Wow, the most horrible experience ever! We waited for the waiter for a while, and when he finally arrived he said that they don’t serve the public. Apparently you have to be part of some fake club to get a drink here, meanwhile our friends have been there before. Go give your money to another business that actually appreciates it. Screw these pretentious people.

I cannot describe how much I love this bar. It is very cozy with an array of drinks a piano at the back and if you are lucky enough you get to meet the house cat that simply rests on the bar

A very cool backstreet jazz bar in the centre of Tirana.Service was incredibly polite and we watched the waiter pull further tables from thin air in order to accommodate prospective punters.There was a live pianist creating a beautiful atmosphere as well as a looped projection of ‘The Rum Diaries’ which added to the atmosphere.This place is clearly popular with tourists and locals and well worth a visit.

Great decoration and unique atmosphere. I am not expert at cocktails but badmaid provides details about liquors. By this way you can choose the one suits your appetite.

They discriminate on entry. They use membership need as an excuse not to let certain people in. Definitely not in the spirit of the great inclusive writer Hemingway.

This was a beautiful night. The jazz music was terrific. However, that does not even compare to the service from the lovely staff.The beers and cocktails went down well. And that’s coming from a veteran drinker. Definitely order the German beer over the Belgium beer.Safe to say I thoroughly enjoyed my night. Will look great on the Instagram!!

They say that turist are not alowed in this bar.

Went there, sat there. The bartender came and said to me and my friends "We are not an open bar" without any added clarification. Either they dont like tourists or they accept only special members. For a tourist, both of those possibilities are a big no go. My advice for non-albanians is to search for something else!

Best bar in town with the HUGE selection of bottles. Very friendly and kind staff.

Glorified dive bar that wishes it was more. As others mentioned, the rude waitress is a major problem. 2nd star only for the bottle selection. Some exotics, but mostly overpriced.

Absolute peach of a find in Tirana! I like everything about this place, even if the pavement outside is under construction at the moment. Good selection of drinks and not badly priced. Recommend if you’re in town.

This place is a freaking vibe! Lovely, shabby-chic, awesome jazz music, super friendly waiter, plus they have a beautiful cat living in the bar (!). Ive been to a number of Hemingway bars in my time - this one deserves the name and i am pretty sure old Ernest would approve.This place fills my heart with joy.

There are a handful of very special bars that Ive been to in my travels and this ranks among the best. The warm intimate setting, the friendly waitress, the music. Just a perfect way to waste away an evening. I cant wait to return here on my next trip to Tirana.

I loved this place! For me one of the best in Tirana to have some drinks with friends. Very cozy and nice cocktails! All the people working there is sooo nice, even the cat!

Spent a very enjoyable evening here. The interior is remarkable and full of quotes, the staff is very helpful and they have a cat around. Will be back for sure!

One of if not the best bars in the whole city. Definitely a must see

Overrated. The bar itself is tiny, so most of the seating is outside on the street, which is essentially a building site. If the bar were located in an actually cool part of town such as Blloku, then it might be better. In fairness, the cocktail prices are pretty reasonable (500-700lekbut beer and wine prices arent shown on the menu, so you just have to wait and see what comes up on the bill. A glass of wine is 400. Also the mojito was 550 despite saying 500 on the menu. It is perhaps the staff that let it down the most. They are dressed in some sort of traditional Cuban garb but thats where the illusion ends. They are not well trained in customer service - if this were a regular Albanian bar then fine, but its posing as something its not. If it is supposed to reflect some sort of travellers respite, chilled out cigar-and-rum vibe then it fails. Even the music isnt jazz. Worth a drink if you happen to be in the neighbourhood - which you wouldnt be unless you are staying there - but not worth a trip.

Interesting place inspired by Hemingway! Prices are good. Cocktails available but you have to plan on 15 mins until you get your drink! Very close to the center of tirana.

I visited the Hemingway Bar in Tirana in early December. Great exterior, wonderful interior, and fine courteous service. And the cocktails are excellent. Id go back for sure if Im lucky enough to get to Tirana again. As I was leaving the bar, I think it was the owner that very kindly came up to me and asked if everything was good. Thats great service!

Nice place and a lovely cat but unfriendly waitress. We went there with 2 friends at a time where just the 3 waitresses and a couple were there around 6 PM just to have a beer. Since we hadnt seen each other for a long time we were full of joy and respectively talking a lot. The unfriendly waitress came and asked us to lower the voice, as if we were in a library and not in a cuban drinks place. We all have bad days but at work you need to wear a smile :)

Great atmosphere and a really cool place to have a drink. Sadly no live music at the moment due to Covid restrictions. Still enjoyable all the same

Rly liked the place, it has such a relaxed atmosphere. They told us that they have about 500 different spirits.

Very touristic and often too packed. Also, they dont advertise that they sell inexpensive local beer - a little off that they are trying to sell yiu an expensive cocktail instead. Also, when we were there, they were just playing Reggae nit Jazz.

A really cool bar which transfers you out of Tirana to anywhere in the world with a jazzy atmosphere, good conversations and tasty cocktails. Must-visit for the peculiar crowd.

You just seat there and things will happen. So easy to observe locals and meet travellers. The relaxed atmosphere, the Charismatic waitress and also A beamer projecting mr. Bean movies in the background on the front building façade

I would give to Hemingway 10 stars if I could. This place is fantastic for both locals and travelers. It’s a rendezvous place for people who enjoy good drinks, good music and good energy. They opened almost 10 years ago and kept the exact same philosophy. 💜

Walking by this place, I had to go in! The atmosphere is awesome and both the bartenders I spoke with were incredibly friendly, cheerful and made good conversation. They had a great selection of rum and scotch, some of which can be pricey. I would expand the cocktail menu to include more than a handful of drinks but thats my only suggestion.

Very kitchsy bar, good drinks, they are hosting a jazz festival soon and this would be a fun place to see live music. Great service- the gentleman serving us had good beer recommendations and was so friendly. Overall, we had a great time and we will be bringing our friends back!

Highly recommended spot for cocktails. Its a cozy place on a quiet street and great for conversation either inside or out. They have an excellent selection of rum, gin, and whiskey but are best know for their rum. Definitely worth a stop in Tirana.

There is no better place in Tirana to swap stories with intellectuals and creatives. The drinks are also nice — wide selection and great craft cocktails.
