Haus Of Poké - Hawaiian restaurant in Rancho Mirage, United States
Good and yummy poke. Friendly staff. They were out of napkins!??... Cmon, run to the grocery store and make it work, ppl.
Awesome food, fast and courteous service service was 10 out of 10
Taste :4.2/5Environment: 4.1/5Service:4.2/5Weekend all day poke available .Staffs are friendly and love this clean and contemporary interior design .Avocado is not included . Surcharge for $1.5 . In terms of portion is a bit pricy .
Stop whatever you’re doing and come eat here. Never in my life have I ever ate a meal and had an out of body experience. Truly amazing. How can healthy food be this delicious?!? Great portions and fast too! The store in PS is slow but here, the staff is super quick. Very friendly too. I’ve been coming here for years and will continue to do so. Five stars is not enough. 7.2/5 is more accurate. God bless this restaurant and it’s staff. (No photos of food available because I ate it too fast)
My husband and I had been coming here for years, one of the best poke places in the Coachella valley! 100/10!
First time trying poké. Im a big fan of sushi so I figured this would also be delicious (a correct assumption). Ordered a bowl with a salad base, salmon and an assortment of toppings. If I was a local, I would eat here all the time.
I love this place. Im always greeted with a smile and now they know me by name. Not only is the food great but so is the customer service.
The rice was crunchy, the food was over priced. I will never go back
My favorite. Good service and good food. You pick what you put in your bowl. The burritos are great deals, and they have a great array of teas.
Wow I can not believe that so many people leaving good reviews about this place so called haus of poke it is way over priced small portions underperforming staff very rude staff and further more quit trying to over sell haus of poke it’s not what it says it is actually so I’m not sure how these people leaving good reviews make there claim they must know the owner or something trying to help the owner for businesses look people all you have to do is take a short drive down hwy 111 in palm desert and you will find poke Hanna there is we’re you will find the true poke experience bang for you buck and great pricing and forther more nice friendly people too
Dinner time on a Tuesday night, it was pretty empty here. We love poke, so are always looking for a new spot to try. We were disappointed. I ordered a half rice, half salad bowl, with 2 protein scoops. The salad was unfortunately just spinach leaves (not mixed greens like the description online). The portion sizes for $16 was very skimpy. the smallest scoops ever, and not packed in like at other places where they dump it out in a clump, there were all of 12 tiny chunks of ahi there. My second protein was beets (oddly enough). I should have asked for it as a topping because really - its not a protein, but it was listed as a protein option and I love beets... so. My dinner companion just had the "salad" (spinachas a base (facepalm), then 2 scoops of crab. There were barely any toppings available (cucumber, green and red onion, mango, ginger, and soy beans - thats it). The sauces were okay, but not well displayed. Overall the food was tasty, but for $35 dollars, we should have gone to Pokehanna down the street and gotten 2 meals and 2 beers, and had leftovers. Disappointing. As my partner said, "the owner should go visit Pokehanna in Palm Desert to get some ideas". We will not be back :(
Wack… paid $17 for what the website says $13, had to pay $1.50 extra each for some toppings, scoops where skimped, wasabi wasn’t even an available option, and hot sauce was out. Walked out paying over $22 for an empty bowl. Employees seem nice but this place is way over priced for what is given.
On 01-04-22 @ around 5:20 I walked into the restaurant to be received by underwhelming customer service from the gentleman working the line. Normally I would just brush it off but, this certain gentleman skimped out on two of my bowls which I had to pay for and take home. This was very upsetting and disappointing because I have been coming to this establishment since the opening and through remodeling when they were operating out of the truck and hadn’t experienced this before. I was very let down as I didn’t receive what I paid for especially since the price increase. I don’t mind paying the extra money because I love the food, however I really don’t like to pay more for less while receiving mediocre customer service from said gentleman. For these reasons I am giving my experience a two star review.
Delicious variety, even with shellfish allergies I was able to eat comfortable as they keep all food separate.
Friendly Staff, Plenty of parking, Pricing makes sense. I prefer this location over the downtown Palm Springs location because the DT Palm Springs Location closes at 3:00pm for some reason. Overall worth the additional drive to get to this location. Plus they add Boba to your tea for 0.75 cents and I have zero complaints about the food or service.
