Heidrick Ag History Museum - Museum in Dixon, United States
Really interesting museum full of tractors and other farm equipment.
Make sure to talk with the volunteers. They have a way of putting all the machines and the history of agriculture into prospective.
Just a great experience
Lots of stuff to look at
Nice people, museum a bit toasty
If its old ag equipment in great shape they have it! Its inside too.
Great place to see how the old fathers work with rough equipment. Take the kids and popcorns free.
This is a great place to see old farm tractors and farm equipment. Large restored collection nicely displayed indoors.
We went there as part of free museum day. Great display of tractors and the scavenger hunt made it fun for my son.
Thanks to all the farmers .we enjoyed our self.and would most definitely come again
Very cool and interesting. They also had free popcorn, coffee and cotton candy on Free Museum Day.
A really neat museum with lots and lots of tractors and related machinery. Its nice on Free Museum Day as they have extras (like running motors out front, cotton candy, and popcornbut isnt super busy still. I wish it had more exhibits/information about crops grown in California and how early farmers grew crops without a lot of machinery. But it has a ton of cool tractors.
Kid friendly. Lots of space to run around. Play farm and tractors to ride. Good way to kill a few hours out of the weather.
Great spot for kids. Gets hot in the summer, so go early.
I miss this place. Im going back
Awesome 👍
Every conceivable type of tractor and many harvesters can be found here dating back to the early 1900s. Good displays explaining early farming. Very informal atmosphere.
Fun times
If your kid likes tractors visit this AG Museum. They have a lot of neat old machines.
Me encantó
Wess our tour guro was the best. Highly recommended you stop to enjoy some history
Awesome collection of antique tractors
What a place! Step back in history, blacksmiths shoppe, first tractors, harvestors, free popcorn and little tractors for the kids, even a pink one!
Hidden gem. Very nice collection of vintage tractors, garden machinery, horse drawn tractors. Kid friendly play area for children. Photo opportunities at every location. A must see collection set inside a climate controlled environment.
Loved all the historical machinery.
Wonderful local museum with great collection of especially early caterpillar tractors.
Theres so much I didnt know about tractors. I learned a lot and it was neat to see the changes of technology over time, as well as the changes in business and agriculture industry.
Very nice collection of vintage agricultural equipment. Volunteer named Wes had a lot of great info on all of the machines. Was better than expected, enjoyed the experience.
Great place
Very nice displays of antique tractors and combines, separators, harvesters and binders. There are at least 4 well restored 1910s era early wheat combines that should be seen by all.
Unbelievably interesting this will take you back in time to pre-World War 1
Great museum, very worthwhile, educational.
Fun
Interesting.
Massive collection of antique farm equipment. Good selection of kids toys in play area. I think there is some lost opportunity here. For an agriculture history museum, there wasnt a lot accessible for teaching my daughter about what agriculture is and how its done. It was just a little better than a labeled warehouse of machines.
Get display and information. People very friendly. Will recommend to others.
