Harmony Cafe - Restaurant in Muncie, United States
Place is amazing! Food was terrific!! Definitely deserves to be top ten in Muncie and surrounding area. Owner is fantastic and has so many creative adventures! Highly suggest speaking with him about the other fun adventures he is involved with.
Hands down best cubano sandwich, black bean soup perfect and that garlic aioli...divine!! Best lunch ever!!
The food is always fresh and wonderful. Service is great. Love the menu choices, something for everyone.
Unique and diverse food and drink with great taste. One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Friendly and quick service. Also well kept and a great environment. The only thing that could make it better is if they had their own parking. Definitely gotta try the mango chutney if you go
Quaint, charming cafe with cozy decor in the heart of Muncie. The food was incredible! I had the Island Pork sandwich with a mango chutney that was everything! Soups are delicious also.
Ridiculously great food!!!! If you haven’t been here you are definitely missing out! I only wished they did dinner.
I went to Harmony for the first time today, and had one of the best lunches I have ever eaten! I got the build your own bowl and a cup of the chicken tikka masala soup. Highly recommended! Already have plans for lunch there again next week with a friend.
The best meal I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve had about 58,035 meals in my time.
The food was so good, we forgot to take a photo before it was gone. Vegan options are off the charts and delicious (see photo.Super helpful waitstaff. Delicious!
Delicious food in nice calm environment. I recommend the Cuban sandwich and Cuban coffee.
Took my family for a quick lunch - food and service was excellent!
This place has the best waitstaff, the nicest guy in the kitchen, and the best sandwiches and coffee you could ask for. A damn fine cuban, the most comforting vanilla latte, and extremely reasonable prices. I come here at least once a week and dont see myself ever stopping. If youre not sure where to go to lunch downtown, this is the place you need to try.
A very lovely cafe, great food and lovely staff. All of their sandwiches are pressed like a Cuban and it was about $11 for a sandwich and a drink. They have soups as well, their bisque was very solid in particular. They also have a build a bowl menu that lets you customize every ingredient from a list. Aside from some odd customization combinations you could pick everything on this menu is pretty solid at worst. They are very vegetarian friendly, too.All in all, a five star place both times Ive been here.
Excellent restaurant! Good food, good atmosphere, good service, friendly people. Harmony is the best restaurant in Muncie. I highly recommend Harmony Cafe!
Loved it. Small and local with big favor. The island pork was fresh and tasty. Definitely will be back next time Im in Muncie.
I was very happy to have discovered this hidden gem in downtown Muncie today! The food was absolutely amazing. We cant wait to go back and try everything on the menu, one by one!
The food here is always amazing. Glad we have this restaurant in Muncie. The special made dinner options are a treat. Lunch options are also delicious. Dave’s doing his best to provide excellent food in these trying times. It’s a hidden treasure downtown.
Well prepared food and great staff. Maybe the best coffee in town.
Nice, cozy atmosphere. The food seems to be new type.I had the pork with avocado and ginger. Not like my usual drown it in bbq sauce, but it was good. The menu has its own interesting flavors.
Our family enjoyed the grain bowls. Everything was delicious and very flavorful. The staff was very nice & also attentive! Cant wait to stop by again sometime soon.
I love this place! The food is delicious and everything is prepared quickly.
Dined in. Food was INCREDIBLE and filling. Real ingredients. Friendly staff! Lex, our server, was terrific. The cook had cool vibes. I will be back!
Delicious healthy food and great customer service. The waitress was very polite!
First time visit. Actually called and ordered a head of time for a to go order very prompt and polite. On the phone and in person. Ordered two cubanos one with black beans the other with no pickles and no mustard with garland c potato’s. Both meals were very tasty and fresh. Next time we go back will have to try another item menu because so far we loved what we have tried so far. Another local gem to add to our routine of trying new things and supporting local business especially during COVID. Nice job you guys keep up the amazing work.
Loved it, priced affordably, absolutely delicious, I will go back again and again.
230pm and waitress refused to seat us in the window seat. The restaurant was empty and remained so until another couple who also asked for a window seat and were refused. Food was terrible. Potatoes salty, pork was dry and flavorless. How sad, this was once my favorite downtown restaurant, I guess I will go elsewhere where the customer has a say where they like to sit.
Food and service were outstanding.Cuban coffee was very good.Would have given it a five star, but I feel that every establishment can always improve.
Food was very good, excellent service, and Cuban coffee was outstanding 😉
David is am amazing chef. Best Cuban sandwich I have ever had!