This is a confession. Even though this restaurant is located in my hometown, I never walked into it and understood the concept. On the way from a travel writing assignment, I was hungry and spied this one.The staff was gracious and helped me put my bowl together using their step by step process on the wall.Verdict.....so healthy good, and enough for two meals for this mature woman. 😉
Excellent place, fresh viewable ingredients with variety to mix and match to your taste. Great concept. The decor is modern and very spacious and clean. There is outdoor dining area. Staff is friendly. I had a 2 scoop bowl and it more than enough. Overall a great experience in customizing you own taste.
I know this place is a lot of peoples spot but we werent impressed at all. The 4 of us that went have had Poke at a few different places that have been amazing. This place has small portions in comparison to others. They have a lot of options. It wasnt bad, its just a lot of money for what you get. But their customer service was spot on!
I love Haus of Poké! The reason I gave it only 4 stars is that one of the staff was in training, and not only did I have to repeat myself on every step (the seasoned employee heard me fine and was able to complete our first bowl beautifullyour second bowl didnt end up as ordered. The trainer left the trainee in the middle of his putting together the second bowl and beckoned me over to pay. I hope the trainee works out and he becomes another valuable employee.
Great meal to eat during the summer heat 🌞 If you’re looking for cool fresh seafood meal to cool down from the heat 🏝 The Hawaiian Poké Bowl should be on your top list 👍🏼 This place offer a relaxing experience along with an off-brand of soda fountain, which I must say is pretty tasty and strongly recommend giving it shot 👌🏼👍🏼Just know that knowing how to make your own Poké Bowl is important to truly enjoy the experience that the Poké Bowl have to offer 🧐 Beware that Poké Bowl may become addicting 😅
First time at this place. Had the bowl with ahi Tuna and Salmom with brown rice as the base. Very tasty and great mix of flavors.Definitely recommend it if youre in the area.
My favorite Poke in desert. Always fresh and fast. Super sweet employees, even wearing masks. They are in great moods. Food is phenomenal! My go to place
Poki is fine. Hours are limited for a resort town, they tend to close early and in my experience pragmatically before posted hours. You should be about to get food if you arrive before close....not always the case.
The staff here is fabulous! They always greet you so kindly and get your order processed in a very timely manor. Extra appreciate them during these pandemic times as you can tell they work hard to uphold high cleanliness standards and keep the place is sparkling clean & safe.
Fresh, healthy food with friendly helpful service. There is a great selection of addons and toppings. If youve never had a poke bowl this would be a great place to try one. They always ask if youve been before so theyll know if you need some explaining about how it works to fill your bowl just the way you like it. I go to the one in Rancho Mirage which has been using their food truck for take out during the pandemic.
I typically love the food here and come often and I hate to write a bad review, but I had just ordered a bowl off of Postmates and I’m sad to say that this wasn’t the quality that I had remembered. Every time that I have gotten food from Haus of Poke, the food was all super fresh and tasty which makes this place one of my favorites in the CV. But this time, when I saw the bowl I was disappointed with what I had got. The rice was chewy and overcooked leaving it in inedible chunks of gooey hardness, the fish had tasted slimy and like it had been sitting out, I was given barely any mix ins (which is my favorite part typically!I was given 3 pieces of red onion, the ginger was dry and stale?, it wasn’t good. It had even looked disappointing! I was really looking forward to getting my favorite food but unfortunately it wasn’t as good as I was hoping 😕
They still use throwaway bowls, utensils and glasses. They can do better.
Nice service. First time here and they helped explain how to order poke bowl. Food quality was great.
So we walk in and look at the fish sitting there...ewwww, salmon was slimy looking and everything was already chopped and none too cold looking. Teenagers running the place too. We decided against eating there. Im sorry, but your asking for food poisoning with kind of set up. Just like beef, when you grind or cut it up you are letting in waaay more bacteria then a steak. The fish should be kept whole and wrapped until ordered and THEN cube it, just like sushi bars do. Hard pass! 🤷♀️🤨
Staff was very polite from the get go. First time visiting establishment. Ordered the bowl with mahi tuna. and crab with wasabi aoili, spicy tuna, mixed together than added crunchy garlic, ginger, wasabi sauce. Everything very fresh and so delicious. Very filling, and plenty left for late night eating. Price for 2 scoops and 2 bowls and a drink $26. Not bad!!!
