Hei Hing - Cafe in Isleworth, United Kingdom
Beautiful food. Really helpful and friendly staff. Visited Friday 18th November and we have already booked in for our next visit 26th. Staff seemed so happy and like they loved being there. Highly highly recommend the Korean chicken bites and the Beef Hor Fun.
Chicken katsu had me seeing the doctors don’t recommend go to golden jade next door it’s banging! Hei hing in the bin
Very good food. Reasonable prices and quantity is good portions. Only thing is its a tiny place
The food is amazing, always very tasty and lunchtime menu changes throughout the week to give lots of variety.Great service and friendly staff that take the time to get to know your name once you’re a “regular”…after one visit you will be coming back time and time again! Portion sizes are very good too, and reasonable priced.
Been once before and this experience was the opposite, almost felt like new owners. They rushed us to order, waitress was abit abrupt and the food wasnt anything like the first time I came a few months ago.Dont think I will be back
Hei Hing is absolutely fantastic. This is a family run business which provides outstanding service and delicious food in Isleworth. My friend (who has been here many times and "loves itand I really enjoyed the entire dining experience. I noticed other customers were very friendly with the owners and the staff - and it felt like a true neighbourhood restaurant where people enjoy themselves. As an expat living in the UK, I think the food is better here [at Hei Hing] than any I had in either New York City or Washington DCs Chinatown. Highly recommend this quaint good vibe eatery.
Usually very happy with this place. Food can be better on some days than others, but generally you will not be disappointed. However, just ordered my usual and was given food with egg in it. Even though I am allergic to egg and vegan. I was told it was my mistake and they offered to only replace the noodles and not the vegetables. Because when you are allergic to egg, that would work!? Not what I would expect from any establishment. Especially since I am a long standing customer. Unbelievably disappointed.
Excellent Chinese Restaurant in Iselworth! Amazing food, great service. Will definitely visit again.
Impressive, tasty and fresh... Stringly recommended
Great tasting food. Had the lunch menu. Good value. Bubble teas also Great.
Good food and great service. A small restaurant but very busy and booked out on a Friday evening. They have a great selection of East. Asian food.
Omg the food is unreal and so authentic! Love it! The service is so good too. Defo a take away regular as well as a sit down meal
The food itself is fine but the place is very rarely open. They always seem to be on holiday. This is the problem with these small, independent businesses. Were encouraged to support them, yet they are very unreliable as a whole. Id much rather see large chains move in instead. At least they are open when you need them. The Co-Op on South Street being a prime example.
The food is amazing and truly authentic food, one of the very few in London! Highly recommended!
The most amazing food ever, the food has been made with love, good quality ingredients, generous portions and a warm service. I wish I had discovered you sooner, a hidden gem 🫶🏼🙏🏽🌷🍻💎
Lovely little restaurant and delicious meals and a good variety of vegan options, highly recommend it!
A small (25 covers I countedfamily run eating place with a fine range of noodle, rice and other dishes. The portion size appeared slightly smaller than pre pandemic but the quality was good. Service was swift and attentive. They were doing a brisk business in takeaways when I was there and being a small place it is noticeable with people frequently in and out.
The food was very lovely & I would go there again
Nice friendly service and nice food.Different to the typical oriental restaurant.
Fantastic food and excellent service! We visited with my family from Richmond and all of us were so pleased! Thank you, we will be back soon!
Fantastic open house atmosphere, food all fresh and no scrimping on ingredients. We really enjoyed it.
Food was great (quality was comparable to what youd expect in a restaurantand arrived on time.
Absolutely lovely place! Amazing food and really nice people. Very small but it makes it only more cosy and special. Never disappointed! Can’t wait for reopening!
Absolutely delicious every time...been eating here for many years and loving all of it. Not being in the restaurant to eat is unfortunate cause its always a lovely atmosphere, however every time we have takeaway, its always generous amounts, always hot, and proper luscious flavours.Hei Hing, top marks.
Amazing food, every time with friendly staff. We used to come here pre COVID and enjoyed the cosy relaxed atmosphere as well as loving the food. Now we still love the food but it gets delivered to us instead! 😀
Love love Hei Hing! Thank you Moni for always making the most delicious food, and always being so friendly. Forget Wagamama’s, give Hei Hing a try, you won’t ever go back!
Fresh fresh super fresh ingredients. Wow. Had sweet a sour chicken was fantastic. Very friendly service and every extremely clean will be going back again soon. Girl friend had the chicken wings starter.... still talking about it a week later Lol.
Great little noodle cafe in Isleworth. Good service, delicious food - Thai cuisine mainly but Katsu curry etc too. Prices on the cheeky side but worth it as an experience. Licensed now. Very popular so book before you go. Would make a fortune if it wasnt in somewhat anonymous Isleworth.
