Haven Burgers in Mesa

I ordered California fries. They were ok but Ive had better. The service was nice and the prices are reasonable.

Great California style, what we used to call grease joint burgers and fries. Get the pastrami and patty melt when you can, and dont miss the fried zucchini. They have that good ranch

We have been going to Haven Burgers since they opened! This is the closest thing to California food that we can get without going to California. The owner, his family and staff are and have always been wonderful whenever we go there to eat! Their hamburger/cheeseburger special and their Haven(its a pastrami burger/pastrami cheeseburgerspecial is what we always get. Their fries are so good! They have amazing onion rings and fries zucchini(my favorite)!!If you are looking for a good burger you have to try this place!

Got the Haven burger cause who doesnt like pastrami on their burger, so good. The fried zucchini was on point and a very generous portion. Would definitely eat here again.

Cashier was lazy and rude , the food was cold for just being made the rice was undercooked and beans were cold and flavorless and you could tell they came out a can .definetly not worth the 35 dollars i spend there . Will never go back again dont recommend.

Not as good as I heard it was. Definitely not as good as hole in the wall spots in L.A. Burger was avaerage and so was pastrami sandwich. The sauce on the burger was sweeter then tangy. Breakfast might be a better option. Hard to mess that up.

Went in to try this place since I heard it’s close to CA charbroiled burger joints from back home. I had the chicken salad, the chicken was very well seasoned and not dry. I just wish the salad was not wet, I appreciate they make sure to clean the lettuce. The zucchini are just like the ones they make back in CA, really delicious and crispy. Service was not that great, I thanked the guy behind the counter as I was leaving, they didn’t even bother to look up at me they were just staring at their phone. All in all food is ok, I would just take it to go next time.

Its ok! Im from Cali and this burger does not make me miss the great food back in California. The food was not bad but I really didnt take any charbroiled flavor on the burger.

Great burgers! Very tasty & a wide variety of choices of burgers. Fries were well cooked & salted just right. Had extra flavors you could add to your pop. Owner/manager was very friendly & made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend you try this place.

First time at this place and found out the boss is Greek! 🥰♥️ Everyone was so nice, the bathroom was super clean and my food was amazing!! The vibes of this place were great too! I can see why my husband comes here all the time!.. I love the Greek culture!! So respectful and hard working!!

We Googled best burgers and it took us to this joint. The customer service was nice and the food was SMACKIN!!! We would highly recommend this place ..we ate on the patio it was hot but cool at the same time we enjoyed our visit

If you want to go to someplace that has the most mouthwatering pastrami burgers around go to this place! The Haven burgers are delicious, the fries are tasty and the manager and staff there are the best! Quick smiles and service! I can’t say enough about this place and the abundance of goodwill and cheer from those that work here! The food is a smorgasbord of tastiness! A must try! I always go back for more and tell all my friends!

Nice little mom and pop place for a tasty burger. They messed up my order, I had ordered a chili burger but got a regular burger, and I was pleasantly surprised. The sauce they put on it makes it taste like a really good Big Mac, without the frozen meat and the heat lamps. I enjoyed the meal and so did my son. I would certainly stop by again if in the area.

Food was delicious. Kudos to the chef & rest of the staff. However, humanity-wise the manager/owner sucked. I stood in line on a 97° day and watched as a homeless man asked an employee for a cup of ice & water. As the employee was about to service this man the manager/owner stopped him and denied the homeless man water. I will never give this restaurant any more of my business after that.Re: owners response.I did look. And your account is not accurate. After you denied this man water I took it upon myself to chase this man down half a block on foot & offer him my cup of ice which I purchased at your store. The man he was with when he was at your store was by himself. I watched him too.

I had the Haven Burger (Pastramicombo and it was delicious 😋 Friendly staff and my food was delivered to my table.One of the staff also checked in with me to make sure that I had a delicious experience.If only I lived in Mesa, Arizona… I would be a regular at this establishment.

This was my first visit and it was excellent. We happened to be in the area so we stopped in and got some burgers and while waiting for our food, we saw the owner talking and interacting with almost every customer who came in. Very friendly staff and the food was ready pretty quick and was very tasty! Will definitely be stopping in again if Im ever on this side of town!

As someone who was raised in Cali and grew up on Cali burgers, these do not disappoint. Everything they make here is great including the pastrami! Love their french toast and chili cheese fries as well. The customer service is outstanding, plenty of tables, always clean with a great location...a Haven indeed.

An anytime spot from morning to night. I went for lunch though. California burger didnt disappoint. Fresh meat grilled right in front of you no frozen here guys. Also the best pastrami in town according to the old man who knows his pastrami. 🤌 Ill be back soon! Nice job🍽

This was a unique Burger experience! Their signature sandwich the Haven Burger was amazing. I would never have dreamt of putting pastrami on a Burger but it goes together so well. During the lunch hour they are cooking so many burgers that the flames rise high and bright and exciting on the grill.This place LOVES the Rams football team. I would call this place deffinently a guy haven hangout place.

