Heritage Hop Haus in Boise

As a beer house serving sushi Id never have expected top 40 horrible teenager music (should have walked out). Add in some really slow service. Then top it off with our server acting as if shes had zero training and seemed to be on something. Good beer and average sushi enabled the 2 star. Good luck.

They have a lot of good beers in tap. Kind of a small area and can get busy.

Came in for a lunch time brew and light sushi roll. Sushi was fire and the selection of beers and cider on tap is amazing. Adam was our bar keeper and he was so knowledgeable of everything he had on tap, made great suggestions and let us try samples of some amazing new things. Cannot say enough good about him. He had great knowledge of the beers and the suchi menue. AMAZING! 10/10 Adam is the man.

Excellent place for a beverage of choice & yummy sushi! Very comfortable friendly place in downtown Meridian. We ordered wings for an appetizer and were not disappointed! They were priced by the wing but if you got 10 of them it was in "the same ballpark" as the other apps. They were the perfect blend of crispness & sauce. We ordered a couple sushi rolls & they were excellent too.

Great happy hour destination in downtown Meridian. Tremendous selection. On sure sushi if you’re hungry. I love this place.

Great service and beer selection. Best sushi weve had anywhere(we lived in California for 15yrs & moved back here a year ago, Even the presentation was noticable. We went 2 days in a row to try more of the menu. Self-seating. Has outside tables too.

The nicest beer haus I have ever been too. Super friendly staff. Beer selection is bar none. Tons of local Idaho breweries.Meridian is also a cute down to wander around before you stop inside.

Great food great service

Was told highly of this place from multiple co workers. It’s close to my work so thought I would give it a try for lunch. Was told the sushi was really good. Got there and was told to sit where ever I would like. Sat on the patio with two other groups being out there and they both were helped multiple times. Waited 15 minutes just for a menu and wasn’t ever asked if I wanted anything to drink. Waited another 30 minutes wasn’t even acknowledged that I was there. Had to get up and walk away so I had spend my whole lunch break waiting and not being able to eat anything. This place is very disorganized and ran very poorly will not be going back

Decent sushi and a large tap selection with some great beers

A bit on the expensive side but well worth the money. This is the best tasting sushi in Treasure Valley. The service is friendly and quick as well.

I’m not saying the service or merchandise are bad… was at a rest area and saw a advertisement on a travel guide, so I can here, when ask if there’s any to go container… they said no… then why have photos that kind of indicate so… 😑

This is one of, if not my favorite, spots in the valley. Awesome service and delicious food and drinks. I love this place! It never disappoints.

Had a large group meet up for drinks and when the restaurant started experiencing technical difficulties our waitress got overwhelmed. It would have been a minor inconvenience and totally understandable if the manager hadnt come to our table to acuse us of making the waitress cry. The manager was rude and did absolutely nothing to resolve any of the issues we experienced or to help her employee. It was really a shame because otherwise I would probably have come back another time.

Words alone cant describe this place! Outstanding service, food, atmosphere and drinks! Cameron makes the best martini west of the Mississippi.

Heritage has a superb selection of drafts and a pretty decent happy hour. I dont mess with bar bites but food can be ordered from upstairs. Good environment and staff.

Surprising seafood in a chill bar atmosphere. Great poke and lots of fun with trivia night.Also had great mocktails!

My wife and I really liked this place. We have been several times and always a good experience. We enjoy the beer selection and the large Bavarian pretzel. Cheese dip could be a little thicker so would stick to the pretzel better

Amazing head bartender, nice to talk to about all sorts of stuff! They have an excellent selection of hard liquor, plus seem to always have about 40 beers on tap downstairs. Theres something for everyone here!

This place is a hidden secret in downtown Meridian. The staff are very friendly and I would describe the atmosphere as sheek. They have a great selection of rotating beers on tap and great cocktails. If you like sushi, look no further. The sushi shack is legit!

