Hells Bells Rockin' Pub - Bar in Prague, Czech Republic
Killer bar, great selection of beers and spirits. Great vibe and awesome bar staff!!!
Pretty much the way a metal bar should be.
Simple little bar with great music, amazing prices and cool paintings around.
Cool bar, cheap beer and good music 😊
Best metal bar around for metalheads looking for the true Prague experience!
Great IPA and of course great music if you are a fan of heavy metal. Also got a good sortiment of whiskey and bourbon.
Really rude guy behind the bar. Wont return. Major disappointment as a rock and metal fan
Nice music, good beers :)
Perfect atmosphere for a metalhead to serve a good beer! I strongly recommend it. Love from Romania 🇷🇴🤘
Not much to do but that might depend on the time and day.Good and cheap beer with real metal music.Nice atmosphere, would recommend for sure. Will be dropping by again when near
It is a basement with creepy entry, it stinks inside, no ventilation at all , the toilet is disgusting and miserable. Beer prices are cheap though
Great to have place for old stinky dudes to have a drink
Ace interior, good atmosphere, cheap pints.
A fantastic find! A must visit for any metal fan finding themselves in Prague.
It’s something of a rarity. Oh god. The walls look like catacomb! The interior is so cool, the place is hidden and the music is great 😎 feels like home
An awesome metal cave with fair prices. If you want to escape the regular crowded tourist traps that offer you basic techno music, an ATM, and a money exchange - this is your place to go! The staff was very nice too :)
Great bar! I found myself in need of escaping annoying tourist traps and said "a basement rock bar? Yep, thats the one" The music is loud, the beer is cheap, and it looks kinda like a cave! Love it 🤘
Awesome rock / metal bar! Definitely worth the visit
Nice music and great craft beer. Totally recomended if you like rock and metal.
Went while it was fairly quiet.Still OK.Main barman was chatty enough.Didnt recognise some songs, but partner did. All metal of some kind.Happy to go again if we ever visit.
Small in size--at least the main area--but big in personality and service. Went there twice so far. Great music, good beer and drinks, good service. Little nooks to hide out in.
A must-visit for any rock/metalhead the makes it to Prague.+ wide choice of beer+ funny barman+ dark, gritty atmosphere+ mostly good mooded patrons+ small, calmer, more private side rooms
Ive been living on 3 continents and this is the Best metal bar so far! Nothing fancy, but good beer and best memories in the last decade!
Pragues go to metal/rock pub. The staff are super friendly. As an Aussie solo tourist; I could sit here for hours listening to the music talking to randoms and drinking till I wanted to stop. And stupidly affordable at that
Fantastic wee bar. Down in the cellar, very reasonable drink prices. Good music. Only bad point is its a bit of a walk to go for a smoke
The dude behind the bar was amazing. we didnt need to ask for any drinks save the one we ordered when we arrived. He was back and forth and made sure we had something the whole evening.
Great rock/metal pub in Prague. The beer is cheap and it stays open late. Well worth a visit if drinking and rocking out are your thing.
Very cool place. Great vibe
Really good!! Good music, good drinks and wonderful people
Great little rock bar in Prague. After coming from the UK I was happy to find this place on my last night of being here!! Good music too no nu metal which was a relief! Only 4 star because you cant pay with card which is a bid strange seeming as we are in the 21st century ! 😄
All the ingredients for a perfect rock/metal bar are found in Hell’s Bells in Prague: It is located in a musty basement with vaults in the Andrel quarter, giving it a medieval feel, you somehow expect an alchemists laboratory or a torture chamber in there. A small stage on the opposite end of the bar allows live gigs, and as we saw one with a band from Chile (!called Pacifico, we can say with confidence that the sound in there is great. There were four different types of beer on tap, each one as great as you can hope in the Czech Republic. When we returned on a regular night, the music was on the rougher side of metal, which is fine for us. The decoration is genre typical with a certain amount of patina that indicates the place is around for quite a while. If you go looking for the place, it is a little bit hard to find, as they don’t really advertise and only a very small sign showing that it is down there somewhere.
Solid metal bar, service is totallt fine only one person in the bar.If you want to meet people you can if you only want to drink beer and listen to music you can do that too.Not an tourist place mix with the locals.
The best heavy metal bar in Prague. Must visit! 4 or 5 different types of draft beer, good music and interesting people. The bartender is a funny guy. Thanks for the great time!
