Very fun and exciting. Hope that you dont get stuck behind someone that goes slow because then youll have to stop and wait if you want to go fast 🙂. Very good overall.

Great to do, very nice people. The sweet man at the start made sure I could go full throttle.We were lucky to nearly be the only people there. Rainy Monday afternoon in September. No wait time, private ride.

Very nice and fast coaster. Unfortunately, the downside of it being so long is that you will eventually catch up to slower riders in front. Wait times were not long in September.

Had a delightful experience on the toboggan ride downhill!The ski lift from the bottom of the mountain up to the top and then a speedy, thrilling downhill toboggan ride later, you feel happy! The life takes you up to the top from where the toboggan can be accessed. The route is quite nice and it is fun to ride. Only really depends on how slow the person in front is travelling.Going early might be able to avoid the waiting times.

Had to wait 1.5 hours but it was worth. The kids also loved it.

Great experience in the middle of Black Forest. It’s 11 euros to go up with the ski lift and then there you can do the roller coaster.There’s a nice restaurant up there and u can enjoy some drinks and food looking at paraglider. It’s kind of a self service Imbiss. We stayed in line for this roller coaster about 15 min but it was the best ride looking at an amazing view of Black Forest !

Really nice rodelbahn. But we had to wait 30 mins at the ticket office and again 45 mins at the top. Also the people in front of us were afraid so they slowed us down a lot and made the total experience less exiting.Next time I will go very early to avoid families with small kids.

It looks so harmless from the valley when you look up. When you start riding its anything but. Yes, you can brake the entire 2,9 km (1.8 miles); however, it will be boring and your entire family and all of your friends will be stuck behind you and call you a dud. I rode quite aggressively and the ride down was wild. I learned to break (because of the signsbefore the curve and once in the curve let go and really get off on the G forces. On straightaways I let loose and allowed gravity to make it a wild ride. For adults the panoramic chairlift up as well as the total thrill down was well worth the 11 Euros. The line was long but I avoided it by going for a walk in the Black Forest (with unbelievably beautiful views at over 3,000 feetand had a drink in the restaurant while watching the parasailers take off and glide over the mountain. I took my time and enjoyed as much as I could which made me literally the last sledge down the mountain for the day. In the end its as exhilarating as you want to make it because you are in total control of the speed.

Very good tobbogan run, around 50€ for family of 5. Free parking spots nearby. Downside is the long waiting time on a hot summers day (1h45). Staff was professional, equipment was well maintained. Compliments to the guy with dreadlocks doing the same safety talk over and over again while staying superfriendly.

Long line but worth the wait

The ride itself is pretty cool. But visiting during august prepare for 2.5 hours wait for a single ride. There’s a queue for the tickets and there’s an even longer queue up there after the cable ride.We got stuck behind a young family and the whole ride down was quite slow and our kids got frustrated. Imagine it’s very likely to happen each time when it’s so busy.You have to buy the “komplete” option that includes the cable ride and the coaster for total of 10 euros roughly (bit more expensive for adults and cheaper for kids).ONLY BUY one ride for every person. We bought two rides for the kids but they gave up when they went up with the cable and saw that the queue got even longer than before. Waste of money.

Also open in winter, this 2.9km alpine coaster is good fun for all the family. You must pay at the cabin at the bottom of the ski lift, where you can also pay for a lift to the top. Currently €11 for a lift and coaster run. Very long queues at the top in summer though (waited over an hour early August weekday).

If I lived here I would go several times a week. Amazing installation. Thank you German Engineering!

long line at top. 1hr wating in the sun. they can add some shade there for us tourists. doesnt cost that much...anyway the ride down is very cool...

Had an amazing ride here and wonder why no one mentions about this place in the travel blogs when talking about the top places in black forest. This is must go place for people who enjoy rides.

Prepare for long queues in the high season. Spectacular downhill ride.

It is awesome when you get to go fast, i.e. when you dont have a slow person in front of you. =One of the best rodelbahn I have tried.

A very nice cable car (open typeand mountain roller coaster. The cable car accepts baby strollers and wheelchairs (hoisted up with you). At the top there is a restaurant (that was closed when we were thereand another one at the bottom.Overall a good experience and ok price.

Great experience.The price is fair but the time... almost 45min for the way up by cable car and then down by the coaster...Not to mention if somebody slow is riding before u...All in all- recommended.

Gorgeous and peaceful ride up with a magical view from the top. Ride down on the coaster was well worth the wait!

Well worth a visit, we thoroughly enjoyed the roller coaster. You can control your own speed of descent so can make it as exhilarating as you like. Also we asked the operator and he assured us the cats cannot leave the track regardless of how fast you go.

Great attraction in Todtnau, defintly recommand to take the funical to go the top. Ride is really long and its a pleasure to go down with highspeed

Very fun experience! The way it is set up keeps waiting times low and replayability high. One of the longest tracks Ive ever been on and worth it!