This is the best burger Ive had in Phx so far. They also the best zucchini sticks. Big, crisp, and come with a really good ranch. Also, best pastrami Ive had in phoenix. Flavorful, its thin shaved, its piled high. The atmosphere is humble, the service is fast, the prices are good. The owner is always there working and is very personable. I direct people here whenever burgers or pastrami come up! Long may you live Haven Burgers!

Fast and good for the price. Had the California Burger, cooked perfectly, fries were crisp and hot, and soda machine has flavors to add to drinks! Walking distance from light rail and Mesa Temple complex.

You wanna know something, I really enjoyed myself and the food that was prepared, loved the Haven burger with pastrami! Great taste, fantastic service and an overall pleasant experience! I think the thing I love the most is this is a family owned and operated business, I’m happy to support our local entrepreneurs over the corporate business any day! My kids are really picky and they said they want it every night😆🤣.Thank you Antonio’s! Reasonably priced burgers- come hungry because they are bigger than your average cheeseburger. We had the Haven Burger which comes with pastrami and a Double Cheeseburger. The food was made to order and it wasnt too busy on a Wednesday night. The fries were just okay, but thats a personal preference. Were looking forward to trying the breakfast sandwiches next time.

It was very great smelling coming in the door!! First time here and the service was wonderful. We ended up order just three meals because we split one for the kids, and the very sweet man behind the counter gave us two cups instead of one lg so the kids wouldn’t fight and even had them split their burger to make it easy! Super friendly atmosphere and very family friendly!!! I got the tuna melt and it was delicious!! The boyfriend got their haven burger and says he’ll never have another burger the same! Thank you !!!Definitely worth the drive, we live in Glendale!

The burger was good; thats all you really have to read into this.I have had much better burgers, for the same cost; but Ive also had worse burgers for more. As far as the actual meat goes, its seasoned well, and theres a good amount of it. I got the double bacon cheeseburger. I would really compare the flavor to In-N-Out. They gave the correct amount of meat, cheese, and veggies, when compared to the price. So, in that respect, they get 4 stars for the quantity.I would have liked to see paper-thin cut onions on the burger; that would have complimented the burger very well. I liked the amount and the flavor of the spread they used. I took away a full star for the fries, unfortunately. The fries are thick like Burger King, but are totally unsalted, and unseasoned. I really did not like them. The burger is definitely the saving grace. I am aware that they have a wide array of other foods they serve, including breakfast. However, "burger" is in the name, so that is how Im basing the rating. I also respect the fact that theyre a smaller mom and pop type shop. I believe they should reduce the extensive-ness of their menu, and focus more on the items that draw more customers.

We tried this place last week and have gone several times since then! They have been consistent with the quality. The staff is great. The burgers are charbroiled to perfection. Their prices are hard to beat for the size. We tried the cheeseburger, avocado burger, and the California burger. Our favorites are the classics- the cheeseburger and avocado burger. Looking forward to going again whenever we get a craving for Haven burger!

Kinda whatever.Stopped in because I saw they had “Club Sandwiches” on the menu. I don’t think they know what a club sandwich is because this sandwich didn’t have cheese. I also asked how big the portion of fries were because I wanted to share between two people and they said it was “big enough.” NOT EVEN. The fries came inside a huge bag but there were barely any. There was more ketchup in the bag than fries, if anything.I was hoping that this would be a place I could add to my lunch rotation but it’s not looking like it.👎👎

Love this place! The Pastrami Sandwich reminds me of home. The ONLY place to get a nice hot pastrami outside of southern California. Trust me NO ONE Outside of this place and some in SoCal make them like this. Also the Breakfast and coffee we Just Great! Always come here when Im in Town!

My girlfriend and I had "Haven Burgers" (1/3 pound burger with pastrami, lettuce, tomato, onion and mustardand "California Fries" (fries with chili and pastrami). The restaurant Is a simple, clean burger joint with delicious food! The burgers and fries were excellent!!! They have season salt on the tables. I definitely recommend this place. They serve breakfast too! My family and I will be back! We met the owner, very friendly and helpful!

Oh My!! This place is absolutely amazing! I love pastrami and the Haven Burger has it jammd packed! Juicy delicious pastrami layered with all the hamburger goodness! This is my first time and Ill definitely be back. So many more to try!

A Co worker and I ate here lunch. My coworker spoke extremely high of this place and I have to agree with him. From the customer service at the front of house to watching the grill cook my food was all in all a great experience. The grill guy kept his grill very clean so every burger he made was on a fresh clean grill. The zucchini frys were amazing! And the Haven burger I got was fantastic. Overall, I highly recommend this place for friends and family to get a great bite to eat.

This place is "de toda aquella." We sat outside on a rustic bench next to Pioneer Park. Great view. So much delicious cheese that it melts off to the sides. Mmmm. Just good burgers. No silliness.

This restaurant fills the ever important niche of the pastrami craving. It fills it and my stomach perfectly every time. Ive come here several times and Ive enjoyed it every time. Its one of the best burger places in town.
