Food is great! Enjoyed the vibe and the music.Just be aware of cars driving past Harringtons entrance on Harrington street stealing cell phones. They drive by slowly and then grab your cell phone out of your hand when ordering your Uber and you unaware! Two incidents of cell phones stolen in this way on the same night.

Great cocktail lounge ambience, reasonable prices given the upmarket retro look, attentive service.Only drawback was that my companion found her mussels too salty to eat and the establishment charged for them anyway.

Visited them on Wednesday for their R220 special for a 3 course meal and selection of 5 wines for tasting. The food was very good and well presented and a good selection of Forester wines. Great value for money.

When I visit Capetown this is my venue of choice to party. Wonderful atmosphere. Nice decor. The Djs are great and you have to try the whisky sours!

Such a good vibe here, the tapas are really good. I thoroughly enjoyed the burger I ordered here. The best part is the variety of cocktails on the menu.

What an absolute blast! The atmosphere is wonderful. The staff went out of their way to make us feel like a party King and Queen. You must try their whiskey sours.

Visited on a Wednesday evening for their wine tasting special. Incredible value for money at only R220 for a three course meal with free wine tasting. The food was delicious, hot, well presented and good portions. The staff are friendly and attentive. Loud music is playing as this is a cocktail bar. The wine tasting brand changes once a month but you can enjoy the special every Wednesday. Parking outside is limited so try to arrive early around 6pm. The seating is comfortable and allows for tables for couples or large groups of people. The decor is old school Hollywood with a touch of 1900s London. I had a lovely evening and will be back!

Amazing venue, djs, cocktails and all around a great time! I prefer this side of the venue to district as it is a bit more classy. Thanks for all the memories and good vibes

Had a fun night. Some interesting tequila pairings. The mains were delicious (choice of divine Kingklip or tasty Rib-eye Steakwith scrumptious sides. If tequila is your thing, youll definitely enjoy the Thursday Fiesta Feast. The host (Guyis a very friendly gent & the staff are welcoming. The venue has an old-school classic "Bugsy Malone" charm. The DJ entertains with lively beats & cool mixes. Definitely a good spot for friends to meet after work for dinner & drinks. Would be a great choice for a "grown ups" party venue. Check the pics to see the Fiesta Pairing Menu Starter, Mains & Dessert. Ubering to the Fiesta Feast is recommended, as the tequila pairings pack quite a punch and are served with every meal tasting, plus 50% off tequila shooters. A boozy fiesta & fun night with friends.

Incredibly rude owner, told my daughter who was just trying to speak to him about entry inside to "Shut her mouth" What type of example is he setting speaking to a young women like that in front of his male bouncers. Imagine if he speaks to women like that what his bouncers will think they can get away with. Left her standing crying on the pavement outside. Now wonder there are such bad reviews for Harringtons!

Love the place and music but the barmen lied about the cost of the drinks... charging more than the real cost... and still argued about it until the other barmen corrected him. Overcharging is not only lying but also stealing from the customer. Waitress also confirmed he was over charging me and my friends. Not the first time this has happened to us at Harringtons.

Attended a Tappas & Tasting evening.The food at Harringtons is a surprisingly good deal. The event happens every Wednesday featuring various wineries. R190.00 for your starter, main & dessert this includes 2 glasses of wine + a personalized tasting of a few more. Absolute bargain!!!!This picture is of the gnocchi. I had line fish whilst the majority of the table went for the ribeye.

A lovely setting and vibe! Myself and my Wife went here for supper to celebrate after getting married over the weekend. The service from the staff is flawless. We were helped by Jesse and also served by a representative from Kleine Zalze Wines (Wernerlast night. Absolutely amazing service from the two. The Chef outdone himself Rib Eye steak and fish which we ordered. I would highly recommend this place for a memorable night out 😊

Love this place. Upon entering I was pleasantly surprised. The set up is a vibe on its own.

Other than being well located and the venue being quite pretty, this bar is overpriced in comparison to similar establishments. You also have to pay R100 entrance in the evenings on the weekends, just to pay the fee and find the place virtually empty inside. Also the music is very generic. Not worth all the extra expenditures.

