Been to all the breakfast restaurants in Orillia hands down the best breakfast at the Hasty Tasty

Like stepping back in time! Great atmosphere and service. Food was excellent!

Nice local spot for a quiet breakfast. Its got the story in its walls and the new management seems eager to make the location work. Food was good and prices were fair. The waitress mentioned the poutine is good so no doubt Ill be back to try lunch next visit!

Food was excellent, service was super friendly. It is under new ownership so they are working out the menus and prices seem reasonable. Next time I visit I will take a couple pics. They have a small patio out front. Apparently a few movies have been shot in the diner so the place has lots of history.

Always a favourite. Glad to see they are back open! The new management kept all of the original decor, it takes you back to the 1950s.Portions are perfect, the food is amazing and the coffee is delicious and always flowing.

I have been going to this restaurant 20 + years.I havent had to complain about anything what so ever. Joan the owner and head server is always on top of things. She not only serves but she cooks and manages this great dinner. Good home cooking is definitely why you should go here. Great breakfast, and great lunches are definitely to be expected here at The Hasty Tasty.

This place is fantastic. Its original. Layed back. And great value for money. It doesnt try hard to be an old-school diner, because it is an old-school diner.

Stopped in here with my girlfriend one morning for breakfast, I had the farmers sausage and it was amazing! A must go breakfast joint! Old school diner that only takes cash, service was excellent!

As for the plus: The inside feels like an old streetcar Diner from the 60s. I keep on coming back for breakfast. The ham portions are really generous, compared with other restaurants in the area. The coffee flow has always been excellent, which is one of the reasons why I keep on coming back. Nothing worse that running out of coffee during breakfast.Prices for breakfast include coffee and refills! The service has always been friendly and inclusive.As for the tiny drawbacks: 1 It would be nice to have a choice of potatoes for breakfast. Here they are diced and deep fried - no negotiation.2BRING CASH. This is a cash only place.3No Internet, which means no news or email reading on the tablet or phone |:(

Quick service by pleasant ,attentive ladies . Food is alway well prepared , good size portions every time and price well . The restaurant is very nostalgic and comfortable . When ever Im in Orillia visiting we stop by for a meal .

Delicious homemade food, & friendly customer service.

The food is good and reasonably priced, although the dinner is very small and parking can be an issue depending on when you go. They also didnt have fresh orange juice, if that is something that matters to you. The service was good though and they took a reasonable amount of time to get our food out. Our waitress was very nice as well. Overall, would go back.

Its been a meeting place for years for my wifes family and freinds of ours. The fries and gravy are awesome!!!!!!

My cousins joaniesfamily breakfast place.... yum love to gather whole fam and fill the back room for a breakfast social reinion. Tasty omlets good size portions. Right across from the golf- tobogan hills!