Great taste and endless options to customize your order. Ingredients are fresh as well. Dont worry if you are vegan or dont think youd like "raw fish." This place has vegan options! Gluten free choices are also highlighted for convenience. Give Haus of Poke a chance, and your mouth will thank you.
My poke standards are very high, and they met them here. Two scoops of ahi, one scoop of octopus with some seeweed and some great toppings made me wish I was back in Hawaii.
Disappointed in my last visit. While the food was as good as usual, they were such in a hurry to close ( it was about 50 minutes before closingthat they rushed us and put the wrong sauce on my bowl then added toppings I did not ask. They were lucky that I did not mind,. Then they forgot to give my husband the sauce he asked.... I understand being in a rush if it is a few minutes before closing, although it should not matter, but almost ONE hour before closing???? Inadequate service and that is too bad because usually they are really pleasant and patient.... There is nothing more aggravating than the feeling that you are a burden when ordering food...Plenty of other poke places in our area so they have competition and most of all, they need to remember that good, consistent service keeps customers coming back.
Good food, fresh and lots of flavor from the half-dozen times Ive visited. Expect to spend about $13-$20 a person. The sheer number of choices can be overwhelming to some.-1 star for occasional bad attitude from one employee there, mostly from a few rude experiences. Hard to criticize the other staff over it though.
So tough to find healthy food fast but Haus of Poke does it. Order online and its even faster!
Always great. Super clean restaurant. Cheerful and helpful staff. Food is always amazing. Lots of choices. Military discount. Samsung Pay. Hold your smartphone over the card swiper. Great new drink dispenser. Try it out. Youll love it. Also, love the hybrid fork and chopsticks.
Love this place ! Great food, they make it up in front of you while you are choosing what fixings you want to go in it or on it depending on what you are ordering a burrito, salad, bowl. I highly recommend this place. They have two locations Rancho Mirage and Downtown Palm Springs is there newest location.
Fresh & delicious poke!!! Loved all the options you can add to your bowl at no charge. Yummy!!!
Wonderful experience, and my first Poke bowl. The bar is set.Loved the wood details in the restaurant and bubble type glass tiles in the bathroom. Really nice accent features, that complement the Hawaiian theme.Fresh food, and clean environment, I loved it!
The best poke around. They have a good selection of poke bowls, salads, and burritos. I can always count on the quality to remain the same throughout all the times Ive been here. There is always plenty of staff to assist you in getting your meal to you as soon as possible.
Haus of Poké was very delicious for my first experience. Select your base of rice salad or burrito, then and add protein or tofu. They have a great selection of different toppings and sauces/seasonings to complete your meal. I ordered a small size and it was a good size lunch/snack. The selection of beverages is also impressive such as Boba teas, milk tea, etc. Give it try if you enjoy Poké! Clean friendly and fast service.
Unfortunately I didnt get to take a photograph which I always do! I love this place! I have loved this place since it opened! The food is amazing and so well laid out! The people there treat you like family! If you want something thats quick but healthy, come here!! Next time I go, lots of photos!
Pretty damn good. Quick food, healthy and tastes good too.
Good sauce and ingredients. Its a bit tiring during the walk thru order process. If there is a form to fill in that would be awesome.
Fresh, delicious poke every time we go! They even have spam masubi for my little one who isnt much into poke. Cant wait for their new location. Im sure we will be regulars there too.
Great place and great service. The fish is great, a great selection of toppings and mix ins for the bowls or burritos. They also have fun and creative options like their nachos with won ton chips, or the tacos on Tuesday. And the boba is the perfect refreshment for summer. Oh, and cant forget the spam sushi.
I spend a lot of time in Japan and Hawaii so I have always loved poke. This fast-food version is a great business model. Delicious, fast and healthy; what more can you ask for?
Very fresh poke and super friendly staff. The portions are very generous I would recommend getting a medium size as you can add a large amount of toppings at no extra cost.
Very filling, refreshing food and worth the price. Milk teas are outstanding. One of a kind place here in the valley. So happy we have a place like this here. Love to see the variety of ppl that eat and work here. Love the utensils too lol.
I say four stars since they have only been open a short time. They have a good start. The flavor was good but the portions are off. The price is steep for how small a scoop of fish is. Id like to see bigger scoop sizes for your proteins and smaller portions of mix-ins.
