Not a health conscious option. Decaf options are instant coffee and substandard green tea. No fruit, yogurt, whole grain type breakfasts. I was stuck with one chemical-tasting pancake made from powdered mix ($6). My husbands Hungry Man breakfast included eggs that tasted old and canned baked beans.Server was friendly.

Had the chicken, mozzarella burger. Really good. Fries were fresh and hot. No complaints.

As an OTR driver stuck here over the Thanksgiving weekend, this place is a godsend!! I’ve eaten in restaurants all across this beautiful country and the food here was top shelf!! Hot, good size portions and very very tasty. Wouldn’t hesitate for a split second to come back next time I’m here.

Locals recommend this little restaurant! Said they serve authentic newfoundland food. Unfortunately they closed at 7pm and we never got to try.

Great dining area, friendly staff. I had the 2 Piece Pan Fried Cod. Fish was great! Fries were frozen but they were still good! Topped with dressing and gravy that were also great. Tartar sauce was average. My brother had the Big Boss Burger and my father had the Roast Turkey Dinner both of which were very good as well. The winner of the three was definitely the burger though !

The cheeseburger was amazing! So tasty and fresh! And the fries were so golden and crisp. The only thing I would change was the can of pop... Should be fountain pop for that price.

It was totally packed couldnt get a table must be great grub.

Dont know why theyre rated at 4.4 stars. Fries and onion rings are frozen. Carrots they put as a side on your plate are soggy and 99% water. Had a hot turkey sandwich and it was soggy with gravy and the turkey was cooked to pieces. Just not good overall... not much taste and what I did taste I didnt like. Nor did the rest of the folks I was eating with. Staff are OK - cant call the server friendly because she didnt really speak much.

Sweet home goodness in every bite!No pop machine, so you buy each can. Decently priced, a family of 5 ate for under $100! A staple if you are in the area.

Food was very good. Not much wait time.

We came in a little late, about 15 minutes before closing time. We all ordered fresh cod fish sandwiches with potatoes and the food was delicious! On our way out we struck up a conversation with the owner and he was the nicest, warm-hearted guy weve met on our trip. These are the kind of experiences you remember years later after the trip has ended.

over the years we have had some wonderful meals at Harterys , five years ago I have benn diagnosed with celiac , in the last few years we have asked if I could have cod fried in corn starch , each time we were told they dont have corn starch , what restaurant dont have corn starch

Delicious meal! Good value for the money, (which one of the people I was dining with paid, but whatever,I had the hot turkey dinner and the others in the party had deep fried fish and chips! Everyone lished it down likety-split and walked away happy! Highly recommend!

Excellent food. The were excellent at accommodating my high protein low carb diet. I had prime rib one night and pork chops another. Both were awesome. Our waitress was also amazing and a truly hard worker. We hop you get you car soon!!!

They fries are good but the fish is not good i like a highliner fish and chips dinner in a box out on a plate for 16.99 for 2 piece not the best quality food. But the server were nice but a bit rushy to get us out locked the door half way through meal

Good food, friendly service but always chilly in here. Surely if your customers are sitting with their coats on it should tell you that the thermostat needs to go up a notch or two!

Warm, friendly atmosphere with delicious home cooked foods. Never a disappointment. The breaded cod was moist, light and flaky.

Inconsistent as always. Some days great, some days not so much. Had the fish platter the last time I was there and the salmon was so dry I couldnt eat it. No self respecting Newfoundlander should admit to cooking that salmon, wow. My dad couldnt eat his turkey dinner either, too dry. So, note to self, stay away in Sunday nights.
