile
A steep haul up, then perfect walking conditions along short grass. Spectacular view (in the seasonof puffins and gannets.
