This is an excellent place to visit, fascinating history with two really enthusiastic owners. The railway memorabilia and the model railways are worth the trip by themselves and sure you might as well have a haircut while youre there.

Lovely museum attached to the barber shop. Great tour guide. So enthusiastic and knowledgeable and made such a fuss of my Mum when she said her Dad was the stationmaster in maguiresbridge in the 40s, which made her day!

Fajne miejsce. Dwóch starszych panów z ulotki. Trzeba do nich podejść. Zwłaszcza jak się jest obcokrajowcem. Jest to możliwe. Znają historię, Bitwa o Anglię zawsze na propsie. Choć ja zacząłem z innej beczki, ale też o hunach. ps. można tam zrobić ciekawe zdjęcia.

This is a railway musem (no trainsand barbers all in one. You dont have to get a haircut to visit the railway museum. (Same place as the barbers and a back roomIts not far from the town centre but it only has a doorway from the street that leads you down a entry to a building at the rear then you have a flight of stairs so would not be suitable for disable or familys with push chairs. Its like no other barbers inside. Its only £6 for a proper hair cut done by one of 2 gentle men barbers. Best take a look at the pictures to get a idea of it. They have a wee box for donation for the upkeep for the museum, but its vollentery.

We stopped in here, checked out the fascinating collection of rail memorabilia, and got trimmed up too. The owners are very friendly and more than happy to show you around and answer questions. Plus theyre good barbers.

What an unusual place!! Worth a visit - the owners are so friendly - you can explore all the collection - no need for a haircut, but what a different place to have a quick cut :-If you are in any way interested in trains or history of transport/the local area - a must see!!
