Had dinner there last night. The sangria and basil/pineapple smoothie were fantastic. Ordered the pineapple rice and an appetizer and both were very good. Our friends had a mediocre Pad Thai and coconut milk soup. This place was a little far out of the way considering the food quality but the atmosphere of being in the jungle was great.

I recommend the place for the good food and view.

Very good place to dine with a view! It is somewhat hidden, but google maps + couple road signs will get you there without any issues.It’s significantly cheaper than places on the beach side, but the food is very good, and the shakes are excellent. You are seated on an elevated platform with a nice view on the jungle and the hill. There’s also a garden bed with pineapples! Totally worth the ride from Ao Nang.There are also several friendly cats chilling around.

The food here is heavenly. I brought my family here end of 2019, and I still have pleasant dreams of the food I had to this day..

Beautiful food, very welcoming staff. If your in the area please visit, you wont be disappointed. Mosquito spray was even supplied to all tables.

Nice place with beautiful view on the mountains. Price are correct 1400bht for 5 people with drinks. And everything was nice.

Nice place in the "wild", very good food and one of the best fruit juices ever! Also very good mango with sticky rice and coconut icecream!If you go for dinner, bring mosquito repellant!

Friendly staff in a quiet location (not too easy to find- even Google maps sent us down the wrong track to someones house).Great ROTI probably the best weve had. Nice curries and great Green Mango and cashew salad.Advertised beer on menu but declined to sell any due to a religious holiday, I would rather it be a dry restaurant than guess when to be able to purchase alcohol, however the smoothies were exceptional.

I thought the food was okay, nothing special. Much tastier and cheaper food can be found on the street.

Definitely the best place for dinner in An Nam Mao. Very attentive, nice and friendly staff. Delicious local food, can especially recommend Panang Curry with roti and Sticky Mango Rice with ice cream.It is a bit off the main road, but was worth visiting multiple times during our stay. Within walking distance from An Nam Mao hotels.The last time we visited, the sweet owner even gave us a ride back to the hotel!

It is not easy to find by coincidence which is a shame as both food and views are outstanding. I ate curry noodles with chicken and Mango Sticky Rice and were delicious. Staff is really nice and place is clean and pleasent. Dishess are served in a very nice way. Restaurant food in street food prices!

2 weeks in exploring all of Thailand and this was the best food we ate.The location is a bit off the main road, but trust in google maps and you’ll arrive safe and sound.The staff, quiet atmosphere, view, and food were second to none. We ordered their famous smoothies, appetizers, curries, and fried rice dishes. The prices and food freshness were great.We donated to the homeless cat fund to help them feed and take care of their many cats!They left us with a lasting impression and in the future we will come to Krabi just to eat here.Thank you HBM!

Hidden gem! We stayed in Ao Nang for a while, and this place has the BEST Thai food in town! Love the khao soi with roti.The staff is also extremely friendly, and as a bonus you get to play with their cats ;-)

The views from this restaurant are outstanding! Looking out over the countryside with the mountains in the background it is even mor3 amazing at sunset .Slightly off the beaten track, not long after the ( onlyroundabout on the way to Krabi Town, the Restaurant has beautifully presented Thai meals and plenty of parking available.The staff are friendly and helpful and the food well priced.Don’t miss this place!

I have reviewed Hello Blue Monkey on Tripadviser as well. This Restaurant is amazing and the food is authentic and cooked to perfection. The staff are also excellent. It is set in beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend at least one visit but we went back again and again. Treat yourself and enjoy.

Tucked away down a narrow road is one of the loveliest little Thai restaurants you could ever hope to find. To start things off, the ambiance here is comfortable, lush, and relaxed. The staff, well, they can make or break a place regardless of the food, and these ladies are incredible! Warm, friendly, open to have a chat, share stories, make recommendations of places to visit locally and throughout Thailand (we went to Koh Lanta on their suggestion and werent disappointed), they really do everything you could want to make you feel welcome.Now for the food...some of the best food weve had in our month visit to Thailand. I wont bore you with what we had specifically, but know these women take pride in the food they serve and it shows. You may even get a fresh passion fruit from their garden after your meal (pro tip they taught us, sprinkle a touch of salt on it. So good!)A big ขอบคุณ ครับ (Khawp khun kahpto the ladies at Hello Blue Monkey, youre the best!

Had a great local meal. Mussaman curry with roti was fantastic finished with mango an sticky rice also awsome. We will be back!!

Loved the unexpected isolated feel of the place. Beautiful views accompanied by perfect Thai freshly cooked food. They are extremely accommodating and so happy to have you there, they cheer one up.

This is a hidden gem. The food is cooked to perfection giving the thumbs up from all friends. It might be missed as the entrance is not very clear, but with maps it easy to find.

