Heathdale Glen Orden Wetlands - Park and Garden in Melton, Australia
Heathdale Glen Orden Wetlands in Melton
Description
Privilege
Nice to explore
Nice big park, good for a bike ride, interconnects other parks and bike paths along local waterways, you will need to cross some main roads for that. While natural, it does lack gardens which could be a nice addition as there is plenty of land.
MoreNo proper set up for kids to play ,no toilets
Great for a walk
Pretty nice area
She said it its boring
Easy casual walk, lots of water in the marshy area. Play ground equipment, fitness stations, BBQ area with tables.

One of the best parks in the vicinity. Caters to people who want to walk, jog, cycle or just loiter around. It has an oval, a BMX track, cycling trails, walking trails, wetlands and the lot. Must visit
MoreTook my grandbabies to this secluded absolutely beautiful quiet place .as you enter its like your walking into danger as it is a swamp erea you can not see the duck part over the concreat walk bridge and youll find on the rosella side towards the football oval day care center library and a civic center now after coming out of the duck walk brindge behind the gates youll find a helicopter park playground with slide .climbing road large ship for ages 10to 12 yrs and then they also have a rock climbing wall on the other hellicopter and a small seating area underneath it then this pack offers much more such as a merry go round seasaw sandpit n it also has bbq erea with tables chair seating . We enjoyed our day out n my grandbabies 1 age 5 and the other age 3 alwaz asking can we go to the pack with the ducks n hellicopter
MoreThe number 2 oval is an ok standard surface.
This is a nice place to visit great place if you like walking tracks
Nice area for a walk. A few playgrounds, undercover areas and seats along the way. A duck pond. An oval. Nice little space for different occasions. Its nice to have these little areas, instead of just houses. Makes walks around the area more pleasant. My friends kids seemed to like the little parks along the way to.The recent overflow of the pond because of the heavy rains didnt seem to do much damage either.
MorePretty baron, but did the job for the little ones.
Don’t forget to visit this place. A perfect place to do the weekend activities with the family
MoreA bicycle seat floating in the water. Sadly people throw their rubbish here.
Lovely place to walk and observe various birds.
Native ducks , plus a lonely white pet duck that has been released there,a small playground, but in the middle is a free electric barbecue and table ,chairs, so is quite complete, especially if U live around there.
MoreGood place to.walk the dogs got a little lake walk over the bridge and observe the local wildlife also a couple of little play areas for the kiddies. For fit people not a bad spot to go for a walk/run through with some warm up / exercise equipment throughout .
MoreBeautiful although I was saddened to see litter around the wetlands. Humans are real j*rks sometimes. No respect whatsoever for the wild life/community 😔
MoreGreat place to take a walk.
This is a lovely place to walk and exercise ☺️. Dogs are allowed on the leash. The track has a loop a long and a short loop with exercise stations around it, and their is a wetland section with ducks and swans at this time of year. Has two little parks for the kids with a few BBQs as well.
MoreBeautiful, people need to be a little.mpre thoughtful by shutting the gates that close of the ducks and birds and keep them safe from any predators such as dogs and other animals. Also putting rubbish in bins provided is not hard. Other than that a lovely place for the kids to use the playgrounds or just a nice walk
MoreVery relaxing place to walk. My son loves visiting to see the ducks and swans.
It was beautiful. Great to see the wildlife coming back to the area.
Love this Park,, good for walks with your Pets and Awesome in the Morning ,, hardly anybody around
MoreGreat walk through wetlands. Kids or adults can stop & feed the ducks & check out the baby signets as well as other wildlife. Just need to be wary of snakes in the area.
MoreA lovely place for the children to explore while I get some exercise.
Real nature is here, air is clean, if you have time to visit this definitely.
Nice place for a stroll.
A little pocket in a suburb - didnt know it was there. Nice tranquil location used by cyclists - wetlands fenced off to dogs!
MoreNeeding so he serious thought from the WCC on the commonly flooded pathways!!! These are enormously frustrating and could be a relatively easy fix. Litter collection in the waterway would really lift the wetland and improve it for the wildlife!
MorePeaceful and quiet walking area. Winding pathway is relaxing place to be.
Iconic birdcage landmark, drunk night walks to the playgrounds is the best night out you can imagine.
MoreJust discover this place on my morning walk. Love the place with amazing clean and fresh air.
MorePerfect for bicycle riders .... awsome track. My kids loved it. Not hard one fit for 5 and over kids... get ur gear . Its free for public after club training hours
MoreThis is real Australian Bush in the heart of the suburbs. Dry, scrubby with a serous wetland area. Great for dogs to chase a ball. Paths through the area ensure safety for young bikers.
MoreA good place for an afternoon walk, but it could use some maintenance by the council. Lights along the footpath would be great.
MoreWas a waste of time walking all way to this place from Werribee railway station and disappointed. Might be enjoyable in the evening.
MoreCant see water areas as much... need to clean the area where there is water... need city council attention to make it look attractive... need more maintenance...
MorePitches are in excellent condition. Reserve has barbecue and playground.
Its a good place to take the kids plus your dog if you have one. Work out equipment is really cool and they are placed all over the wetlands
MoreNice place for a walk. Park with playground and other facilities. Great for walking dogs too.Has been around for many years, and occasionally gets done up a bit better each time. 😊
MoreThis place is a great place to photograph (during the golden hour especiallyand play, birds love to stay around these areas and the water is very nice and beautiful!
MoreIsnt really anything special there, just a few schools and ponds. Would not recommend unless you live close and enjoy walks
MoreA little bit of nature in the middle of Wyndham. Peaceful and quiet, with good walking and cycling trails, sporting grounds and a nature walk to watch the birds in a natural setting. Go to re-energise!
MoreA nice place to visit, have bbq facility available in the park. For children there are couple of playgrounds and a small pound where you can see ducks and black swan.
