I go here relatively often, and Im always impressed. They have a great $6 deal, and their pizzas are incredibly delicious. They always make sure to put a lot of toppings on, and the prices are not bad for what you get. Its a relatively informal establishment, but I think that adds to the charm. 10/10 pizza place.

Helens is my favorite local pizza place. For parties nothing will beat their 24 cut pizza.

First of all, Im not lowering my four stars, but I was confused about something and felt the need to voice it. This evening we ordered another Taco Pizza from Helens Fairground pizza, the last one we had in May 2021 was fabulous. However, although this one was a decent pizza, we noticed a difference in taste; it didnt have the taste of "taco." Yes, it had the standard toppings, beef, beans, lettuce, cheese, olives, also crunched up Dorito cheese chips and onions, I think, well, perhaps it had onions. Still, we couldnt taste them, and the taste wasnt there, so maybe it didnt. I decided to pull toppings off and pulled apart a piece of pizza and realized that the ground beef wasnt seasoned and we had no salsa; it was just a layer of refried beans!! Disappointment ensued as we were looking forward to that taco pizza.Well order it again eventually, and hopefully, it will come with the seasoned beef and salsa because that is what makes Helens fairground taco pizza stand out!"UPDATE" 5/25/21It has been a long time since I have had an incredible Taco Pizza; one way or another, something was always lacking or missing; not this afternoon, we were both dually impressed with the taste of Helenes Taco Pizza.The crust was much better than last time, not as chewy. A layer of Salsa refried bean sauce, seasoned beef, black olives, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, cheese, and top it off, crunched up nacho cheese Doritos adorned this pizza! Jazz it up with your favorite taco sauce or eat it as is; either way, you wont regret it!*FIRST REVIEW*Although this pizzeria isnt in my typical path of travel, I wanted to make an exception so we could try this place out.Unfortunately, I could not find a full-blown menu online, but we found enough information to determine that we wanted to do their daily special; Wednesday, the special included 16" two-topping pizza, breadsticks, and caesar salad.I pre-ordered Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza; again, this came with six breadsticks and a decent size caesar salad.When we arrived there, We had no idea that they had no dining in, not even before Covid, its always been takeout or delivery.We arrived a few minutes early, just as they were cutting up the pizza! The staff, which happened to be the owners son and daughter, they were prompt, friendly, and personable!There isnt much to say about the decor and such, because of the size, there really wasnt any. The storefront is small but clean, and it does the job!Now, about the meal.The pizza was impressive looking in size; no shortage of Canadian bacon and pineapple, a suitable amount of cheese; I prefer a little more sauce; next time, I will request a little more. Everything on the pizza tasted fresh! And although the crust had a nice flavor, my only qualm was the crust was a little more on the chewy side, now for that said, I ate a cold piece, and it worked out so much better, the chewiness practically disappeared.The Caesar salad, all of the greens were fresh, a little light on the parmesan cheese, tasty, crunchy croutons, and flavorful dressing, they gave me the choice of tomatoes or not, I said, why not!To me, the breadsticks are where Helenes Fairgrounds pizzeria shines, six garlic breadsticks with awesome marinara for dipping. We agreed that they beat out Olive Garden, not so much on size or texture, although there wasnt anything lacking in either, but taste! I want to taste the garlic when I order garlic breadsticks, and more times than not (pre-covid), Olive Garden would fail on that.You can find Helenes Fairgrounds Pizzeria located in the Central Park Plaza 10 Silverpine Drive, Bremerton, Washington. Fairgrounds Pizza is amazing! Ive tried a couple different kinds of there pizza but I definitely recommend the Works! Toppings are great and so is the crust (which is a rare combinationCurrently my favorite local pizza place! Staff is courteous and professional!

I ordered some pizza, sides, and drinks to have delivered to my brothers workplace (a vet clinicfor his birthday. I dont live in the area so I chose Helenes based on reviews. The person who answered the phone was great, and took his time answering my questions about which size pizza was recommended for the number of people in the clinic, etc. My brother and his colleagues really enjoyed the food. Bonus cute story: there was a puppy patient who was having a little trouble waking up from anesthesia after surgery, so they put a little pizza in front of his face and he started sniffing and blinking his eyes! So, Helenes is good for people and puppies!! Woohoo!

Best pizza around good deals on the weekend

Excellent. The 24 cut pizza easily feeds 6-8 people. I never worry when we have unexpected guests!

Been ordering from here for the past 4 years, but it wasnt until DJ hooked it up BIG time with a free soda and a complementary coupon for a future order while apologizing that it would take a little extra time on the (delicious by the way24 cut pizza, that I decided to finally leave these guys a 5 star review. Jeffery also delivered on some fun and light conversation while I waited and the experience was incredible, really enjoy when customer service is on their A-GAME!

Great pizza and reasonable prices. The “sheet pan” pizza is perfect for get togethers.

