Staff service at top notch, and a fine water front dine will steal your hearts. And they have a club at the 1st floor. so it may help you for conduct a small party as well.

Sat just a 10 minute walk from the Grand Excesoir, and easy to get to, this is a small and intimate restaurant. Excellent menu with enough choice to satisfy all guests. Best of all is being seated overlooking the sea. Fish or pasta based meals seem to be the big sellers. We had both variations over a couple of days, and delicious they were. Reasonable prices too. Whats not to like!

Beautiful food, ambience and scenery. Ruth was an amazing hostess and made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much for her and we were so impressed with the service she gave us.

Wonderful view, the cooking is splendid, the staff is generous and caring! Definitely recommend if you plan to have dinner in Valetta.

The views are enough to lure you in, stunning!! but unfortunately I was extremely dissapointed when we went for a work lunch. the chicken risotto was tasteless. As for the meat I asked for MR for my tagliata but received semeones elses dish,i spoke up to ask if it was mone and they assured me it was. I could tell there was a mixup but it was too late by then. I didnt mind that it was WD but the fact that it was extremely chewy my jaw was overworked... I could not swallow it and had to leave it a side and fill up on potatoes and mixed veg. I made a comment at the end when the plates where picked up but did not receive any form of compensation.Paid way too much for nothing special!

Very satisfied that I chose Haywharf to do my party. Special thanks goes to the chef Chris. Everything was delicious from start to finish. Great atmosphere and great staff and perfect location with ample street parking available.

This is one of the best restaurants my wife and I visited in Malta, the food was amazing and the staff was even more, big thanks to all the staff for making us feel like home and especially to Svetlana for being the best host we ever met.

Nice place to chill and have a drink. However, food did take really long, probably because we were a large group. It is on the expensive side however, the view is exceptional.

Food was delicious, the view spectacular but we happened to have chosen the wrong date for a Sunday lunch.The place was overcrowded with boyscouts and their families so we couldnt chat due to the big din !!The service was quick and polite .Will certainly return when we come back to Malta....

A nice location with scenic views back over to Sliema waterfront. Good options on the menu plus daily specials, as a group of 5 we all had different dishes and everyone was pleased with their meal and the service.However, going for a Sunday lunch may not be the best choice, maybe we were just unlucky with timings, but way too many screaming kids running around whose parents obviously either didn’t care or were too engrossed in shouting at each other trying to be heard to notice.There is a private area upstairs, available to hire, with a terrace too, definitely the best option for a larger group or a function.Wine menu had plenty of options.Total bill for 5 came to €250, good value for the food and 3 accompanying bottles of wine / Prosecco.Will definitely try the place again for an evening meal.

We booked to eat here after reading the reviews. We were a little disappointed with the ambience. The view over the harbour is nice but inside the restaurant is more of a boat club place and is a little shabby and basic. Food was ok. Wine ok too. It looked like it could be a lovely place if it was given some TLC. I know we wouldnt go back unfortunately 😔

Very good experience. The only disadvantage is that they are not dog friendly.

If I was only commenting on the food and service, I would give the place 5 stars. However the whole atmosphere of the restaurant (design, music and the lightingis a major disappointment. This place could be become a knockout!!

The service was so friendly, from the lovely woman on the lower level who greeted us, to the bar man upstairs, who was just amazing. For a party of 20-ish, he single handedly took care of drinks, eats, and special foods for vegan and Gluten free. Perfect holiday get together in a beautiful environment.

Will be our wedding venue in 6 months time, attended today as a surprise party for my fiances birthday. Service and food was flawless and the venue itself is beautiful, especially the views.

Very good food!

We went to the restaurant after reading many good reviews, and seeing the enchanting photos. Unfortunately, the reality disappoints.The evening started peacefully, with a very nice waitress welcoming us and helping with some reservation issues. We decided to go upstairs for a better view, and ordered soft drinks, and satay chicken skewers to get an initial impression of the menu. The view was nice as expected, but as soon as we tasted the food, its power faded. Everything we got was a disaster; the skewers were covered in flour and gave a weird, stale impression, and the peanut sauce was overly dense, greasy and tasted like a curry after one too many days in the fridge. The rice under the skewers was greasy as well, and didnt have any spices, and was mixed with pieces of fresh and grilled onions. The soft drink we ordered was extremely sweet and tasted synthetic. We left after 30 minutes, leaving the bigger part of the food untouched.To summarize, we counted for a fantastic dinner, and ended up drinking herbal tea at our apartment to soothe our stomachs. However, we are hoping to be open and brave enough to give it another chance when we visit Malta in the future.

Excellent service and sublime food!! Great specials of the day. Pity we couldnt be given a table near the window as there is a spectacular view. Definitely a must go.

Exquisite food and marvelous view from the dining table

Had our 34th wedding anniversary and me and my wife enjoyed a very pleasant evening at this restaurant. This time it was on the terrace at the Clubhouse. The view spectacular especially the sunset over Marsamxetto Harbour. The food was very well served and enjoyed it thoroughly. Great service and great food. Highly recommended....

Wonderful dining experience with tasty cocktails, delicious dinner and friendly staff.Found this place by accident as we are staying at the hotel next to it. You wouldnt have found this gem if you dont know where to look for it.Food portion is very very generous. Rib eye steak serve at 350g. The chicken I ordered was yummy. It doesnt look much on a big plate but believe me, you dont need dessert afterwards. It comes with either chips or roast potatoes plus salad or vegetables.Special shout out for Ruth and her colleague. Great service!I would like to see the lighting of it to be a bit dimmer as it will create better ambient and helps the gorgeous view outside when its dark.

Ignored this early in the holiday. What a mistake. Great service and food. Portions on the large side for the platter and the chicken ceaser and lamb special. Maybe suggest just main or two starters. Popular with the locals so booking recommended.