This place is legit. If you can find it, you will be rewarded. Literally the best restaurant in the area. Tried the massaman curry and the green curry, as well as the spring rolls and the sticky rice with mango. All the best weve had in krabi.Staff is really friendly to. Speaks good English and even offered to call us a taxi after they heard we took a tuk tuk from ao nang

Good view of the place same location as well as my home town

The food was delicious and the price was very reasonable. The view of the sunset from the restaurant, with a view of the jungle, is also amazing.This was secluded place that was not easy to find though but there is a sign along the main road. None of the taxi drivers seem to have heard of it.

The place was recommended to us by our dive instructor. It has to be one of the best hidden gems this side of Thailand. We went there half hour before sun down and was greeted by a brilliant sunset and views of the mountain range and restaurant garden. The food was amazing - we ordered Tom yam goong, Tom kha goong, deep fried fish, steamed lime squid. Every dish was heavenly as we dined accompanied by the sounds of cicadas and 5 of the restaurant cats! The staff were friendly as well. The place can be hard to find because Googles direction isnt correct but there is a sign on the main road turning into the small village lane. To illustrate how hidden it is, none of the tuk tuk and taxi drivers know where it is. We navigated by GPS to get there. Oh and its in the middle of a tropical jungle, so there are insects. The owners do their best with mosquito coils, but I would suggest preparing for it too.

Best restaurant we‘be been to while we were in the area for 14 days. Paradisiac atmosphere (shadow/wind/green/terrace), very friendly owners and staff, most amazing food.

AVOID IT. Used to be a great place, now is a turist scam!We live in Ao Nang and we used to go in this place at list twice a week. Last time we went with some friends who came to visit us. For Sang Som and soda, a drink that in central Ao Nang you pay maximum 70 bath (real cost 20), we were charged 150 bath. And for sure we are not in the center of the town.Never again.

Best place in the whole country! Really a hidden gem. Interesting menu ( with unusual things and tasty food, amazing view, very nice owner(her name is Ann), with fluent English! Pad thai, coconut milk soup, bbq squid were super-delicious!P.s. there is a small garden with mango, coconut, papaya, banana, pineapple trees on the territory.This is the only place with 5 out of 5 stars and it deserves 6 stars!

I was enchanted by such a grand view of the mountains in the back of the restaurant when I arrived. The owner and staff at the restaurant were warm and welcoming. I enjoyed the fresh, delicious local dishes. I came back twice and definitely will return to this restaurant in my next visit!

Oh dear! I did NOT expect a little gem of a restaurant so authentic, with such delicious food at such a good price on our first night in Krabi...Thanks to the recommendation from our Airbnb host, we rushed to this place before its closing time. The outdoor seating area is perhaps a little rustic, but every bit of decoration is designed with attention to detail - little coconut flower baskets, little wind chimes, and their own little herb garden at the front of the house. The staff were very warm and friendly.We ordered summer rolls to start, massaman curry with roti, yellow noodles with prawns, sea bass steamed with ginger, green curry, stir fried bean sprouts, and finished with mango with sticky rice (of course). Every single dish I tried was absolutely spot on! The summer rolls were fresh and herby and refreshing, a great start to the meal. The massaman curry with tofu I had was very nicely flavoured (I wish it was spicierand the roti was every bit light and crispy and flakey which also melts in your mouth. The fish was nicely flavoured and the ginger wasnt too overpowering. And finally the mango with sticky rice is, well, exactly what youd expect from a good mango and sticky rice pudding, with mango, rice and coconut flavours in perfect harmony (rice also nicely seasoned with a touch of salt which was great).An amazing meal. We all loved it (Chinese and British backgrounds with very different levels of exposure to Thai food). I know where I want to have my dinners for the rest of my stay in Krabi...EDIT: so we went back a few more times during our time in Krabi. Every time just as good. The staff are so lovely too. So sad we are not in Krabi any more.

Off beaten track a little in a beautiful setting. Great selection on menu, including good range of choice for veg/vegan. Everything we had was delicious, and staff are lovely.

Great location with great views! Just be careful to turn into the off road track only when you see the Restaurant signage by the main road - Google maps will bring you to a dirt road which leads to village houses

Nice place, traditional Thai menu.To find it first time look for a sign along the road and turn to local driveway just nearby sign. Yes this drive of concrete plates is to a cafe.))For you troubles youd dine in a tranquil place with a peaceful view on a hillside.

I highly recommend “Hello Blue Monkey” restaurant. There are choices of Thai food and western food. The food is very delicious and the price is cheap. Restaurant is located on the quiet area, surrounded by nature as you can see mountain view from the restaurant, I’m sure you definitely enjoy the scenery during your meal.