What can I say except... Perfection. Entry fee during the club hours is affordable, bar layout is fully wrapped around to the convenience of almost everybody. Seating continues the wrap around theme and dance floor/stage is front and center. Drinks are priced in the medium/high bracket depending on what you order and what specials they have going on. Its not going to break the bank, but be thoughtful with what youre ordering. The vibe and atmosphere is cool, calm, and collected. Even during the late clubbing hours it still manages to maintain a level head and everyone seems to be on the same wave-length. This is a MUST for locals to frequent and a MUST for tourists to have a dinner or night out at.

The DJs here are really good. Their seafood is great if you come before 10pm (after that it turns into a club on most weekends from Thursday, I think). The crowd is always dancing on the dance floor and moving around by the booths. The place looks very classy. Its still one of my favourites in Cape Town

Amazing from the moment we arrived. Hostess was warm, welcoming and accommodating. Waitress was attentive. Tapas were surprising tasty. Cocktails were delicious - I would recommend the pamplemouse. Vibe turns up after 10pm. Great music. Social and diverse crowd. Will definitely frequent this place future :D

A chilled yet vibey spot which can be used for catch ups with friends, a casual meeting or later at night sometimes and weekends definitely for a good party. Staff are professional, witty and friendly. Food was amazing and expertly presented.

A perfect spot to grab some non alcohol or alcoholic beverages. The decor is modern vintage and definitely and contributes to the ambience. Great music and even better service.

Music is loud and clear. Bar is a bit of a wait, but I would love to go again. Decor was done nicely and place has lounge areas. The crowd was a bit crazy and the bathrooms were actually accessible and not 9ver crowded, guess its the entrance money that allows for this.

Great spot for happy hour. Tucked away upstairs in an unassuming part of downtown you will find Harringtons. After winding your way up the stairs you will find a quaint little bar that wraps around the corner with plenty of options for the seasoned drinker. They have a good set of appetizers available for discount during happy hour and the live music adds a nice touch. Service could be a little faster and more friendly but it dodnt take away from the experience.

Harrington’s cocktail lounge is an amalgamation of 80s style, french champagne, and modern dance bar.The host is always friendly and staff well versed in their wide variety of beverages, and gourmet snacks.Always a ball at Harrington’s, with well knows DJs raising the roof all weekend.Keep an eye on the weekly specials. A must for all tourists.

Great place to hangout after work for a few drinks. They serve really great cocktails, they have experienced barmen which is always great. The drinks are slightly on the expensive side, but they normally have happy hour on a Friday at 5pm to 7pm.Its quite spacious and has a smoking section.They have a DJ from 9pm so turns into a club.

Partied there on a Saturday night, the bar staff were great! The dj was excellent! The bouncers were omnipresent but not imposing. The decor is really cool! All round had a great time!

Super place for socializing and dancing. Good sound and funky tunes. Just a bit pricey.

We did pre-dinner drinks and love the place. It is open and spacious and has fantastic wooden decorations. The staff are very cool but easy going. The bar has big shelves and is well lighten. The bar cocktails were special and I am going back there soon.

We came here for Jazz Night and we really enjoyed ourselves. The crowd was extremely live the night we were there and everyone began dancing towards the end of the 2nd set.Around 10 PM the band ended and then the DJ began playing and a different crowd began to move in which switched it to a more party feel. I wish there was a greater mix in the music that was played, but over all it was a good time.The tapas are really big in portion size for the pick 4 for R200. I was quite surprised.

I imagine this venue will grow rapidly & successfully like all their brands. It has lots of potential and i imagine lots of fun. We were early because we are cough older, drinks were very expensive and then we were offered a R1400 bottle of johnny walker at 7pm. 😀 watch this space though- great team building big things to come. Nice part of town.

I spent new years here and loved it. It place music for the older young adults, perhaps 27 & up which is awesome. Its like a classy restaurant that you can dance at. There are two bars and the barman help you relatively quickly. An awesome experience, will definitely return!

One of my favorite nightlife spots in the city so far. Excellent cocktails, a good mix in the crowd (age, gender, styles), music is on point and eclectic. The ambience is perfect as well, allows for both dancing and conversation. Decor is chic and the layout is expansive and open. Top notch spot and highly recommended.