Winter rodelbahn was so much fun. Get there early for fewer people but even in the late afternoon it was not too crowded. Bring your own sled or rent here.

Very nice place to enjoy the day with the whole family. Finally, you can go down the valley by toboggan run or bike.

Great fun with kids. Beautiful view from the top before getting the adrenaline pumping with the Rodelbahn. Waiting time at the top can be long (up to 1 hr). Good activity for a couple of hours. Combined with a hike to Todtnau waterfall and it can be a good half a days activity with family. Recommended.

The alpine coaster is fun but get here early. Parking fills up quick and the wait can be over 90 minutes. They also have a bike park and the trail looks gnarly.

Great fun. Free parking near the base of the lift. About €10 to take a ski lift to the top of the mountain and toboggan down ONE TIME. Good for kids of most ages, but there is a height minimum so your 3 year old may not get on. Also... CASH ONLY! Nice view at the top. A long ride down, at your own speed. I recommend not using your brakes 😬

Amazing view on the way up and a great slide down but the 1.5 -2hr queue on the top for the mountain slide at 11 in the strong sun was terrible. Also no fence where the crowd stands which is dangerous for young kids. Afternoon we looked up from the road and saw no lines so try it later than in the morning . If you have the Hocheschwartzwald card you go straight to the cable car and doesnt have to stand in the line for tickets.

This place rocks! Very well maintained and well oiled machine. It was really busy, but the process was smooth and the ride is great. They even do an exceptional job of managing both the ride and the extreme number of mountain bikers. What a blast!

Super lots fun as always. Especially on Sunday afternoon some patience necessary. Waiting times can be up to one hour at the top to drive the coaster.

For €10 euro you get a ride on the ski lift which has stunning views and is quite relaxing, and a go on the Toboggan. Its well worth the wait, which for us was about 45 minutes.You are given a quick brief on how to control the toboggan and sent on your way. You can take corners as fast as you like, it does have signs suggesting when to brake. If you go down too fast though you will catch up to the person in front. You may be unlucky enough to get behind a slow person. I slowed right down and took on the views, (keeping an eye out for the rider behind meand when the person in front had gone far enough I floored it round the corner(s). Theres a low quality ride photo at the end which you can print for a €3, good value for the quality.Overall and enjoyable visit :D

Very fun attraction! And a great view. When you go up, then take a wake to uphill to see the view from the top of the mountain.

I had a real roller-coaster experience here. We started upwards on chaircar at around 12. Had to wait for 2.5 hours on the top. Worth the wait!Unfortunately, in the initial curves, I dropped my Osmo Action Camera. The staff were really helpful. Asked me to return at 5, and helped me find it!

Love the altitude and speed. But best come first thing in the morning if you want a run with speed. It can get busy in the afternoon and when people in front of you are too slowly its not so fun.

This was a novelty for us because we dont have any in Ireland. Going up in the chair lift there is beautiful views over the town of Todtnau. There is a place at the top to get food and drink. When we were there the queue was only around 10 minutes but I think it can be very long at times. The sledge is quiet comfortably and has brakes. You have to push the brake lever to release it. If you let the lever go the sledge will stop. I was quiet slow at the beginning but by the end was loving it. I think it was €9,50 per go.

Its a great ride with a fabulous view. All over a great experience getting up with the lift and riding downhill full-speed. But 10€ is way too much for one single ride.

Brilliant fun! Worth every penny. You take the chairlift up and the Toboggan down the mountain. Beautiful views and the Toboggan is amazing.Kids from age 8/over the height of 1.40m can ride by themselves. Otherwise an adult must accompany smaller children.During weekends and holidays there can be long queues at the top for the Toboggan, but it is worth it. When we went, the sign said it was going to be 2.5 hrs of queuing, but really it was just short of one hour and we enjoyed the view during that time.Opens at 9am. Because the queues can be long, they often stop letting people up at 4pm, in order to ensure everyone is down by closing time at 6pm.

Great fun in the right weather, for 10 € per person you get tickets to go uphill by the cable car then down again by the sliding ride or the cable car, make sure to go early so the waiting time is short, in average expect one hour for the full journey most of it is waiting for the slide.

Fun rodelbahn. We were lucky to get there early in the morning when the queue was still okay. But the people behind us had to wait a long time. It was worth the price of 10 Euro for the lift and the coaster.

Fair price for the roller coaster and chair lift. Coaster was awesome and was no que at all (late Septembersome English speaking staff, weizen beer at the top was awesome. View point is a steep walk off the top of the chair lift but also worth the trek.Would have loved to do the DH trails but was told its only open at the weekend and Id need my full face helmet to use my own bike.

One of the coolest coasters I have tried across Europe. It is very long and fast. Definitely give it a try if you are around.

The way down is very fast and cool but the way up by the cabel-car is very slow. So if you want to do it again and again, consider you will have to wait ~15 min even without waiting in lines... If you want to buy your in action picture, you can only have it hard-copy printed, and there is no way to get a digital copy of it by email or by any other means.