I have eaten here many times. The food is wonderful and very reasonably priced. There is a good range of delicious vegetarian/vegan food and the staff are happy to take requests for adaptations to suit the customers such as less spicy etc. The staff are friendly and they provide great service. The atmosphere is friendly, relaxed and welcoming. Highly recommended :-)
Visited for first time yesterday. A simple cafe with delicious food.Good choices on menu. Huge portions and such good value. Will be returning!
Really tasty food every single time ❤️ lovely people and nice atmosphere too. Highly recommended (Id love if they offered soft tofu dishes though!)
Very tasty local oriental place. Great service and great food. Make sure you book as it gets busy on the weekend.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Restaurant is very cosy and clean. Food is good. Large portions so you will not leave hungry! What I am missing in here is authentic recipes with only traditionally accepted ingredients rather modern interpretation of them.
Well everyone was right the crispy duck was gorgeous. The rest was also very tasty too, not the typical Chinese menu choices but its lovely and plenty of it.
- great food- generous portion sizes- excellent service- tried many of the starters, all were delicious- will definitely return again
This is a wonderful place to eat. The food is always exceptional and the price is very very reasonable. It is a small place and has a really welcoming intimate feel to the place. Booking is a good idea as its a popular place. They also do take away.
Went on a Saturday evening. You need to book, it was very busy. All tables full and people even queueing to place takeaway orders! Authentic dishes, very friendly, good value.
Rushed, cheap, cold and cramped. Few good items on menu but the service is little better than a McDonalds. Overall leaves you with the same feeling as visiting the dentist
More atmosphere in a funeral parlour than by the staff or owners. I will not be eating here ever again. On hindsight I should have bought a takeaway three doors down. Shame I had to give 1 star.
Had a great lunch here. Very tasty food.Friendly service and the owners made me feel very welcome. I intend to go back again. 😊
🤢NO-GO!They don’t know how to cook.I was looking forward to a nice green Thai curry (which is quite frankly a simple curry)and pad Thai noodle dishes. What I got instead was a disgusting watery broth with raw vegetables and even more disappointment. It does surprise me to see this place dishing out substandard food for quite competitive prices. This is one place, I will recommend not to visit.
Finally got to have a meal in this small, popular cafe/restaurant which offers Thai, Malaysian, Japanese & Chinese (crispy duck). A careful selection of dishes on the menu but enough for a good choice. Everything is under £10, really good value and you get a bowful, which was too much for each of the four of us. Advise booking in advance.
The taste of the food was absolutely amazing. The presentation is exceptional. As well as the speed of the service.Lovely staff, I would love to come back with my friends and family.
A fantastic little Chinese restaurant in Isleworth. The staff are friendly and service is quick. The food was tasty and reasonably priced, well worth dropping in for lunch. The only shortcoming is that for lunch there only three dishes to choose fron.
Its a good sign that this place is often busy so its wise to book a table in advance. The owners are sociable and attentive; for this irregular customer theres always a nice welcome back whenever I show my face. The food here is excellent, Asian fusion, sort of wagamamma style. Its informal, unfussy and very very tasty, without over-indulging the budget. Hei Hing will always be my first choice for eats whenever I have friends to stay but am too lazy to cook.I dont rate a place 5 stars often but for quality service and value, they can all be found here!Pól
Very good cafe and great value for money. Nothing fancy here just really fast and tasty and filling food. Been here twice now, once for dinner once for lunch. The dinner has many options. Lunch is limited with only a couple options. But would recommend anyone who wants to go out for a filling and casual quick dinner. The Beijing duck and the beef black bean ho fun are the dishes I recommend.
Food was outstanding! Definitely book a table though.Edited: Just went for my second trip here and it was just as good as the first time! My new favourite place! Great service and amazing food! So fresh and delicious! Great menu options. I didnt see anything on the menu that I wouldnt order..everything looked appealing :)
Family owned. Excellent food. Tastes like the food the owners would eat at home daily. Food is not greasy. Made from fresh, good quality ingredients. The service is excellent. The owners are on the premises, cooking and serving. Keeping an eye on the customer experience. Very local, neighbourhood vibe.
We feel incredibly lucky to have Hei Hing 15mins away from our house, without a doubt our favourite local restaurant and takeaway. The food is exceptional, freshest ingredients, flavourful sauces it is definitely not like other restaurants and takeaways, no gloopy MSG sauces, the food tastes authentic and the sauces homemade. The owners and staff are reallynlovely people, we think Hei Hing is a credit to Isleworth and South St. If youre reading this review and thinking about going, then lucky you, if you go I can assure you that you wont regret it.
My favourite eating place, but unfortunately now has an alcohol licence . Lovely food , great friendly staff. The introduction of the licence means no choice of wines, and no Ale only Lager. Sorry Hei Hing I would have gladly pain more for corkage. going to miss our visits.
