Harwich Mayflower Heritage Centre - History museum in Ipswich, United Kingdom
This week end a special event
Railway museum was very interesting and the guide was really knowledgeable. Lots of things on view you wouldnt see anywhere else set out in original settings. Looking forward to more exhibits being added in the future. Worth taking children to see how railways have developed
Big hard to find but was a nice warm venue
Not moving forward. Disappointed
Desolate abandoned project
Great project cannot wait to see finished
A genuinely interesting project and very worthy of your interest.
Will be doing voluntary work for this project in a couple of weeks. Really excited, cant wait.
Very interested in your project. My heritage dates to Wales. My family immigrated to the U.S. when it was just known as the colonies. I will watch as your project moves forward and hope to see you launch it.
The Mayflower project is a registered charity which is building a ship from scratch using English Oak tress;this is a big deal for Harwich and its neighboring towns. The project in is definitely worth a visit, you can either phone before hand or turn up between 9-5pm and one of their very friendly helpful staff members will show you around. I encourage anyone who has some spare time or money to go and find out about this worthwhile project, they are looking for volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to get involved.
Brilliant idea still starting off although their are people there with plenty of vision and imagination