Ordered: chicken tiki marcela soup x2 sorry if I butcher any of the names pulled pork sandwich with quinoa salad and 4 cheese grilled cheese sandwich with butter fried garlic potatoes french pressed coffee and a brownie 45.00. The atmosphere is 3 stars I feel alot could be done to liven up the place. The service was phenomenal very helpful with menu items and suggestions very welcoming 5 stars. Food was amazing I am not sure if the sandwich is supose to be served cold but it tasted great soup was phenomenal quinoa salad was also amazing minus the portion size of 1/4 cup. The french pressed coffee was amazing brownie a little underwhelmed with that it was good just not great an expanded dessert menu would be nice. Love the place but I dont think the portion size matches the price, but everything that comes from that kitchen is magical.
This is Michelle’s review, not Brett’s. My friends and I just had lunch at Harmony Cafe. We all loved our food. I had the ham and apple sandwich with quinoa salad. The ham was actual sliced ham, NOT lunch meat ham. It was amazingly delicious and very reasonably priced. The restaurant is super cute, clean and inviting. Will definitely return!
I love this place! I live downtown and it’s always my go to place for simple and great food. The staff is always pleasant and friendly too.
Food was pretty decent, service was friendly. The place however was very dingy. My friends glass has residue from milk or something in the bottom, the chairs looked like they hadnt been wiped off in a long time. Not impressed.
Really good food. Service was great. Will definitely return.
I really wanted to like this place more than I did. The beet & chevre salad was excellent. The gnocchi was chewy and a bit overcooked and meatballs were disappointing. Service was fair.
I had the Elena Ruiz sandwich and quinoa salad. As a business owner I can appreciate the effort put into making this a comfortable atmosphere with friendly staff. As a foodie, I loved the care that goes into creating dishes so rich and tasty while keeping the price point low. Overall I can see this being a great place for a quick soup, salad or sandwich alone or with friends! Keep up the good work!
Amazing and unique food. Would highly recommend. Utterly charming!
Great food! Wife had Island Pork Sandwich and it was delicious! Limited seating but great eating! Highly recommend this local place around the corner from much pricier Vera Maes.
I love this place! I cant get enough. Great homemade food and service.
Food was great, customer service was great, a little pricey but really good. Will go again.
Cozy, local feel. It was perfect for meeting a friend over lunch. The food was fresh and made with quality.
Outstanding sandwiches and sides! Very creative menu that has something for everyone. Great addition to Muncie food!
Great food with an international twist in downtown Muncie. Staff was nice. Definitely should be a staple lunch option for those working in downtown Muncie!
I bring clients here all the time. My office is downtown and this is a great place to eat. Everyone I bring loves it. Food is great (try the gnocchiand atmosphere is perfect!
The food is creative and delicious, the coffee is phenomenal, the service is great, and the atmosphere is perfect!
The service is always great and the staff is personable. I have enjoyed the sandwiches I have tried. I highly recommend checking out Harmony Cafe in Muncie!
I LOVE this Cafe! I am around the corner at Debbies Handmade Soap and its so tempting to order every day! We have it delivered and have dined in its awesome! The Cubano and the Ham & Cheese with Quinoa Salad are wonderful! Highly recommend!
Went here during BSU family weekend, excellent flavorful food. You can tell the soups are homemade. Quinoa salad was excellent, so flavorful. My husband had the Island Pork, chunks of homemade pork with a chutney, black bean side was so good and their potatoes good too. Cant wait to go again!
Food is good...DO NOT ask for extra dressing for the quinoa salad...caused a big stir...and you wont get it...and the chef came to my table to ask about the "problem" told me the flavor...chili lime...is a mixture and Its pre-made ehen he makes the salad....i simply wanted mire flavor...couldnt even get him to add extra lime. Been there 3 times and have never been asked if I would like a drink.. Pork is good and hummus....Suggested a sandwich board out front so you could tell if its open...unless you are standing directly in front of the place you have no idea it exists (I know, from experience...maybe Harmony wants to be a hidden gem too😍)...and the chef told me that he had been open for 2 weeks and was so busy there wasnt a need...side note...I walked to the cafe with one of my friends at 1050a. They werent open...I called...and was told they were just finishing some things...did not offer to open the door or take an order....we ended up eating somewhere else....no matter how good the food isif you dont cater to your customers..or offer good customer service..they wont come back....3rd time is a charm.
Excellent option for lunch here in Downtown Muncie!! My first time visiting absolutely wowed me! I enjoyed the Island Pork sandwich with the side of Cuban Black Beans. My wife had the Black Pepper and Bacon Gnocchi (which was quite good, but it may need a drizzle of oil just to bind it all together a bit more). My friend had the Glazed Pork sandwich with the Butter Garlic Fried Potates for the side and it was also very good. But, man, dont miss their Cuban Coffee! It is smooth, sweet, and potent!Congratulations on the new business! I wish Harmony Cafe much success!
