Heng Huat Coffee Shop - Coffee shop in Kampung Bukit Baharu, Malaysia
Coffee tastelessWan tan mee is the worst I triedFood are overpriced ~Nyonya kuih and bread... no noMorning ruined π
Great kaya toast β not too much butter! Small portion wanton mee was perfect for breakfast. Staff were friendly, especially the cute old lady making the toast
wanton mee was the best of the orders. prepared and served fast. toasts were also good however would have been better if charcoal grilled. find your own seats before placing orders at the stalls.
Traditional simple wanton mee. Do ask for the red chilli paste and sliced green chilli if they forgot to give you. Kaya toast was not bad too. Kopi was nice, with good body and well brewed
The coffee totally tasteless.
If youre in Jonker Street early in the morning, this is the only kopitiam that is opened. And their coffee taste good. ππ» They sell Kuih Muih too, and Ive tried almost all of them, every of the Kuih is superb. ππ»
Delicious Wan Tan Mee
Love the traditional wantan mee.
Old school wanton mee, I think they got use ηͺζ²Ή. Like the texture of the noodle.
Goshβ¦ love the old school wanton noodle n kopi c. You have to also try their traditional bread! Itβs soft n melt in your mouth. Simple yet fulfilling. So blessed to meet the θε©ε©, who greeted us. Sweetness.
Definitely the worst coffee I ever had. Itβs so diluted that I thought I was drinking ice water. Pricy and not worth the price. The toast are fine though, normal wanton mee
Traditional wanton noodle but drink a bit plain
Coffee definitely is one of the best that I have tasted. Your classic kedai kopi. Wantan mee was nice.
The taste of the wantan mee was not great at all and the price of RM5 for such a small plate is mad expensive! However the bread was quite decent so you could give it a try.
Nice π
Surprised to find this local coffeeshop with local prices so near to jonker walk. Managed to find a parking lot 180m away and walked. Al dente noodles, regular charsiew and neatly handmade wantons. Pleasant staff and prompt service. They also serve Kaya toast and eggs.
Nice, cosy kopitiam known for their wantan mee. Kaya toast and half boiled eggs did it for me
local coffee shop with a good noodle stall
The wantan mee is not nice. Bland. Have eaten better wantan mee in other parts of Malaysia. Not sure why so many good reviews. I kena bad batch of seasoning?.. But they are running a wantan mee business, cant be suddenly not nice?.. Or Aunty was unhappy that morning?.. The wantans are nice though, but you can get the same nice wantans elsewhere. The texture of the noodles are like the Pontian noodles chain you can get in Singapore. No need to use up your stomach space for the wantan mee here in my opinion.
Wow very good wanton noodle! Old school traditional taste. One of the better wanton noodle Ive tasted. Try to eat if u are in jonker area. But morning to late morning only.
Someway, nearby Jonker Boutique Hotel and we walking into Heng Huat for breakfast. Wan Tan Noodle and coffee for our morning calling. Delicious. One of the best. Especially when eaten alongside the sambal and the sambal already in the noodle as well. Pretty much affordable, but expect no spectacular service. Just order and enjoy your meal. Basically, dont expect to be showered even with tadbit bit of smile. Cleanliness wise - yea. I wont downgrade.
Come early if you want to eat the wanton mee!
Wantan mee stall since 1955Its delish, especilaly the wantan, the skin so thin that it feels like melting inside your mouth. They sell char kwe tiau, when not cooking wantan mee.
Super cheap and good wanton mee. A good place to try what the locals eat if youre sick of touristy food/traps
Quaint little coffee shop hidden in a corner. At the front is a traditional Wan Tan noodle stall helmed by an elderly couple.βWan Tanβ if you not familiar is typically pork wrapped in a dumpling skin and served in soup.Thereβs lot of food at Jonker walk area and I chanced upon this stall as we were searching for alternatives to the extremely popular Dim Sum stall nearby.
Despite installing cooler, place is still warm. But this place has great wanton noodles. Worth the walk
This is not the best wanton mee but it is still extremely delicious worthy of 5 stars. The place is very small and stuffy, especially if you are sitting inside. Order, sit, eat and go.
Ordered the hor fun (cooked kuay teowas wonton noodles are sold out. It was delicious.
Delicious and good spice. Might be too salty for some. Noodles 12RM
Its a nice restaurant to enjoy a Wan Tan Mee (5,50 MYR for medium). You need to order at the stall to get yourself served (otherwise you gonna stay a long time at your table). The food came quick and it was enjoyable. The place is cramped so it can get pretty hot inside. The service was OK.
Wantan mee is their specialty, not the best wan tan new, but definitely worth trying if you are in the area. Usually no queue, but serving may still take a while as they prepare plate by plate
Good Hainanese Kopi-O and kopi-C. Wantan noodles is old-school traditional flavour and tasted good.
Very interesting flavor and texture. The noodle has real texture!
Noodles is delicious but not the coffee.
Long Lost and Found.. Many years ago Ah Poh, the current daughter-in-law now take over as Ah Poh is too old and pass on... Shifted twice from the days from selling along beginning of Jonker Street..a treasure to find to enjoy the wonderful Wonton Noodle again after so many years...
No luck with the food store as a queue has already formed before our arrival.
great deal. 5.5RM for medium size wantong noodle plus 2.5RM for cold kopi. experienced a lot of local taste and atmosphere.
Came to try the wantan mee, nice
Really one of the Best Wanton Mee Iβve Had. The Noodles are Chewy and the Chilli is πͺπ»ππ».
I am not a noodle fan.. but I really think the Wan Tan Mee here is first class! I came back 2 days in a row for these!
Im not a huge fan of dry wonton mee so I can only defer to my girlfriends judgement who thought it was very good. Its cheap, the serving size is sufficiently small enough for you to try out other stuff, cant complain as a tourist.
Has moved from old shop. From Jonker Street, turn into Jalan Hang Lekiu, before Masjid Kampong Kling. Value for money and tasty wanton noodles.
Nice wanton mee..but the coffee shop is no longer at the location shown on the map..is now at jalan heng lekiu
Loved the Wanton mee at Jonker street jln hang jebat! Quaint little Heng Huat coffee shop... n the coffee n tea were Delish!
Good taste all the GuZaBi is here.Nomore at the old place, they moved to Jalan Hang Lekiu, just nearby, walk 50 meter ahead turn left and walk further 30steps you will see the shop on your left.
Looking for tasty noodle at morning? Heres the right place to visit
The place is nothing fancy. It is a typical chinese local shop. The wonton noodles isnt wow me. Its okay, but nothing surprise me
The noodle is not as good as they say. But the portion is huge
RM4.50 for small wanton mee which is quite filling already. The taste was alright (no longer cooked by the old lady), char siew is small and only a few pieces, would say pontian wanton noodles is better.
Cheap wan tan mee. Coffee is ok!