Food was okay. Ordered a 16” cheese pizza, Buffalo wings, garden salad, and breadsticks. The taste is alright - it all seemed like freezer/bulk restaurant purchase food. The breadsticks were the standout here as they were nicely cheesy and garlicky. The garden salad had Romaine lettuce, which I don’t mind, but isn’t typical of garden salad. You can get better tasting pizza and breadsticks for a lower price at Little Cesars.

They should make it easier to view their menu online but the pizza is good.

Friday night ordered large sausage pizza keep in mind 1 topping thats it! $14 on special tonight I was told, BUT not so special for a $5 delivery fee plus expecting a tip as well..WOW NOT HAPPENING. I can order from a chain store pizza place get twice the amount of pizza for $21.71. Epic fail! You should be greatful in these hard times your business isnt OUT OF BUSINESS! Guess its time to order from somone else. The pizza is Just ok they need better pizza dough. Ive had much better from Toad House, Boston Pizza, MOD pizza, for $20. Time to have some real competition on price and good pizza in Kitsap Co.

Visiting from Chicago and make it a habit to try pizza wherever I go.. this place didnt disappoint. Very good sauce, meats and crust.

Had two pizzas delivered and was enjoying their great pizza when their was a knock at the door, it was the delivery person with another pizza. She said a mistake was made and they gave us another one for free. You cant beat that for service. Best place around.

Went in and got 2 pepperoni slices, I’m from NY and this pie had everything I was looking for, perfect amount of grease from the cheese and pepperoni, but still had a thin crunchy crust!

Closest thing to NYC pizza. Nothing compares, but this gives me memories.Just ordered a large pepperoni with 1/2 black olives via DoorDash.When the DD driver went to pick up order, saw that black olives were on the whole, not half. Verified receipt, and it stated on half.The DD driver contacted me letting me know the order was wrong, and LITERALLY the pizza place would not make a new order, even citing they made it wrong.Helenes REFUSED to make the correct order without a new purchase, which is something DoorDash cannot do unless out of the drivers own pocket over $20.So this is a horrible review for you, Helene:You chose to not correct an error for both YOUR Vendor-Partner, and me: the consumer.Marissa, the DoorDash driver tried everything in her power to correct. With Helenes Pizza unwilling to fix their error, I let her know to deliver the pizza, so I would not cost her more jobs/deliveries.She came with the pizza, was apologetic, and I tipped her $20 because of you. Yes you. That could have been a tip for your employees.Called DoorDash, and they credited my order. Thank you, DoorDash for taking care of an issue so quickly.Thank you Marissa, the DoorDash driver for trying to fix the situation.Shame on Helenes Pizza. Shame.Shame. Shame.

I ordered a 16” veggie lovers pizza with Alfredo sauce and added pineapple. Cook time was 15 mins but it was more like 10mins till I got it. Which It should have been 15-20mins to cook, I took the pizza and looked at it and it looks amazing! But the pizza want fully cooked all the way though

Pepperoni pizza with Alfredo sauce was pretty good. Took a little over a half hour for her to make a med pie & a calzone tho. 😒

24-cut pepperoni tastes just like the pizza I had at Wren Avenue Elementary School in Concord, California back in the Dark Ages! Super cool people there too!

We used to live down the road, and patron frequently, but since moved to Port Orchard. Weve been missing Helenes since then. Finally had enough of the local fair and decided it was worth the drive for good pizza!

I have been going here before the management changed and it only keeps getting better. DJ and the new staff take their Careers seriously and it shows with the quality of service.

Tried this place for the first time. Taco pizza was ok but nothing special,lite on the meat. Will have to try a different pizza in the future

I have ordered this pizza for many years. Its always consistent, reliable and disappears fast! My favorite is the 24 cut for my big family. Nice big squares and the balance of ingredients are spot on! They deliver and also offer other food items such as subs.

Great New York style "cardboard" pizza. Their crust is amazing, and the pizza is delicious! The pricing is great, especially the special (2 slices and a soda for $5), and the staff is always friendly! Best pizza of that style in Kitsap!

Not the best pizza Ive had, but definitely the best pizza in Kitsap Ive found. Not a fan of there cheese bread though. We get it once a week on cheat meal day. One large pizza for me. One large pizza for the lady. Love the look on peoples faces when I get their giant pizza.

Had the works pizza and some garlic wings. Toppings were over flowing. Crust was everything a pizza crust should be. Sauce could use a little something. Wings were ehhh.

I love pizza places that serve by the slice...also to be called fairgrounds pizza, I mean thats pizza of kitsap county, I was skeptical but there pizza Is damb good, perfect crust. Go kitsap pizza go, they know me now from frequent visits...lol

Great pizzas & friendly service -- everything you could ever wish for in a local, family-owned/operated restaurant. My wife and I have enjoyed their pizzas at least a dozen times over last few months -- recommend every style weve tried.

This pizzeria was, and still is amazing. If anything they got better over the time. I have been a long time customer of this pizzeria, and even now they still never cease to to impress. Despite the reviews here saying that these guys suck, they are 2 months old and the establishment has not been open for more than a month. I promise you, if you eat here, you will not be sorry. Excellent service, pizza and people! 3 stars!