We play trivia here on Wednesdays and it has become one of the highlights of our week! All the guys who work downstairs are great! They have a good beer selection and a decent selection of bar food.

Great place to get together for a beer. Lots of different choices to satisfy any beer liver. Food is probably good too, but didnt have anything but a piece of pretzel which was great.

One of the best sushi/poké spots I have had, the renovation work is amazing the style the atmosphere of this entire place is beyond amazing, Cody the owner is super awesome! His staff is beyond on top of it All! Anyone checking this place out has to make the move and eat there!

Second worst dining experience of my life. Extremely disorganized and cluttered with no covid appropriate spacing. If youre into coffee so weak you can see through it, this is the place for you! Service was terrible! My husbands order came within a few minutes which was nice but then it took 40 minutes to get our sushi order, which then turned out to not be worth the wait as it was extremely bland and more rice than fish.The waitress never presented a paper bill and first quoted $55 but charged $65. I could have stayed and argued with a manager about it but by that point I just wanted to get out of there. Very disappointing as I drove over to Meridian specifically to eat here.

LOVE Heritage Hop Haus! Great beer selection and divine cocktails. John is fantastic behind the bar. Always smiling and friendly. You can sit upstairs or downstairs depending on your mood, each has its own vibe. Their bar snacks have always been great, but the new sushi menu is amazing.

We LOVE Heritage! Ever since they got Sushi Shack on board, its been our go-to date night for sushi and great cocktails. Trivia night on Wednesdays is especially fun, and the bartenders downstairs are really welcoming and knowledgeable about what they have on tap. Parking is pretty easy since downtown Meridian is still small, and the basement atmosphere is unique.

Cool joint with some really good beers on tap. Didnt try the Sushi but it looked really good. Only complaint would be that I felt the Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA I got was a bit past its prime. Just didnt taste fresh like an IPA should. Definitely be back though!

Bomb place the Sushi is amazing and they have great drinks. This is one of the best sushi places I have ever been to. This place has an amazing atmosphere and is located in Downtown Meridian.

This place is amazing. My husband took me here on a birthday date. Upstairs has an upscale lounge vibe. We order sushi and cocktails. Their sushi is one of the best Ive tried since moving to Idaho. Downstairs is the pub where great beers and pub inspired food is served. Want beer and sushi? You can ordered in either area, just choose your vibe.

Fantastic atmosphere. Friendly, laid back pub downstairs... swanky adult lounge upstairs. Pub grub was bomb and Sushi Shack was delicious. Fresh and great portions. Lots of specialty drinks and taps. Highly recommend.

This was a pleasant visit to what was expected to be a hole in the wall place. It was busy but not too busy, we were served beers as soon as we sat down at the bar. Great selection of beer at great prices. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they only have a beer menu at the front of the bar, my friend and I sat around the corner and could only choose from the beers we saw on tap, since we couldnt see the beer menu. Overall, will definitely visit again, great atmosphere where you can actually talk to people without the distraction of a bunch of TVs everywhere.

If you like a big selection of beer, this place is perfect. A massive wall of options, and I like that they give you extra details on the beer, like the IBUs.The style is very casual. Its in a basement, with stone walls. Heavy duty tables. Just very relaxing.They also have a new place going in right above them. Same owners from what the bartender told me. Cant wait, looks like a very "modern" style, so opposite of this place.

Draft beer heaven! Tons of amazing craft beers on tap, and a full bar as well. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. A great place to grab some beer, some pub food, and hang out with friends!

Great little spot to gather after work for snacks and beers. There’s a wide range of options, and the bar staff are happy to help you decide. Recently, they opened a full bar as well, for those not inclined toward beer or cider, so there are plenty of options.

In the heart of old Town Meridian with a unique atmosphere in a basement setting with some pretty cool decor. A vast variety of craft beers I believe 34 or more. I purchased this cool pint glass to bring home for only $4 I will definitely be back soon!
