Набережная необыкновенно красива, во многих ресторанах официанты знают не только английский, но и польский (так как много туристов из Польши), если пройтись по улочкам в "глубь" города, то уже открывается совершенно другой вид. Для меня это город контрастов, где роскошь и бедность уживаются на одной улице. Единственный минус (для меняэто каменистые пляжи и дно в море. Очень больно и не удобно отдыхать. Если это однодневный визит в Албанию (например экскурсия из Грециито конечно стоит искупаться и провести часок на пляже, но как отдых на 7-10 дней это уж слишком, приятного мало....

Die Promenade in saranda ist unglaublich schön und ausdrucksvoll, der Hafen ist zwar klein, dennoch sind da jede Menge Schiffe zu sehen. Das Meer sieht fabelhaft aus, einfach traumhaft. Immer wieder schön.The promenade in Saranda is incredibly beautiful and expressive, the harbor is small, but there are plenty of ships to see. The sea looks fabulous, just fantastic. Always beautiful.

This monument is nothing special. According to Wikipedia Hasan Tahsini (7 April 1811 – 3 July 1881also known as Hoxha Tahsin was an Albanian astronomer, mathematician and philosopher. He was the first rector of Istanbul University and one of the founders of the Central Committee for Defending Albanian Rights. Tahsini is regarded as one of the most prominent scholars of the Ottoman Empire of the 19th century.The gardens in which this monument is situated are lovely, peaceful despite the promenade and shady.Opposite the monument is and interesting piece of old wall, but no idea what that was.
