Hello! American Diner in Lahti

Pretty decent burger place. Closer to mashed style patties although burgers resemble hightowers. Full and fried flavor on the meat. Good tasting dips too. Overall not too expensive.

Looks from a revisionist 50s and service from Finland today - but what of the burgers? I had a California and a Texas but didnt get a smile to go with it - material for a country song. In the song, Id keep coming back to how a diner should have table service, while the definition of fast food is that it doesnt. After the waitress dropped off my order (saying "Heres this"), I went looking for the promised chili and avocado gold in California. I could just see them, but Avocado is overpowered and yet the chili doesnt come through. Disappointed, I started musing about the price. For €8.50, you can get not one but two bacon burgers at Burger King. Looking for consolation, I dug down on Texas, hoping to strike oil with bacon and chipotle sauce. California left me dry, but Texas packed a juicy kick. The bacon was crunchy, the flavors more pronounced. I wasnt gushing with joy, but more than a trickle of satisfaction filled my gut. Still, since my money only got me a burger and not a drop of feel-at-home table service, shouldnt I just get a double serving of burger n naught at a quick serve?Note: my burgers were served medium without asking.

Great burgers with a bit different kind of a touch. This place is themed with 50s diners theme. Old music palying and the decorations also have the same style. Unfortunately the waiting times were a bit longish, +30 minutes. This is a great option for the Micky Ds and HBs.

Value for your money. Size of the meal is not XXL but for sure enough as a normal persons meal. Sweet potato fries are excellent and burgers have been always tasty. Decorations and style are nice.

New York Meal was excellent, however kids burger had a plain taste with a scent of cigarettes.

Interiors quite poor, didnt feel any vibes here. Meat quality mediocre, burgers small, fries bad. Overpriced menu. Children-friendly - in other words noisy place with a wc in the center on the hall. Service very friendly and fast.

Food is delicious and the design inside makes you feel like you travelled to one of those diners you see in movies. Totally recommend.

Very good Burgers! For 10€ you get a really, really good burger and french fries or sweet potato french fries. Water, of course, is for free and for 2€ you can get a softdrink flat. Also nice decorated, mostly fast service.