Very interesting beer, choice of other beers than theirs as well. Rather drunken people at night, might be annoying. Typical Czech pub with a very metal vibe to it.
We came her to listen to some good music and to drink a few beers. Little did we know, that we would also get to know so many nice people and have a real fantastic night. Its important to know, that they start really early on Fridays, so dont come too late, we got there at 10pm, everything was full (two guys offered us the chairs of two of their smoking friends 😂and the people went home at 11.30 (not all, but many). When asking they told us, that it is common to arrive early (like 7 or 8). Beer is really cheap and tasty. When we returned on Saturdays (kept in mind to arrive in timewe were a little bit disappointed, because there werent that many people. So when having to choose between Friday and Saturday, take Friday, they told us its the better day for this bar, but the music was good on both days 🤘
Had a very good time at Hells Bells. Cool music and fun people. Very cheap beer and drinks. I paid with some kind of trust agreement. Got a note that they put a line on for every beer I got. The downside was that it smelled badly at the bar as I think it was smoking allowed.
Great bar! The bartender was super cool and the vibe was all metal. Prague definitely needs more places like this.
Cool place :rockers/metalheads this is for you :)
Best Rock bar in Prag Good music and coolt beer. Rekomend this to all.
Great bar, great music, great staff. I can imagine this place is wild on a weekend.
Amazing heavy metal bar with a true "underground" atmosphere, which isnt strange, since the pub is located in a basement. Great selection of beer and liquor. The prices are good, the staff is friendly and the music is outstanding. Sometimes live bands will perform on stage and the whole place will be jumping. If youre hungry, theres a selection of food to be had as well. The clientele is very friendly, as is usually the case in a metal bar. Theres always a good mix of regulars, tourists and casual patrons there. The place stays open until people want to go home.Dont miss this place if you are visiting Prague!
looking for an epic metal bar in Prague? look no further than Hells Bells Rockin pub!! travel quite far from my hotel to find it but so worth it. tucked away, almost missed but luckily we didnt. if you love your metal then you have to go here. guy behind the bar was friendly and spoke English and the drink were really cheep. great value for money. my only regret was not discovering it till my last night. next time Im in Prague i will be going back!!
Great metal bar, a short train ride from Prague center. Perfect venue for pre / post Brutal Assualt drinks ;friendly staff and affordable drinks.
Hands down the best Pub in Prague if you love Rock/Metal Music at high volume, nice and cheap beers and good people around you!Prague hidden Gem!
Kickass metal Music and cheap, quality drinks. Awesome atmosphere and super nice service who speaks english better than the queen of England herself. The bar tender was so nice he even accompanied some foreign customers to the tram station. 100/5 stars. Better than the sex machines Museum.
Drinks are super cheap and they play great metal all night. One of the best heavy metal bars ive ever been to. Bartenders speak excellent english and are super friendly.Being from the pacific northwest on the states where IPA is the #1 drink, i have to say their house IPA is absolutely killer! Its also one block from the subway if you are staying in old town or the east side.Perfect place for travelling metalheads!
Right, its a metal/heavy rock bar. You are not going hear Justin Beaver or Taylor Sparrow in here. Which is just fine. The music that played was mostly 80 and 90s metal. Smoking is allowed and most patrons oblige. A really nice crowd was in there on Saturday night, from the elderly rocking to the tune of Parkinsons to the young and angry with emotional issues. Incredibly nice and friendly staff, decent drink selection. Loved it.
Oh yeah. Wanna true metal experience of Prague? This and Error are your pubs. Dont expect much cleanliness, just bare necessities. At least gents restroom have urinals but no toilet seat. Beer is rather average, service is straightforward, music is metal. As simple as that. Drinks are served till it ceases to be profittable for the pub (usually 12-3am, though been there till 5am when there were people coming). If youre a special snowflake, dont come here. Goths, metalheads and such welcome.
Be careful and always ask for the price before you order a drink at the bar...otherwise you will be ripped off. You dont feel very welcome as a tourist. Actually, that is pretty sad because the place itself is awesome and full of local metal heads. Great music! Classic 80s metal e.g. Iron Maiden and Judas Priest.
Used to be a great place, when I was 20 and listening to metal. Still its fine for a hard rock concert or to have a few beers with friends. You can meet many metallist here, jukebox is full of harder music and at 10pm whole place is filled with mist and the bars anthem is played.
